Our 12 favorite golf hats for the summer of 2025
You're come to the right place.
There are many uses for a hat, but at this point, hats are also just part of the uniform for golfers, and there are thousands of different models from hundreds of brands. It can be a pain to sort through.
But don't worry, we've got you covered. Here are our 12 favorite hats you can sport on the golf course this summer.
Adidas - Tour Five-Panel Hat
The Adidas Tour Five-Panel Hat is offered in five colors and maintains a slightly retro style that is certain to go with any outfit you decide to don on the golf course. Its snapback closure allows for adjustable fitting and it's made with Adidas' signature composition of at least 50 percent recycled materials, too.
Original Penguin - Core Ventilated Golf Cap
Orginial Penguin takes breathability to the next level with its Core Ventilated Golf Cap. This one is perfect for the hottest of hot summer days, with literal holes in the sides, back, and front to keep your head cool for the entire round. It comes in five different colors and features an adjustable snapback and the brand's classic penguin logo.
Peter Millar - Golf On The Rocks Performance Hat
Nothing goes together quite like a nice beverage after (or during) a long day on the golf course. Peter Millar asks you to embrace that marriage with its Golf On The Rocks Performance Hat, with a playful design depicting a golf ball and flagstick inside a cocktail glass. Plus, its elastic loop closure offers even more adjustability than a traditional snapback, making sure you get the perfect fit.
Ping - Anthem Tour Snapback
Of course, summer also means Independence Day for those of us in the U.S., and if you're feeling patriotic, this could be the one for you. Ping's Anthem Tour Snapback is an adjustable hat with a mesh back for breathability, but its front-facing design is what catches the eye. The stars and stripes placed inside a gold frame make for a remarkably sharp look.
Radmor - Dead Center Trucker
The best place for your putt to go is right in the middle of the cup, or as most golfers refer to it: "Dead center." That's what Radmor is celebrating with its Dead Center Trucker hat, which features the brand's "dead center" logo and mesh side and back panels. It's also constructed from recycled ocean plastic.
Rhoback - Poly Performance Hat
Another one that can go with just about any combination of clothes, and its functionality is top-notch. The Rhoback Poly Performance Hat has just that in mind: performance. Its profile is structured but soft and its fabric is lightweight and designed to wick sweat away from your head, ensuring maximum comfortability while you're out on the links.
TaylorMade - Lifestyle Rope Cap
The look of this hat is just flat out excellent. The grayish blue is sharp and the rope adds a white and black accent that really makes the logo — TaylorMade's classic branding embossed in leather — pop. Not only is it pleasing to the eye, its composed of a durable cotton blend that is built to last.
Titleist - Players Tech Hat
Most golfers know the look of the classic Titleist tour hat, which usually features the ProV1 and FootJoy logos on the sides. Those hats are great, and there's plenty of them at PGA Tour Superstore, but if you're looking for something a little different, the Players Tech Hat is the way to go. It's lightweight and features a more athletic look and fit, with ventilated side panels.
Titleist - SP25: Charleston Aussie Hat
For anyone who needs some extra protection from those pesky UV rays, Titleist's SP25: Charleston Aussie Hat is perfect for you. The string at the bottom allows for a nice, snug fit, and if you don't like it, you can remove it. This piece also features a sweatband outfitted with StaCool technology around the edges and protection from 50+ UPF for the days when the sun is beating down.
TravisMathew - Final Boarding Snapback Hat
If you're in search of a hat where comfort is its top priority, this might just be the one. The TravisMathew Final Boarding Snapback features Flexfit 110 technology, which is a combination of quick-drying, stretchy fabric and an adjustable closure for ultimate versatility. It doesn't sacrifice style, either, with the classic TravisMathew emblem placed on a festive and subtle floral patch.
Srixon - Tour Original Cap
As traditional as it gets here. This is Srixon's flagship piece when it comes to headwear, and it's one you'll see often worn by the pros on the PGA and LPGA Tour. It has sweat-wicking fabric and slider buckle strap on the back, allowing for the ideal fit, and its structured profile promises durability.
2Putt - Fly Like an Eagle Hat
One more patriotic entry for the road, but this one isn't your typical USA piece of apparel. 2Putts Fly Like an Eagle Hat is perfectly festive, with a fun eagle design on the front and subtle but noticeable rope across the top of the brim. This one is multipurpose, too. It could be a festive 4th of July hat, or it simply could be an homage to making eagles on the golf course. Either way, you need it.

