Father and son say starring with Harrison Ford in whisky campaign was ‘surreal'

The episodic ads are directed by actor and filmmaker Joel Edgerton, and feature the Star Wars actor playing himself as they follow the production of Glenmorangie Original 12 Years Old and The Infinita 18 Years Old, in Tain. The adverts, being shown on TV and social media and also available on YouTube, are said by Glenmorangie to celebrate 'the significance of its home, its craftsmanship and the people that make its award-winning whiskies'. Ford is shown on film getting to grips with Scottish pronunciation and kilt etiquette, bonding with locals over a dram, and getting to know the Duff family. In the second ad, The Campaign, Ford arrives and after mistaking Mr Duff Jnr for another Alan in another department, is given a lesson on how to pronounce Glenmorangie correctly. Mr Duff Jnr, a production operator, said: 'I was very proud to be chosen to play opposite Harrison. You knew you were in the presence of someone so successful, but he made us all feel so comfortable and gave me the advice to just be myself on screen.' He joined the distillery nine years ago after graduating from university, and said the Hollywood star made him forget they were being filmed. Mr Duff Jnr said: 'Filming the scene itself was a lot of fun, but totally surreal. He is such a good actor, I was in awe watching him and sometimes didn't know when he was in or out of character. 'He kept me on my toes when he went off script but gave me the space to wing it and bounce off of him, so much so I forgot the cameras were there. 'Not all fathers and sons have the opportunity to learn alongside each other so I consider myself lucky to get to work with my father every day, and sharing the experience acting alongside Harrison Ford together is something I'll never forget.' Promotional photograph of Harrison Ford wearing a kilt (Lachlan Bailey/PA) In the fifth advert, The Distillery, Ford meets the whole production team, including the father and son due, and he jokes to Mr Duff Snr: 'Ahhhh… he's your fault.' Ford then instructs Mr Duff Jnr: 'Look after me car' – a rare Eagle Speedster Jaguar E-type. In the 10th episode, called Teamwork, Ford raises his glass to toast 'the good people of Glenmorangy' – before being corrected again by Mr Duff Jnr, who tells him: 'It's Glenmorangie.' Mr Duff Snr, a production operator for nearly 30 years, said: 'I was quite nervous to 'act' alongside a global icon like Harrison Ford, but he was a gem of a guy and it was great to see him working. 'My son Alan managed to grow quite a rapport with him, so when Harrison uncovered the fact I was his father, we all had a joke about that.'

The Chase's Paul Sinha 'hands in notice' as contestants scoop £100k prize pot

Paul was defeated by the two quizzers who won a whopping £100k between them. The Chase's Paul Sinha"hands in notice" after quizzers won £100,000. The ITV show host Bradley Walsh joked that 'The Sinnerman' needed to quit his role as a Chaser after the blunder. Brad said that the Chaser has "handed his notice in" after an "unbelievable" final round that saw the quizzers victorious. Players Ian, Jennie, Gregor and Karen all appeared on the quiz panel with the hopes of bagging some cash in the final chase. ‌ First up to take on the chaser was Ian, a magician from London, who managed to secure £6,000 in the cash builder. ‌ He managed to make it back to the team and landed himself a place in the final. Jennie then tried her luck but was unfortunately caught and was sent home. Karen then felt brave and opted for the high offer of £93,000. Fans of the show took to social media to praise her for going for the biggest amount of money. One said: "Good girl!," while a second added: "Karen didn't even stutter taking that high offer." The gamble paid off as she managed to also get into the final with Ian, which meant they had the chance to win £100,000 between them. The two players managed to answer 16 questions correctly in the final chase before Paul tried to beat them. However, Paul wasn't able to beat them as he usually would, which meant they walked away with £50,000 each. ‌ There was only one second left on the clock as Bradley said: "That was close." The Chaser then praise Ian and Karen as he added: "You absolutely deserve every penny of that." Paul then said he was disappointed with himself as he joked: "I've cost ITV £100,000 but you don't need to care about any of that." It was then that Bradley quipped: "That's a funny way to hand in your notice." ‌ Ian and Karen then spoke about how they planned to spend their winnings. Karen said she wanted to treat her son by taking him to the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix while Ian said he wanted to splash out on a brand new car. Despite the hefty defeat, it was recently revealed that The Sinnerman is the most successful Chaser. Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha boasts a 78 percent win rate across his 436 appearances on The Chase. The quiz guru's average target to beat is 19 and he holds the highest average Chaser win total, raking in £14,651, making him the most financially successful chaser on the show. Meanwhile, Mark Labbett, better known as 'The Beast' has a 76 percent win rate over 475 episodes since his start in 2009. Labbett, who was the show's inaugural Chaser, holds the record for the highest average target to beat, at 20, and the highest accuracy in the final chase, answering 83% of questions correctly. Serious threat issued to EastEnders' Tommy after shocking incident is committed

Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) is dealt a stark warning in EastEnders next week. As viewers of the BBC One soap know, the youngster has had quite a difficult year. He was taken into foster care after abusing mum Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), and subsequently entered a friendship with an unknown online friend. It later transpired that his new mate didn't exist – it was artificial intelligence. Tommy faced ridicule from his peers, but there was one person who could see past it. Newcomer Joel Marshall (Max Murray) swanned into Albert Square from Australia, bringing with him a lorry load of new issues to put upon Tommy. He'd been forced to flee the country alongside dad Ross (Alex Walkinshaw) and his partner Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) when he upskirted a pupil in his class. Ross coughed up $50,000 in exchange for the girl's silence, but her family demanded that they also return to the UK. Joel has since gone on to introduce naïve Tommy to pornography, and recorded himself having sex with Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James). She's since received significant online backlash from teens who have found out they've slept together. In upcoming scenes, Joel's troubled behaviour worsens… and he entwines Tommy into the scheme. The boys are returning from a day out together, and when they board a tube, Joel whips out his phone and instructs Tommy to start recording. Stumbling through the carriage, he falls onto another passenger – Isla – and touches her inappropriately. Tommy is horrified by the encounter, and a furious Isla rushes over to the police at Walford East to ensure that Joel is apprehended. At the station, Ross demands answers from his son, while Vicki has her own matters to discuss. Cornering Isla, she assures her that she will take appropriate action to prevent Joel from committing such an act again. Vicki also swaps phone numbers, should Isla need to contact her in future.
