The alleged victim claims Ault made them rub their privates on her chest, an indictment claimsA Nevada woman who created an online community for mothers is facing child abuse charges.
Christiann Ault was charged with two counts of lewdness with a child and one count of child abuse or neglect pertaining to alleged incidents in 2022, according to Clark County Court records reviewed by PEOPLE.
Ault was an administrator of the Facebook group "Las Vegas Super Moms," News 3, 8 News Now and 13 KTNV reported. News 3 identified her as the founder of the group.
The private group was founded in 2021 as a space for moms in Las Vegas to 'talk, connect, rant, laugh, vent, cry, celebrate, and even occasionally meet up," according to its description on Facebook, News 3 reported. It had nearly 30,000 members, per the outlets, but its activity has been paused for a month.
According to court documents reviewed by PEOPLE, Ault allegedly made the child rub their privates on her chest and legs 'with the intent of arousing, appealing to, or gratifying the lust, passions or sexual desires of defendant.' (The indictment was shared online by 13 KTNV and News 3).
The child told authorities Ault had lured them into the acts with the promise of "iPad time," per court documents cited by 8 News Now and News 3.
"And then it was making, she was wanting me to rub my private areas on her. I didn't want to. It made me feel uncomfortable," the child said.Ault also allegedly locked the child in a room because she was mad at them and told them she hated them, the child told authorities.
Ault allegedly threatened the child with violence if they revealed her abuse, per court records cited by 8 News Now.
"She, um, told me don't tell anyone this, or something bad is going to happen,' the child alleged, adding that "something bad" entailed: "Spank me, yell at me, probably break my eardrums."
The child told a grand jury that the abuse spanned nearly two years, once or twice a week in Ault's bedroom apartment, until March 2024, according to unspecified paperwork cited by News 3.
The evidence reviewed by a grand jury includes a video call in which Ault allegedly pleads with the child not to speak up, saying that doing so could land her in jail, 8 News Now reported.
'I'm sorry, baby. I'm just scared,' Ault told the child in the video call. 'I'm just scared I'm gonna go to jail, to be honest with you, I'm scared because you and I have always been best buds, and I miss you.'
"I just need you to know how important it is to always tell the truth,' Ault allegedly said in another portion of the call. 'I know you're scared right now, and I know you're confused. I know you are."
Ault has pleaded not guilty to the charges, court records show.

Kensington hotel worker jailed over child rape livestream had twice dodged prosecution for abuse images

A Kensington hotel worker caught trying to livestream the rape of an eight-year-old girl had twice previously dodged prosecution after being suspected of having indecent images of children, The Standard can reveal. Lester Sharpe, 47, used encrypted app Telegram to organise the sexual abuse of a girl overseas by a man, and agreed to pay for a live video of the rape taking place. He requested that the girl had 'pigtails in hair' and was wearing white socks, and wanted to watch the child while the man was preparing to rape her. But rather than a real abuser, Sharpe was actually messaging an undercover police officer from the North East Regional Organised Crime Unit. Police went to Sharpe's workplace, the Park International hotel in Cromwell Road, Kensington, at 11pm on May 7, the night the abuse had been arranged for. They found Sharpe – on a break from work – in a locked room at the hotel with the livestream open on his phone. His trousers were undone and he had removed his underwear, Southwark crown court heard. Judge Michael Hopmeier sentenced Sharpe, a married father, to eight years and three months in prison, with an extra four years on licence after release. Before passing sentence, the judge was told about two incidents in Sharpe's past when he was suspected of having child abuse images but did not face a criminal prosecution. In March 2003, a message was posted to a website used by paedophiles saying: "I live in UK have 2 daughters aged 4 and 9... available for suck and play. I will be present. I have 2 unlisted groups send hardcore pics to join." A Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) note for the court, summarising the incident, said police investigated and Sharpe – then working as a medical receptionist - was 'the most likely to have had the opportunity to access the internet at that time'. Computers from his place of work were seized and examined, while a check on Sharpe revealed he did not actually have children at that time. There was a delay of more than 18 months in examining one of the computers, and it was not until December 2004 that indecent images of children were found. The court heard Sharpe was 'identified as a possible suspect' by his boss, and timesheets showed he had been working the nightshift at the time of the message being posted. ] But it was not until September 2005 that he was questioned, and told police he has little memory of the night two-and-a-half years earlier. A police record reveals Sharpe 'read the content of the message posting, he reacted in shock and disgust stating he could not imagine anyone past or present at the company who would have done this', and a decision was then taken to take no further action and drop the investigation. In February 2022, Sharpe was arrested in a National Crime Agency investigation into two category A child abuse images uploaded online using a Skype account. The account was traced back to Sharpe's home, but a search of his electronic devices did not turn up any illegal images when he was arrested. The CPS said Sharpe denied involvement and said he 'struggled to think who might done such a thing in his house', before a decision to take no further action was made. Prosecutors put forward the details to the judge at his sentencing hearing, as evidence that Sharpe has a 'sexual attraction towards under-age children'. When he was first arrested over the hotel incident, Sharpe claimed to have been attempting to catch those facilitating child abuse. But he later pleaded guilty to arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sexual offence. A probation report found 'entrenched offending behaviour', and Sharpe himself admitted his relief that the police had caught him. The judge said he penned a letter saying 'the only positive is no real child was involved', before adding: 'If it was not for the police action, there so easily could have been. 'I could have potentially caused very real harm to a very real child, and that thought is utterly horrifying.' Sharpe went on to say he believes prison 'gives him a chance to reflect, rehabilitate, and rebuild. 'The shame, regret, and remorse will never leave him', added the judge. The police press release about Sharpe's conviction did not mention the incidents from his past, and mis-stated that he had been jailed for 12 years.

Israeli government official arrested in Nevada sex crimes operation

A cybersecurity official for the Israeli government was arrested in Nevada during an operation targeting child sex predators. Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, 38, was arrested earlier this month and is facing a felony charge of luring a child with a computer for a sex act, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said Friday. He has since been released from custody after posting a $10,000 bail, court records show. Alexandrovich was one of eight people arrested in the past two weeks as a result of the operation, police said. The Israeli government's website refers to the 38-year-old as head of the Technological Defense Division at the Israel National Cyber Directorate, which is the government agency responsible 'for all aspects of cyber defense in the civilian sphere.' Alexandrovich's LinkedIn Profile, which has since been deleted, also described him as an agency official, Mediaite reported. Screenshots from his account suggest he was in Las Vegas to attend Black Hat USA, a six-day event that includes conferences and cybersecurity trainings. He posted a photo of himself at the event on LinkedIn and wrote an emoji-rich caption: 'Two things you can't escape at Black Hat 2025: the relentless buzz of Generative Al [and] and the sound of Hebrew…in every corridor.' Under Nevada law, the crime of cyber luring carries a sentence of one to 10 years behind bars. The police said Alexandrovich and six others arrested during the undercover operation were booked into the Henderson Detention Center. He was released from custody after posting bond on August 7, court records show. The Independent has asked the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for more information about Alexandrovich's whereabouts. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office denied that a government employee was arrested. 'A state employee who traveled to the U.S. for professional matters was questioned by American authorities during his stay,' the prime minister's office said, in a statement to Mediaite. 'The employee, who does not hold a diplomatic visa, was not arrested and returned to Israel as scheduled.' Israeli news site Ynet reported that an Israel National Cyber Directorate employee was 'briefly detained for questioning during a professional conference' in the U.S. before returning to his hotel and flying back to Israel two days later.
