For When You're… On The Plane
Smug's Contoured 3D Blackout Sleep Mask, £15, and Memory Foam Earplugs, £5
If you are flying for more than a couple of hours, then you're going to need a few things to make the journey a little more comfortable, and earplugs and a sleep mask are always essentials for me. I adore this blackout mask from Smug because its unique contoured shape leaves space around your eyes, which protects your lashes from damaging friction while also adding an extra layer of comfort by not having the fabric pressing down on you. In addition, the contoured fit and mask's black material seamlessly blocks out all light — which is perfect for creating your own little sleep sanctuary on a busy airplane. And Smug are really coming through with all of your sleep necessities, with their earplugs also an ideal choice for when you want to ensure as much peace as possible in a busy environment. Made out of memory foam, the earplugs adapt and mould to each person's individual ear shape, which makes them super comfortable and prevents them from slipping out in the night, like so many other earplugs do. Needless to say, while you might be whipping these out on the plane over, they are also absolute must-haves for your holiday accommodation, with ineffective curtains and noisy neighbors making them the travel essentials that just keep on giving.
Glow Recipe Lip Glass Balm Treatment for Shine and Hydration, £19.00
In addition to being noisy and generally unpleasant, flights are renowned for how drying they are on your skin, particularly your face, which is why I always love to have a good lip balm to hand for regular application throughout the journey. However, if you have Glow Recipe's recently-launched Lip Glass Balm Treatment in your hand luggage, then you don't need to worry about reapplying all the time, as each application delivers an impressive 12 hours of shine and hydration. FYI, the range is actually inspired by Korea's famous shaved ice dessert, Bingsoo, and is available in four flavors: Ice Bingsoo, Watermelon Bingsoo, Blackberry Bingsoo, and Strawberry Bingsoo, with each tint packed full of antioxidants and fruit extracts that nourish and plump your lips while delivering a burst of hydration and glassy finish, all while smelling deliciously fruity. What more could you possibly ask for?
LANEIGE Cream Skin Cerapeptide Mist, £10
And speaking of airplanes drying you out, I can't remember the last time I flew without a refreshing skin mist to hand, and I'm obsessed with this Cream Skin Cerapeptide Mist from Laneige.Mists are perfect for waking up your skin (and yourself) during a long journey, but this one has the added skincare benefits of actively working to protect your barrier with a firming formula that will also boost your skin's elasticity and radiance with regular use. And, as with all things Laneige, it is incredibly hydrating, making it the perfect secret weapon to combat that unpleasant plane air.
For When You... Land
Plenaire Skin Frosting Deeply Hydrating Mask, £18
While I personally don't love the idea of doing a full skincare routine and/ or face mask on an airplane (by the way, many skincare specialists actively advise against this!), I do love nothing more than having a face mask to put on straight after a flight, which is why I was overjoyed to see that Plenaire now do their iconic Skin Frosting mask in a handy travel size.Skin Frosting is perfect for travel because it is specifically formulated to be as deeply hydrating as possible, with raw coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, and Japanese tsubaki (camellia oil) all coming together to create an incredibly nourishing formula that will help your skin recover from exposure to drying conditions while simultaneously working to boost your skin's elasticity and moisture retention. As if that wasn't enough, it also has natural anti-inflammatory ingredients that work to calm and soothe skin and can serve as a refreshing tonic to sunburn or irritation from hot temperatures while abroad. All in all, this mask left my skin feeling hydrated, plump, and supple, and gave me a dewy glaze that I absolutely loved. I'll definitely be making this a staple in my post-flight self-care routine going forward!
For When You're… Sunbathing At The Pool Or Beach
Revolution Skin Sunray Glow Daily Protection Sunscreen SPF 50+ with Vitamin C and Revolution Skin Sunray Blur Daily Protection Sunscreen SPF 50+ with Niacinamide, £12
In case you didn't know, Revolution recently launched not one but two daily protection sunscreens that are specially formulated to enhance the appearance of your skin while giving it important protection from the sun's harmful UV rays. The Sunray Glow day cream is infused with vitamin C and has a subtle shimmer finish to instantly brighten your skin and give you a dewy glow. Meanwhile, the Sunray Blur cream is infused with niacinamide, vitamin E, and glycerin to help reduce the appearance of pores with a smoothing effect. Both of these products contain SPF 50+ and are incredibly lightweight and fast-absorbing on your skin. The three-in-one formula works to protect, prime, and moisturize, and I was pleased to find that I could also reapply the cream over my finished makeup without ruining my base. As a lover of all things sparkle, I think the Sunray Glow is my personal favorite of the two, but they both do exactly what they say on the tin, and I am so happy to have found a protective sunscreen that actively improves my overall makeup routine, too.
Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance Body Spray SPF 50, £36
But, of course, it's not just our face that needs protecting, and Sol de Janeiro has really come through with their Rio Radiance Body Spray SPF 50, which — as you can probably imagine — smells absolutely incredible in addition to being super practical. Rio Radiance is available in Cheirosa 87, which is arguably one of Sol de Janeiro's most summery fragrances, with notes of leite de coco, solar tuberose, and vanilla. The spray design makes for really easy application, and the formula has been enriched with niacinamide, pongamia seed, and pitanga extract to help protect your skin from environmental pollutants and aggressors, leaving you with a luminous glow and visibly brighter skin while shielding it from UV damage. Oh, and it is also infused with coconut water, which is both incredibly hydrating and cooling, providing an instant pick-me-up upon application. Who said that UV protection had to be boring?!