Liverpool get big Alexander Isak deal boost
There has been a DRAMATIC update in Liverpool's chase for Alexander Isak. Isak, 25, claims promises have been broken by the Geordies and his current stance is that he will not play for the club again. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas away range Liverpool tested Newcastle's resolve a few weeks back - offering a British record fee for the Swede - but the North East side were in no mood for negotiations. Newcastle make hefty Isak demands Despite Isak effectively being on strike it looks like the Magpies currently have no plans to sell him. Unless their demands are met - and more significantly unless they get two players into their strike line - then Liverpool could well be frustrated. Isak signed for Newcastle from Real Sociedad back in 2022 for a fee of £63m - agreeing a six-year contract - but relations with the club are at an all-time low. However, he will not be leaving for anyone else other than Liverpool. That's according to a new report in Caught Offside - which also reveals that Newcastle would deal at £147m. Isak is pushing hard for Liverpool 'Figures close to the situation described Isak as 'pushing hard' to get his dream transfer to LFC, who remain in 'pole position' to capitalise on this dire situation with Newcastle,' the report reads. 'So far, the Premier League champions have had a £110m bid rejected by NUFC, who are adamant that their asking price of around £147m must be met.' There have been links with Al-Hilal - and more outlandishly with Real Madrid - but it appears Isak has got eyes only for the Premier League champions. © IMAGO - Alexander Isak Liverpool

In the US Open's qualifying tournament, the smaller sportswear brands can shine
NEW YORK (AP) — Tennis apparel sponsorship is a big business. It is also one that, among the top players, is dominated by a small group of industry titans. Brands like Nike, Adidas and Asics provide the outfits for most of the top 100, with their recognizable logos splashed across the shirts and skirts of Grand Slam favorites. But if one looks beyond that upper echelon and into the U.S. Open's qualifying tournament – where lower-ranked players compete for spots in the main draw – there's a world of local startups and small clothing businesses making their way into the booming tennis business. For many players in the qualifying tournament, their apparel sponsors are companies local to their home country. These companies often specifically seek out their countrymen. 'It's key to sponsor and help our Swiss players,' said Laura Tolub, the chief operating officer of Fourteen Company. Fourteen is a small sportswear brand based in Geneva, Switzerland, that sponsors a couple of Swiss players in the qualifying draw. 'It doesn't mean we're only sponsoring Swiss players, but it's important to us to … be there for them.' That country connection is often important on the player's side, too. Swiss player Marc-Andrea Hüsler, ranked 228th, won his second round qualifying match Thursday afternoon in Fourteen apparel. 'It's a Swiss brand, so I wanted to do something with the Swiss if possible,' he said about his decision to join the brand two years ago. 'They were new and they were building up.' They've built into a tight-knit community, according to Tolub. '(Some players) want to have the feeling they are part of a family, which Fourteen is,' she said. 'It's more of a family than a big brand.' Arianne Hartono went a similar route. She is sponsored by The Indian Maharadja, a Dutch company known for its hockey clothing and based out of Nieuwkuijk, a small town of about 5,000 people. 'They were a very small startup, like three, four years ago,' Hartono said. 'They approached me through social media, they just came at me and said, 'Hey, we're a small company, we want to start coming into tennis.'' She agreed, and their spiral logo was on full display as the Dutch player, ranked 158th, made her way into the third round of the qualifying tournament with a tight victory Thursday afternoon. Other qualifiers look for the right fit beyond country lines. Argentine Marco Trungelliti, ranked No. 183rd, found one with personal ties. His match clothes are made by a small upstart in Mexico called Lega, an apparel brand that's run by 'a friend of a friend,' who the Argentine said he has become quite close with through their time working together. His shirts have been getting attention from keen-eyed fans – at the French Open, his top had a large Eiffel Tower design, and now in the U.S. Open's qualifying rounds, it's a Statue of Liberty. 'It's a complete new run,' he said of the New York City shirt, which was designed and manufactured by Lega specifically for his U.S. Open matches. 'I'm not a designer at all, but I had some opinions in there,' he said after winning his second round qualifying match. 'But this one was completely on (the Lega designer), and I loved it.' ___ More AP tennis:
