Wholly owned subsidiary has been established for the crypto business
UAE – 19 August 2025: Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc, a California-based global shared intelligent electric mobility ecosystem company, has officially launched its 'EAI + Crypto' Dual-Flywheel & Dual-Bridge Ecosystem Strategy — marking the beginning of a new chapter in AI mobility and Web3 integration.
This initiative integrates Embodied AI (EAI) with the explosive growth of the crypto asset economy to create a two-way, independently operating circular growth engine between Web2 and Web3, positioning FF at the forefront of the next era in global industrial and financial evolution.
A new growth paradigm
Faraday Future believes that AI represents the next great leap in productivity, while Crypto and Web3 signify a revolution in the relations of production. Together, these forces offer a once-in-decades opportunity for transformation — a meta-chemistry that FF aims to drive through its newly launched strategy.
'The next decade could be a super long bull cycle for the crypto market,' said Ian Calderon, FF Co-Creation Officer and Founding Board Member of the California Blockchain Working Group. 'FF is building a dual-engine circular growth system — combining the long-cycle, high-value EAI EV ecosystem with the short-cycle, high-velocity Crypto ecosystem. These two flywheels will empower each other, redefining what's possible in mobility and financial innovation.'
Building the bridge between Web2 and Web3
FF's Dual-Bridge Strategy positions the Company as one of the first U.S.-listed public companies directly connecting real-world business operations with on-chain assets. Plans are underway to launch the EAI Vehicle Chain, enabling tokenized vehicle sales, crypto-based deposits, and Web3-native user engagement — while leveraging blockchain technology to create a decentralized and transparent mobility economy.
'The Dual-Flywheel & Dual-Bridge Strategy reflects our deep insights into the future of the global economy,' said YT Jia, Founder & Co-CEO of Faraday Future. 'FF is not just transitioning into a Web3 era — we are architecting it. This is how we deliver exponential value creation for our stockholders.'
A new crypto infrastructure for capital markets
FF also officially announced the C10 Index, a market-cap-weighted basket of the world's top 10 crypto assets (excluding stablecoins), calculated from midnight Pacific Time on August 16, 2025, with a base value of 1,000. The Index will be tracked in real-time on FF.com and the FF App.
Accompanying the Index, the FFAI C10 Treasury is being launched — targeting $500M to $1B in initial crypto asset purchases, with a dedicated $30M funding round completed or nearly complete. Assets will be allocated using an 80% passive, 20% active strategy. The treasury is designed to provide sustainable returns, with staking yields estimated at 3%–5%, creating stable income that can fund product innovation, stock buybacks, and further asset growth.
FF is also preparing to apply for a C10 ETF license, aiming to expand public access to the value potential of this portfolio.
The Crypto Flywheel strategy — operated through a wholly owned and independently managed subsidiary, FFAI Crypto Treasury and Bridging Holdings Inc. — is expected to dramatically enhance FF's income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow. With on-chain assets serving as both reserves and flexible capital, the strategy enables FF to generate stable income through staking, reduce reliance on high-cost financing, and improve net asset value and structure. It aims to accelerate product development and market expansion through a 1/3–1/3–1/3 profit reinvestment model.
FF's crypto and EV businesses are operated under separate legal and financial structures to ensure risk isolation, operational independence, and asset transparency. Digital assets will be held by third-party custodians and will be fully verifiable on-chain. The structure is designed to allow strategic synergies without cross-subsidization, ensuring both lines of business can flourish independently — while reinforcing each other.
With this launch, Faraday Future offers investors access to potential dual benefits from the AI mobility and crypto asset markets. This revolutionary move supports the Company's long-standing commitment to maximize stockholder value in a future-forward and sustainable manner.

HONEYWELL GLOBAL SURVEY: MIDDLE EAST RETAILERS INVESTING IN AI TO STREAMLINE OPERATIONS, BOOST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES

Three-fourths 76% of large retailers in the Middle East have already developed AI capabilities, with only 2% not investing in the technology Middle East leading the way on adoption of augmented reality for retail Dubai, 2025 — Honeywell Nasdaq: HON today released its Global Retailer Technology Survey, which found that the Middle East's major retailers are fully invested in artificial intelligence AI and its potential to make operations more efficient. Over three-quarters 76% of in-region retailers are already using AI, with plans to either expand it in the near future 58% or maintain current usage of the technology 18%. The survey also highlights how Middle East retailers are thinking about AI use, from merchandising to customer service and last-mile delivery. Middle East retailers said procurement (48%), customer experience (46%) and demand planning (34%) were the areas that stand to benefit most from AI and digitization. Survey respondents attributed more value to AI for procurement than other regions did (+20%). By contrast, fewer retailers in the Middle East than in other regions said AI had the potential to accelerate their sales and marketing efforts 26% and 30% in the Middle East vs. 34% and 37% globally. 'Across the Middle East, AI has tremendous potential to enhance the omnichannel shopping journey by creating hyper-personalized experiences for customers,' said George Bou Mitri, Honeywell Industrial Automation's president for the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Central Asia region. 'We are also seeing AI's ability to streamline critical retail processes throughout the supply chain in the region, bringing many benefits to retail operations.' Other advanced technologies are also making an impact on the retail landscape in the Middle East. The region is leading the way on adoption of augmented reality AR—helping shoppers or employees visualize a product in a space—with 40% of surveyed retailers using the technology compared to 31% globally. In addition, 36% of Middle Eastern retailers are using machine and camera vision (CV) technologies and 30% are using optical character recognition (OCR). OCR can significantly speed up retail workflows when replenishing the shelf inventory or identifying mislabeled prices by quickly reading labels and other product information. CV can help mitigate the growing challenge with retail shrinkage. While survey results show overall continued momentum for AI, retailers in the Middle East expressed some concerns about its adoption. The top anticipated challenges for future AI implementation in the region included complexity of AI models 64%, regulatory compliance 40% and workforce adaptation 40%—suggesting there is an opportunity for retailers to demonstrate to their associates the benefits AI can bring. While customer acceptance was cited as a potential roadblock to AI adoption by 40% of global retailers, only 34% of respondents in the Middle East said it would be a challenge for future AI implementation within the retail sector. Honeywell's Global Retailer Technology Survey focused on large retailers throughout the U.S., Europe, Latin America, India and the Middle East and how they are using advanced technologies throughout their operations, including AI, automation, augmented reality, machine vision and sensors. Middle Eastern retailers participating in the survey were located throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates and had a minimum annual revenue of $5 million USD. Methodology: Honeywell commissioned Wakefield Research to conduct the Global Honeywell Retailer Technology Survey in May 2025. This Omnibus survey polled 450 executives at large retailers about their use of AI and other technologies via an email invitation and online survey. The following markets are represented in survey data: the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil, India, United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The threshold of 'large' retailer varied by country, ranging from a minimum annual revenue of $100 million in the U.S. to minimum annual revenue of $5 million in the UAE and KSA.

Microsoft employee protests over Israel military ties lead to 18 arrests

AP — Police officers arrested 18 people at worker-led protests at Microsoft headquarters Wednesday as the tech company promises an 'urgent' review of the Israeli military's use of its technology during the ongoing war in Gaza. Two consecutive days of protest at the Microsoft (MSFT) campus in Redmond, Washington called for the tech giant to immediately cut its business ties with Israel. But unlike Tuesday, when about 35 protesters occupying a plaza between office buildings left after Microsoft asked them to leave, the protesters Wednesday 'resisted and became aggressive' after the company told police they were trespassing, according to the Redmond Police Department. The protesters also splattered red paint resembling the color of blood over a landmark sign that bears the company logo and spells Microsoft in big gray letters. 'We said, 'Please leave or you will be arrested,' and they chose not to leave so they were detained,' said police spokesperson Jill Green. Microsoft late last week said it was tapping a law firm to investigate allegations reported by British newspaper The Guardian that the Israeli Defense Forces used Microsoft's Azure cloud computing platform to store phone call data obtained through the mass surveillance of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. 'Microsoft's standard terms of service prohibit this type of usage,' the company said in a statement posted Friday, adding that the report raises 'precise allegations that merit a full and urgent review.' In February, The Associated Press revealed previously unreported details about the tech giant's close partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defense, with military use of commercial artificial intelligence products skyrocketing by nearly 200 times after the deadly October 7, 2023, Hamas attack. The AP reported that the Israeli military uses Azure to transcribe, translate and process intelligence gathered through mass surveillance, which can then be cross-checked with Israel's in-house AI-enabled targeting systems. Following The AP's report, Microsoft acknowledged the military applications but said a review it commissioned found no evidence that its Azure platform and AI technologies were used to target or harm people in Gaza. Microsoft did not share a copy of that review or say who conducted it. Microsoft said it will share the latest review's findings after it's completed by law firm Covington & Burling. The promise of a second review was insufficient for the employee-led No Azure for Apartheid group, which for months has protested Microsoft's supplying the Israeli military with technology used for its war against Hamas in Gaza. The group said Wednesday that the technology is 'being used to surveil, starve and kill Palestinians.' Microsoft in May fired an employee who interrupted a speech by CEO Satya Nadella to protest the contracts and in April fired two others who interrupted the company's 50th anniversary celebration. On Tuesday, the protesters posted online a call for what they called a 'worker intifada,' using language evoking the Palestinian uprisings against Israeli military occupation that began in 1987. On Wednesday, the police department said it took 18 people into custody 'for multiple charges, including trespassing, malicious mischief, resisting arrest, and obstruction.' It wasn't clear how many were Microsoft employees. No injuries were reported. Microsoft said in a statement after the arrests that it 'will continue to do the hard work needed to uphold its human rights standards in the Middle East, while supporting and taking clear steps to address unlawful actions that damage property, disrupt business or that threaten and harm others.'