Philip Kingsley Swimcap, £25
And before you dive into the pool or go for a dip in the sea, you might want to apply your Swimcap, a water-resistant mask from Philip Kingsley that is designed to be worn while swimming or sunbathing to protect your hair from the damaging effects of UV rays, salt water, and chlorine. The formula is made with castor oil and olive oil, which help to lock in moisture and boost shine, as well as hydrolyzed elastin, which strengthens your hair's body and elasticity, reducing breakage... And I am pleased to say that it really does work! While I have never been the kind of person who refuses to get their hair wet when on holiday, I do struggle with the aftermath of a fun day at the beach or water park, with my hair always left feeling incredibly dry, tangled, and in terrible condition. But after applying Philip Kingsley's Swimcap on a recent holiday, my hair was bouncy, shiny, and tangle-free when I washed it at the end of each day, which was a total game changer. FYI, this product also contains UV absorbers that are said to create a protective layer around your hair to shield it from the discoloring effects of chlorine, which basically prevents bleached hair from turning green. Full disclosure, I don't have bleached hair, so can't personally vouch for this, but the reviews certainly do.
For When You're... Going Out In The Evening
Trinny London Trinity Lip, Cheek, and Eye Makeup Stick, £36
And after your day in the sun, you'll probably want to get ready for a nice evening out, and there are some brilliant makeup products to make that process as easy as possible for you, starting with this Trinity Lip, Cheek, and Eye Makeup Stick from Trinny London.I don't know about you, but I regularly travel with just the free under-seat luggage that you get on budget airlines, which means that I need to streamline my packing as much as possible, so this multi-use stick is a total godsend when it comes to packing light. In just one dual-ended product, you have makeup for your eyes, lips, and cheeks covered, with Trinity available in three shades that are created with complementary colors in mind; one glow, and one creamy matte.New York, which is the one that I have, comes with a rose gold glow and a terracotta brown, Mustique has a sunset bronze glow with fresh petal pink, and Venice combines a golden pink glow with a soft dusky rose. Each color is easy to blend and incredibly buildable, meaning that you have full control over how much depth your eyes, lips, and cheeks get, culminating in a harmonious, put-together look. I absolutely love this product, and it pretty much has me covered whenever I need to be selective with my packing.
Revolution Jelly Bronze Bronzer Stick, £5.99
I am also a big fan of this new Jelly Bronze stick from Revolution, with the jelly formula feeling incredibly cooling on my skin, which is perfect when applying makeup in warmer climates. This product is also incredibly buildable, which I appreciated on holiday as it meant I could use it to create a deeper bronze on the first couple of days, before reducing it down to a subtle sun-kissed glow as my skin became more naturally tanned. In terms of space-saving, Jelly Bronze also delivers with small and lightweight packaging, and, as an added bonus, you don't even need a brush to blend the product — tapping it out with your fingers works just as well!
Revolution Superfix Hydra Cool Prep + Fix Continuous Fixing Mist, £11.99
And speaking of Revolution, the brand recently upgraded their popular setting spray to make it a summer must-have, with their Superfine Hydra Cool Mist infused with cooling properties that refresh and hydrate your skin. The spray contains both aloe vera and coconut water, with the latter providing your skin with a burst of hydration as well as a delicious coconut scent, and the aloe vera delivering soothing, anti-inflammatory properties that will feel incredible on your skin after a day in the sun — especially if you have been unlucky enough to get burnt. This setting spray was fast-absorbing and left my makeup looking dewy and refreshed without making it cakey or mottled, which means that you can safely reapply it whenever you need a cooling pick-me-up throughout the evening without having to worry about ruining your look!
KAYALI Vacay in a Bottle Miniature Set, £88
Generally speaking, I love all things Kayali, but I am particularly obsessed with their Vacay in a Bottle miniature set, which allows you to travel from Marrakesh to the Maldives on scent alone. Each of the four travel-size perfumes in the set have been inspired by chic holiday destinations, with the scents formulated to complement one another as well as smell delicious on their own. This means that you can layer all of them to create your own bespoke fragrance, or pick and choose a different one for each tripThere genuinely isn't a perfume in this set that I don't like, but my absolute favorite is Capri in a Bottle, Lemon Sugar, which smells exactly as described: like sugary lemon. It is a sweet and unique scent, with the creamy vanilla and musk base notes cutting through the tartness of the lemon and hint of raspberry. As a lover of citrus, fruity perfumes, I can't get enough of this! The note I picked up on the most in Maldives in a Bottle, Ylang Coco, is fragrant rosemary, with this perfume having a kind of herbal aroma with citrus undertones. The base notes are delectable creamy coconut milk, which has hints of vanilla, with a banana and ylang-ylang heart. Meanwhile, Marrakesh in a Bottle, Orange Blossom's, undeniable heart is Turkish rose, making it the sweetest and most floral of the four. However, undertones of pink pepper and its woody cedar base cut through to prevent this sweetness from becoming too overbearing. Finally, the strongest note I was hit with from Maui in a Bottle, Sweet Banana, is — perhaps unsurprisingly — banana, which I really enjoy as I find that banana is a pretty underused scent when it comes to fragrances. This scent is combined with notes of fresh pear, jasmine, sandalwood, and milky coconut, making it a really unique and warming perfume. All of the perfumes in the miniature set are small enough to carry in your hand luggage, and each of them are now available in individual 50ml bottles for once you have chosen your favorite!
Josh Wood Airbrush - Root Spray, £10
I also need to shout out this Airbrush Root Spray from Josh Wood, which is the perfect solution for when you notice pesky grey hairs or roots coming through while you are away. The lightweight formula is incredibly quick to use and instantly blends into your hair upon application. The coverage will last until you wash it out, which means that you can go out feeling confident and reapply every day if needed. Unlike other sprays that I have tried in the past, Airbrush didn't make my hair feel heavy or greasy, and I really appreciate the reassurance of having it to hand when on longer trips, or when I've not had a chance to get to the salon before going away.
For When You're… Getting Ready For Bed
Plenaire Rose Jelly Gentle Makeup Remover, £16
A good cleanser is always important, but when you're on holiday, looking after your skin is more vital than ever, and that is why I opt for Plenarie's Rose Jelly Gentle Makeup Remover, which is now available in a handy travel size. Not only does this cleanser quickly dissolve away makeup and all of the impurities that have built up throughout the day, the jelly texture is also incredibly soothing and cooling on your skin thanks to its gentle rosewater formula. It is also incredibly effective and seamlessly washes away makeup — including stubborn eyeliner and mascara — without you having to scrub, and it left my skin feeling refreshed, cool, and deeply hydrated. A win all round!
LANEIGE Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser, £19.50
And I hate to sound like a broken record, but hydration really is key when your skin is being exposed to high temperatures and humidity, drying chlorine, and irritating salt water, and that's why I recommend applying Laneige's Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer first thing in the morning and last thing at night all the time, but particularly on holiday. This moisturizer is a luxurious, thick cream that is designed to quench your skin with intense hydration and softness. Formulated with blue hyaluronic acid, it also visibly brightens and refines your skin for a smoother, even-toned complexion. All in all, this cream is definitely a secret weapon when it comes to maximizing that radiant holiday glow.
…And Everything Inbetween
E45 UV Protect Hand Cream, £9.99
While most people don't need encouragement when it comes to developing a skincare regimen for their face, a surprising number of people tend to completely overlook their handcare — despite hands being just as susceptible to the premature signs of aging. Personally, I rarely go anywhere without some kind of hand cream in my bag, but for holiday, I particularly love E45's UV Protect hand cream because the super moisturizing lotion provides SPF 30 sun protection as well as nourishment for dry and sensitive hands. The tried and tested E45 formula contains vitamin E and glycerin, and actively works to prevent hyperpigmentation and dark spots from sun exposure while protecting your skin from UVA and UVB. With no added fragrance, it is suitable for sensitive skin, and I love how soft it leaves my hands, and that I can rest easy in the knowledge that they are also being shielded from long-lasting damage in the process.
COSRX Master Patch Intensive, £13.99
Unfortunately, you can never exactly predict when a spot will appear, but if you are sweating more than usual in a hot country then you're probably more at risk, which is why I always like to have some acne patches to hand when on holiday in case an unsightly blemish pops up at the most inopportune moment. One of the reasons why I love COSRX Master Patch Intensive is because the patches come in three different sizes, which means that if you get a cluster of spots right next to each other, you can use a larger patch to cover them all rather than try to fit multiple patches in one spot. They are also transparent and smooth seamlessly onto the skin, making them pretty discreet. The hydrocolloid patches work by absorbing excess oil from the skin while protecting the spot from bacteria and picking. They are also infused with tea tree oil, which helps to soothe the skin and reduce the appearance of redness for a clearer complexion. I have used these patches a few times in recent weeks, and each time I have been left impressed by how much they have reduced the appearance of my spots overnight, and the lightweight packaging makes them super easy to keep on you wherever you go!
Boots' Holiday Bundles, £20
Boots recently discovered that while 76% of people would find a packing list helpful when going on holiday, only 28% of people make one every time, and that is why they decided to step up and put together some seriously helpful, ready-to-go bundles that ensure you have all of the most important items when going away — and you can save a few pounds in the process, too. The bundles are £20 each and consist of five to seven products, and I have to admit that I am really impressed by the attention to detail here. The Boots Beach Holiday Bundle consists of an SPF 30 Soltan suncream, Soltan Aftersun lotion, SPF+ moisturizing lip balm, an insect repellent spray, and even a very exciting Beach Powder that helps get sand off your body after a day at the seaside. Oh, and buying this bundle will save you £7.99 compared to buying each item individually.
But if your holidays are a little more adventurous than just lying around on a beach, don't worry, Boots have you covered with their Adventure Holiday Bundle! This one has an impressive saving of £10.53 compared to buying each of the items individually, and contains Boots' own brand Freeze Gel for muscle aches and pains, Re-Energise tablets, a Soltan Active 8 Hour Protect Suncare Stick, blister prevention tape, blister plasters, and an insect repellent spray. Now you have absolutely no excuse for forgetting the core essentials!
And Finally, For When You… Get Home
Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector Pre-Shampoo Strengthening and Reparative Hair Treatment, £28
I have to admit that Olaplex's No.3 hair perfecter is a self-care go-to all year round, but this strengthening and reparative treatment is more appropriate than ever after a holiday in the sun, sea, and sand. I really recommend using this pre-shampoo mask once you get back home to restore any of the damage that has been caused by the UV rays, chlorine, and saltwater, with the formula's bond-building technology working to visibly hydrate and smooth your hair, making it stronger and more resilient with a satin-like shine. I try to use this product once a week as I love how nourished and glossy it makes my hair feel, and I always reach for it as soon as I get home from a trip away to get my locks back to their best as quickly as possible.
