Adivi Sesh also admitted to being a bit late with the post but clarified that he has a deep respect and love for the writer. 'I'm terrible with dates and I'm sorry I am a day late. But my respect and love for you as a younger brother, as your student, only grows with each passing day. Thank you for everything," he continued.

Adivi Sesh, known for his gripping performances in action thrillers like Goodachari and Major, is set to expand his horizon with Dacoit—his first full-fledged love story on screen.
Set to release in December 2025, Dacoit features Adivi alongside Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap. The film is being shot in both Hindi and Telugu. It explores love and rebellion set against a dynamic, action-driven backdrop.
Adivi Sesh On Genre Shift
Speaking about the shift in genre, Sesh, in a statement, shared, 'This is the first time I'm truly diving into a love story as a genre — and that in itself makes Dacoit very special to me. Even though my character is raw and filled with rage, the story at its core is about love — the kind that transforms you, redeems you, even breaks you. That emotional conflict set against a canvas of action and thrill gives the film a unique energy."
Directed by Shaneil Deo, Dacoit is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang and presented by Annapurna Studios.

The action comes after a complaint alleging that she featured in obscene films and advertisements for commercial purposes. It was initially submitted to the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court, which subsequently directed the local police to take action. Following the court's directive, an FIR was registered against Menon. (Image: Instagram) The charges include provisions under the Prevention of Obscenity Act, the Information Technology Act, and Sections 3 and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. The FIR alleges that certain films and advertisements featuring Menon contained vulgar content and were allegedly used for financial gain. In 2004, she was charged with insulting the Indian flag at a fashion show, where Menon walked the ramp allegedly with the Indian tricolour wrapped around her body. She also allowed her delivery to be recorded for the film Kalimannu (2013). The Kerala Film Exhibitors condemned the act for commercializing the most private affair of a woman.