Institut Esthederm Tan-Prolonging After Sun Body Lotion, £44
And finally, I love this Tan-Prolonging After Sun Body Lotion from Institut Esthederm, which covers all eventualities with a formula that has been specially created to both nourish a tan and soothe a sunburn.Yep, this lotion has every kind of sun exposure in mind, and is deeply moisturizing to prolong the life of your sun tan, while soothing and calming properties make this product a game changer for sunburn, too, as it actively works to normalize your skin's reactivity after being exposed to UV rays. I applied this lotion every day to maintain my natural tan after a holiday, and have been thoroughly impressed with how smooth, hydrated, and bronze it has kept me ever since!
Happy packing!

32 Things For The Smartest Shopper In The Friend Group

An eight-compartment pill organizer so you can ditch the bulky bottles for something that's way easier to slip in your pocket. You'll also be the hero of your travel group when anybody has a sudden headache. A ridiculously beautiful Touchland Power Mist hydrating hand sanitizer that looks so chic you'll be tempted to plan your entire outfit around it. "Does anyone have any hand sanitizer?" one of your woefully unprepared friends asks. "Oh, I do" you nonchalantly say as you casually blow their mind with the most ~aesthetic~ hand sani they've ever seen. Once they realize it's hydrating and smells delightful, you might not get it back. And a pack of antibacterial paper soap sheets — it'll seriously come in handy when the public restroom you're using is out of that mysterious pink sludge they call soap. Just pull out a sheet, wet it, then get to lathering. "Seriously, is there any scenario you're unprepared for?!" — your friends, probably. A set of hair-tie bracelets that look like a chic accessory at first glance but are actually your secret weapon for whipping your hair up into a flawless pony at a moment's notice. The boho-chic designs will match basically all of your summer 'fits, and your hair will appreciate the super smooth and stretchy nylon. A travel brush with a hidden compartment, which is one of those "seriously, where has this been my entire life?" kind of inventions. The surprisingly spacious compartment slides out so you can store your hair ties, lip balm, bobby pins, mini perfume, or even an extra pair of earrings. This is basically Mary Poppins' purse in hairbrush form. Also, your goal of traveling with just a carry-on is about to be SO much easier. A 🚨 limited edition 🚨 Eos Marshmallow "Super Balm" lip treatment from the brand's "secret menu" that's simply way too good to gatekeep. Imagine a vanilla bean Frappuccino with a pump of marshmallow syrup — that's exactly what this creamy lip balm smells like!! It's also super smoothing thanks to the cocoa, avocado, and shea butters — and one reviewer even said it's better than Laneige and Summer Fridays. 👀 Or a Lip Smacker Rolly Lip Gloss that will make your pals green with envy when they only have the tiny unscented lip balm they got from the dentist. The flavors and retro-chic packaging will transport you back to the days of fighting over Backstreet Bosy vs N*Sync — and the reviewers say the cooling formula is surprisingly moisturizing. Hawaiian Tropic's SPF 30 Mineral Powder Sunscreen Brush — it looks at competitors like the $35 Supergoop and $36 Brush On Block and shouts, "WHY ARE YOU SO EXPENSIVE?!" The powder formula makes it super easy to touch up your sun protection throughout the day. However, the real jaw-dropping feature is that it applies perfectly to your scalp — yes, your scalp needs SPF, too! And an Abib Airy SPF 50+ Sunstick Smoothing Bar, which is a popular K-beauty pick with a unique curved design that practically hugs your cheekbones as you glide it on. It's also perfect for precisely gliding along your hairline or the sides of your nose, and the semi-matte formula will keep you glowy without looking like a disco ball. A set of espresso martini instant cocktail tea bags — they may look like regular ol' tea bags, but they're actually your secret to making you and your friends some super affordable cocktails. Just dunk the bag into 3.5 ounces of water, add 1.5 ounces of vodka or tequila (or just do a Sandra Lee pour if it's that kind of night), wait for the contents to dissolve, and drink up! Your friends will be so relieved they don't have to drop $20+ on one drink tonight. A set of limited edition wildflower Band-Aids so even your boo-boos will be super cute and match all the sundresses you bought for summer. Or! If you scrape your knee while gardening, these floral cuties will keep the happy vibes going. And a compact but super helpful first-aid kit — you'll be prepared for any boo-boos that threaten to ruin the vacay you've been waiting all summer for. Just imagine: You're walking on the boardwalk during your beach getaway, then someone in your party trips and scrapes their knee. "Ow! I really wish I had an alcohol wipe, some Neosporin, and a bandage!" they exclaim in pain. That's when you swoop in and dethrone Superman as the ultimate hero of summer 2025. Kitsch's flat claw clip so you can show your friends that they no longer have to put up with the flimsy, cheap hair accessories they've settled for. This sleek clip holds a surprising amount of hair with ease, and reviewers say it's super durable. The flat design also means the claws won't dig into your head, so you won't have to take it off when you lean your head back on a headrest! Dramamine in a ridiculously compact bottle that is perfect for slipping in your carry-on, personal bag, or even your pocket. And this is the "less drowsy" version, so you won't have to choose between falling asleep or nausea. Just take at least a half-hour before traveling (but no longer than an hour before) and it'll help alleviate nausea, dizziness, motion sickness, and vomiting. Or a teensy 2-in-1 nausea relief inhaler to help lessen nausea, morning sickness, motion sickness, and general queasiness. It's non-medicated and won't make you drowsy, so you can use it any time — just use the inhaler side two to three times per use, or flip it over to the oil-rub applicator if you want to apply it directly under your nose. A sophisticated leakproof laptop lunch tote with a super secret, built-in insulated lunch compartment that'll keep your Diet Cokes crispy and your sandwich lightly chilled. This is some real Totally Spies-level innovation right here. And don't worry, the actual tote is still very spacious and has enough room for the essentials and not-so-essentials. Or a Simple Modern rubber tote bag that dares to ask the question, "What if the Bogg Bag wasn't nearly $100?" The answer is this waterproof, durable design that's ridiculously easy to clean, so it's bound to become your go-to beach bag, workout bag, picnic bag... you get the gist. There's even a detachable zipper pocket for your phone or other small items you want easy access to. No more getting bogged down with expensive, trendy bags, amirite?! I'll see myself out. Or!! An effortlessly chic woven straw summer clutch if you want to signal to your friends that you've entered your minimalist era, but you still need your lip gloss and portable charger at arm's reach at all times. It also looks way more expensive than it is, so you'll get a kick out of telling them it was under $20. A smooth edge can opener — a helpful gadget and cool party trick in one! This can remove the entire top of most drink cans, meaning you can spruce up your bev with ice, syrups, or fresh fruit without having to dirty an extra glass. Imagine sipping a wild berry Poppi (the best flavor, FYI) with actual blueberries floating in your can. 😭 An auto-open (and auto-close!) umbrella with thousands upon thousands of rave reviews. Yes, you read that right. How does a meager umbrella have that many fans? Many of them say this is truly windproof — meaning it won't flip inside out when a heavy gust of wind blows your way and embarrass you in front of the besties. They would NEVER let that go. An ultra-slim portable charger for all of us who have an irrational fear of our phone dying at the WORST possible moment. Can you imagine getting lost or having two hours left of your flight when you get that "10% battery" warning?! This has a 10,000 mAh battery, which should be enough to power up most smartphones more than once per charge, so feel free to share some power with your whole group! A slim and super discreet travel bottle of Poo-Pourri because rumor has it you're going to end up banned from Chili's if you stink up the bathroom one more time. Sorry, I know how much you love a Triple Dipper 😔. Luckily, this exists and is super easy to carry around — just give the water three to five spritzes before you go! The super popular Bug Bite Thing, which uses the simple power of suction to alleviate the post-bite itching and swelling from the adorable but vicious bumblebee that attacked you during a picnic while you were distracted by an equally cute butterfly that landed on a sunflower (I think they may have been working together). It works on everything from mosquito bites to wasp stings, so you'll probably want this in your pocket any time you leave the house this summer. A travel case of mint dental flossers because it's honestly impossible to live in the moment and create long-lasting memories when you have a piece of spinach stuck in your teeth. This compact case comes with 12 floss picks, and it's easily refillable! A set of 10 retractable Crayola markers — wait, how long have these been a thing?! Do you know how many markers child-me had to toss because the cap went rolling under the stove, never to be seen again?! Well, now you and the crew can finally do those arts and crafts nights you've been talking about without searching for lost caps at the end of the night. A set of Lock Laces to turn all of your sneakers into slip-ons, which is the height of convenience and also super helpful for people with limited motor skills. Now you can just slip your shoes on, pull the toggle cord to your preferred tightness, and watch your friends marvel at how fast you get ready. A pomade hair wax stick — it'll be a major timesaver on those days when you want to smooth down flyaways, cowlicks, or set baby hairs into place. Just swipe it over any targeted areas you want to smooth, and it'll provide some seriously strong hold without any sticky residue. Prepare to share the Amazon link to everyone you hang out with. A glasses lens cleaner so you finally say goodbye to those microfiber cloths and disposable wipes that just seem to smear the dirt and oil all over your lenses. This little tool has a small brush on one side to wipe away dirt and dust, while the microfiber pads on the other side will wipe away oils for a streak-free finish without scratching your lenses. Go ahead and pass this down the aisle on your next movie night. A travel-friendly version of the iconic Tangle Teezer that'll hardly take up any room in your already-crowded bag. Reviewers say it works the same detangling magic as the full-size version (that's thanks to the two-tiered teeth design that detangles and smooths at the same time), and it's so much better than those flimsy travel flip brushes that brush approximately two strands at a time. Although, prepare for your friends to call you Rapunzel for brushing your hair all day, every day. A pack of Neutrogena makeup remover towelettes so you can easily refresh your skin while you're gallivanting about. When your bestie's mascara starts to run after a fit of uncontrollable laughter, they'll be so glad you threw a couple of these in your bag. And now you'll know to get them some waterproof mascara for their birthday. A reusable gel lint roller that's a major upgrade from the traditional sticky rolls that require approximately 10 sheets just to clean one shirt. Just pop open the cover and roll it over any garments that need a good sprucing up, then give it a quick rinse, and it'll be ready to use again! If you have a dog that likes to shower your friends with hugs upon arrival, keep this by the door so they don't have to wear their fur all day. A universal travel adapter you can use in over 160 countries — because nothing is more annoying than realizing you forgot to bring the right adapter. You can use it to charge up several devices at a time, so you and the crew can power up your phones at the same time.

Travel Beauty Must-Haves, Holiday Gifts For Her

For When You're… On The Plane Smug's Contoured 3D Blackout Sleep Mask, £15, and Memory Foam Earplugs, £5 If you are flying for more than a couple of hours, then you're going to need a few things to make the journey a little more comfortable, and earplugs and a sleep mask are always essentials for me. Glow Recipe Lip Glass Balm Treatment for Shine and Hydration, £19.00 In addition to being noisy and generally unpleasant, flights are renowned for how drying they are on your skin, particularly your face, which is why I always love to have a good lip balm to hand for regular application throughout the if you have Glow Recipe's recently-launched Lip Glass Balm Treatment in your hand luggage, then you don't need to worry about reapplying all the time, as each application delivers an impressive 12 hours of shine and hydration. LANEIGE Cream Skin Cerapeptide Mist, £10 And speaking of airplanes drying you out, I can't remember the last time I flew without a refreshing skin mist to hand, and I'm obsessed with this Cream Skin Cerapeptide Mist from are perfect for waking up your skin (and yourself) during a long journey, but this one has the added skincare benefits of actively working to protect your barrier with a firming formula that will also boost your skin's elasticity and radiance with regular use. And, as with all things Laneige, it is incredibly hydrating, making it the perfect secret weapon to combat that unpleasant plane air. For When You... Land Plenaire Skin Frosting Deeply Hydrating Mask, £18 While I personally don't love the idea of doing a full skincare routine and/ or face mask on an airplane (by the way, many skincare specialists actively advise against this!), I do love nothing more than having a face mask to put on straight after a flight, which is why I was overjoyed to see that Plenaire now do their iconic Skin Frosting mask in a handy travel Frosting is perfect for travel because it is specifically formulated to be as deeply hydrating as possible, with raw coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, and Japanese tsubaki (camellia oil) all coming together to create an incredibly nourishing formula that will help your skin recover from exposure to drying conditions while simultaneously working to boost your skin's elasticity and moisture retention. For When You're… Sunbathing At The Pool Or Beach Revolution Skin Sunray Glow Daily Protection Sunscreen SPF 50+ with Vitamin C and Revolution Skin Sunray Blur Daily Protection Sunscreen SPF 50+ with Niacinamide, £12 In case you didn't know, Revolution recently launched not one but two daily protection sunscreens that are specially formulated to enhance the appearance of your skin while giving it important protection from the sun's harmful UV rays. Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance Body Spray SPF 50, £36 But, of course, it's not just our face that needs protecting, and Sol de Janeiro has really come through with their Rio Radiance Body Spray SPF 50, which — as you can probably imagine — smells absolutely incredible in addition to being super practical. Philip Kingsley Swimcap, £25 And before you dive into the pool or go for a dip in the sea, you might want to apply your Swimcap, a water-resistant mask from Philip Kingsley that is designed to be worn while swimming or sunbathing to protect your hair from the damaging effects of UV rays, salt water, and formula is made with castor oil and olive oil, which help to lock in moisture and boost shine, as well as hydrolyzed elastin, which strengthens your hair's body and elasticity, reducing breakage... Going Out In The Evening Trinny London Trinity Lip, Cheek, and Eye Makeup Stick, £36 And after your day in the sun, you'll probably want to get ready for a nice evening out, and there are some brilliant makeup products to make that process as easy as possible for you, starting with this Trinity Lip, Cheek, and Eye Makeup Stick from Trinny London.I don't know about you, but I regularly travel with just the free under-seat luggage that you get on budget airlines, which means that I need to streamline my packing as much as possible, so this multi-use stick is a total godsend when it comes to packing just one dual-ended product, you have makeup for your eyes, lips, and cheeks covered, with Trinity available in three shades that are created with complementary colors in mind; one glow, and one creamy York, which is the one that I have, comes with a rose gold glow and a terracotta brown, Mustique has a sunset bronze glow with fresh petal pink, and Venice combines a golden pink glow with a soft dusky rose. Each color is easy to blend and incredibly buildable, meaning that you have full control over how much depth your eyes, lips, and cheeks get, culminating in a harmonious, put-together look. I absolutely love this product, and it pretty much has me covered whenever I need to be selective with my packing. Revolution Jelly Bronze Bronzer Stick, £5.99 I am also a big fan of this new Jelly Bronze stick from Revolution, with the jelly formula feeling incredibly cooling on my skin, which is perfect when applying makeup in warmer climates. Revolution Superfix Hydra Cool Prep + Fix Continuous Fixing Mist, £11.99 And speaking of Revolution, the brand recently upgraded their popular setting spray to make it a summer must-have, with their Superfine Hydra Cool Mist infused with cooling properties that refresh and hydrate your spray contains both aloe vera and coconut water, with the latter providing your skin with a burst of hydration as well as a delicious coconut scent, and the aloe vera delivering soothing, anti-inflammatory properties that will feel incredible on your skin after a day in the sun — especially if you have been unlucky enough to get setting spray was fast-absorbing and left my makeup looking dewy and refreshed without making it cakey or mottled, which means that you can safely reapply it whenever you need a cooling pick-me-up throughout the evening without having to worry about ruining your look! KAYALI Vacay in a Bottle Miniature Set, £88 Generally speaking, I love all things Kayali, but I am particularly obsessed with their Vacay in a Bottle miniature set, which allows you to travel from Marrakesh to the Maldives on scent alone. Josh Wood Airbrush - Root Spray, £10 I also need to shout out this Airbrush Root Spray from Josh Wood, which is the perfect solution for when you notice pesky grey hairs or roots coming through while you are away. For When You're… Getting Ready For Bed Plenaire Rose Jelly Gentle Makeup Remover, £16 A good cleanser is always important, but when you're on holiday, looking after your skin is more vital than ever, and that is why I opt for Plenarie's Rose Jelly Gentle Makeup Remover, which is now available in a handy travel size. Not only does this cleanser quickly dissolve away makeup and all of the impurities that have built up throughout the day, the jelly texture is also incredibly soothing and cooling on your skin thanks to its gentle rosewater is also incredibly effective and seamlessly washes away makeup — including stubborn eyeliner and mascara — without you having to scrub, and it left my skin feeling refreshed, cool, and deeply hydrated. A win all round! LANEIGE Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser, £19.50 And I hate to sound like a broken record, but hydration really is key when your skin is being exposed to high temperatures and humidity, drying chlorine, and irritating salt water, and that's why I recommend applying Laneige's Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer first thing in the morning and last thing at night all the time, but particularly on holiday. …And Everything Inbetween E45 UV Protect Hand Cream, £9.99 While most people don't need encouragement when it comes to developing a skincare regimen for their face, a surprising number of people tend to completely overlook their handcare — despite hands being just as susceptible to the premature signs of aging. COSRX Master Patch Intensive, £13.99 Unfortunately, you can never exactly predict when a spot will appear, but if you are sweating more than usual in a hot country then you're probably more at risk, which is why I always like to have some acne patches to hand when on holiday in case an unsightly blemish pops up at the most inopportune of the reasons why I love COSRX Master Patch Intensive is because the patches come in three different sizes, which means that if you get a cluster of spots right next to each other, you can use a larger patch to cover them all rather than try to fit multiple patches in one spot. Boots' Holiday Bundles, £20 Boots recently discovered that while 76% of people would find a packing list helpful when going on holiday, only 28% of people make one every time, and that is why they decided to step up and put together some seriously helpful, ready-to-go bundles that ensure you have all of the most important items when going away — and you can save a few pounds in the process, too. The bundles are £20 each and consist of five to seven products, and I have to admit that I am really impressed by the attention to detail Boots Beach Holiday Bundle consists of an SPF 30 Soltan suncream, Soltan Aftersun lotion, SPF+ moisturizing lip balm, an insect repellent spray, and even a very exciting Beach Powder that helps get sand off your body after a day at the seaside. Oh, and buying this bundle will save you £7.99 compared to buying each item individually. But if your holidays are a little more adventurous than just lying around on a beach, don't worry, Boots have you covered with their Adventure Holiday Bundle! This one has an impressive saving of £10.53 compared to buying each of the items individually, and contains Boots' own brand Freeze Gel for muscle aches and pains, Re-Energise tablets, a Soltan Active 8 Hour Protect Suncare Stick, blister prevention tape, blister plasters, and an insect repellent you have absolutely no excuse for forgetting the core essentials! And Finally, For When You… Get Home Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector Pre-Shampoo Strengthening and Reparative Hair Treatment, £28 I have to admit that Olaplex's No.3 hair perfecter is a self-care go-to all year round, but this strengthening and reparative treatment is more appropriate than ever after a holiday in the sun, sea, and sand. Institut Esthederm Tan-Prolonging After Sun Body Lotion, £44 And finally, I love this Tan-Prolonging After Sun Body Lotion from Institut Esthederm, which covers all eventualities with a formula that has been specially created to both nourish a tan and soothe a this lotion has every kind of sun exposure in mind, and is deeply moisturizing to prolong the life of your sun tan, while soothing and calming properties make this product a game changer for sunburn, too, as it actively works to normalize your skin's reactivity after being exposed to UV rays. I applied this lotion every day to maintain my natural tan after a holiday, and have been thoroughly impressed with how smooth, hydrated, and bronze it has kept me ever since! Happy packing!

Shopping · "Coochy" shaving cream, a stink blocking balm, and flat claw clips so you can rest your head — if these products are at the end of the witches' road, then someone give me Agatha Harkness' number. 1. A hair identifier spray that'll make dermaplaning a whole lot easier. You may also be mortified that you have so much peach fuzz you never knew was there, but at least you'll no longer *over* shave or miss a spot. Plus, it'll help keep your skin moisturized and protected while you shave. It comes with four dermaplaning razors. Promising review:"The power of the hair identifier's spray is unmatchable. Once you spray in any direction that has hair, it automatically identifies the hair that needs to be removed. It is easily sprayed on and easily wiped off. No extra residue. Comes with four blades, and I say these blades are soft, gentle, and get the job done. Not sure why no one ever thought of coming up with a hair identifier spray. Great value and smells like baby powder. Great quality." — Karine Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in different multipacks). 2. You can charge it at home or in the car and use it anywhere. Simply switch the direction of the curl." — ✅Maya Acosta✅ "I have thin hair, and keeping a curl is hard. I had previously bought a Dyson Airwarp and felt like this would solve my problems. I watched all the tutorials and invested $100 more in combs, hair clips, and hair products — as per the tutorials, but nothing worked. I ended up returning it and calling it a day. A couple of days ago, I saw this on Instagram, and I immediately went to Amazon to buy it — I use the Tymo straightener and swear by it, so I thought this could work, and boy, it did! A car visor extender for us shorties because pulling the car visor down alone DOESN'T DO A DARN THING TO BLOCK THE SUN. IDK about you, but I've considered a booster seat a few times. Well, I guess, no need for that with this magical little heaven sent baby available, huh? Promising review:"Driving to and from work has been a pain lately, even with sunglasses on. Being short, my regular car visor was not shielding the low sun. This shield cuts the glaring rays without inhibiting my vision. I've made all kinds of things in this pan (mostly eggs), but I have made mini frittatas with fresh veggies, I've made perfect sunny side up, over easy, over medium, and well done eggs. I've cooked burgers in this, a variety of pancake types, bacon bits, and chorizo. This pan cooks perfectly on medium-low. It is so easy to clean. The pen makes application easy, and I love the subtle scent (hard to describe but undeniably delicious!) My nails feel strong and healthy, and it's also helped with growth. When opening the pen for the first time, make sure to click carefully. I got impatient and started unscrewing it, which caused oil to spill everywhere! That was definitely my fault though, just remember to be patient when clicking the pen for the first time. Overall a 10/10 product, would recommend!" — Liah Get it from Amazon for $8.99 (available in six scents). 8. It sticks well and I didn't feel any peeling or slipping the entire time, which allowed me to keep my focus entirely on the wedding! The lift it creates with the pull strings was really nice as well. I danced my butt off at the Eras tour in this top and not a nip slip to be had. 1000/10, buy it!!!" — Skyler Howard "I wore a VERY deep plunge dress that would have had my boob fall out with any arm movement, so I used just two pieces of this tape — one on each breast, and it worked like magic. It's packed with everything you'd find in a Sanderson potion like frankincense, arnica, castor oil, and other magical ingredients that'll help ease your skin irritations quick. Promising review:"Okay. Maybe TMI, but I get a lot of bumps on my body — be they ingrown hairs, reactions to new products, whatever. I had a boil, cyst, idk? — on my armpit, and nothing would help it drain until I tried this stuff like magic. Put it on at night since it should not be used under a bandage per instructions, but maybe be aware that you might bleed if you have a boil, bite, or something else blood-filled that needs to pop. Recently, I had a badly inflamed ingrown hair on my leg. I could seriously barely walk. I was sobbing uncontrollably in pain. I had tried Neosporin with pain relief, lidocaine ointment, you name it. Nothing was helping. It was days before my wedding, and I seriously didn't think I could walk down the aisle in the state I was in. My fiancé remembered I had this little gem in the bathroom and suggested I try it. I was desperate and in excruciating pain, so I figured, why not? Woke up the next morning with blood all over my leg, inside my pants, etc, but the bump(s) had drained, and I could walk again. This stuff literally saved my wedding." — Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $11.88+ (available in two sizes and in multipacks). 13. A 72-pack of Marée pimple patches that's packed with hydrocolloid, salicylic acid, tea tree oil, and centella asiatica (not a Sabrina the Teenage witch spell, I swear) to help draw out impurities and pus, and shrink your annoying zits. Plus, they come in the most *adorable shapes*. I never understood the hype around pimple patches until I tried these. These are hands down, without a doubt, the BEST acne patches I've ever tried. I don't break out often (thanks to my very complex morning and night skincare routine) *but* I do get the occasional zit when I get my period. I've had a sample of these sitting in my skincare drawer since the summer and have never touched them because I've tried so many patches from other brands and hated them. I'm not a wild sleeper at all, but ones from other brands always ended up on my pillow, in my hair — everywhere but staying on the pimple on my face, so they never really worked cuz they wouldn't stay on! I was rummaging through my skincare products looking for my Solawave when I saw these. I had a huge zit on my jawline that I was extremely tempted to pop and pick at so I thought *what the heck, let me try these*. These are magic! I put it on at night and woke up with it still on the zit *and* the pimple had vanished. I was so shook because I really was not expecting these to work. The Pink Stuff with the sponge does wonders! We have a hideous 30-year-old shower, and although it doesn't look brand new like I was hoping, it's ten times better!! This product really does work!" — GreenGoddess Get the set (one Pink Stuff jar and a "Sqeezy") from Amazon for $9.99. 18. A vented paddle brush by Cécred *with* a hook so you can hang it up and make some room in your hair tools drawer. It's perfect for both wet and dry hair detangling because the flexible bristles gently glide through your locks. This thing is like a magic wand for tangles. Cécred Okay, so we all know that I *swear* by these products. I haven't tried anything by Cécred that didn't work magic. *Hits a Galinda high note*, okay, I'm frantically excited. This is the absolute best brush I've ever used. I'm confused as to how it works so dang well. I braid my curly hair up at night into two French braids, so I tested this on my wet hair last night, and it glided through my tangles with ease and without snagging. Plus the brush didn't retain all the water in my hair because of the honeycomb design. I just took the braids out and used it again now that my hair is dry, and I had zero problems getting it to brush through. My favorite thing though is how easy it is to clean. I have dyed red hair which has stained my other brushes, so I was worried that this brush would be totally ruined by my hair dye. BUT, to my surprise, the dye residue or whatever came right off, literally with my fingers. I really love this brush. I also love that I can hang it up because my haircare drawer is filled to the brim. This brush is so worth it. Get it from Cécred for $40. 19. Promising review:"I got my Ninja Crisper today and reheated some stuffed bread with feta cheese and spinach, and it did a wonderful job. I t was like it just came out of the oven for the first time. Nice and crispy outside, but the inside heated just right. I love that the bottom glass can be covered with the lid it comes with. They come with a metal plate you can put in the glass bottom part, and it actually fits into the lid, so it doesn't get lost. The glass makes a difference in the taste, too. An Xmondo color depositing hair mask by Brad Mondo to keep your hair color looking oh so fresh. If you hate when your bold, vibrant hair starts to look all dull, but don't wanna dye it and cause damage every other month, this is def the holy grail product you've been searching for. It helps lock in water molecules to retain moisture and restores damaged fibers to strengthen dry hair, all while taking your faded mane and making it look freshly dyed again. Promising review:"Wow, color me impressed! I was hesitant to buy this because, most of the time, anytime a celeb or influencer comes out with their own line of anything, it's mediocre nonsense. But I was swayed after reading the reviews. I had grey hair in the past and used Overtone and another big brand name that you can get at Ulta (I can't remember the brand), and they did an okay job at helping me keep the grey in between salon toner visits. I just recently went back to grey again, and this time, I thought I'd try this one to help between salon visits. Applying it was easy, and I left it on for 20 minutes. As soon as I started washing it out, I was EXTREMELY surprised by just how darn soft my hair was! It's not lying when it calls itself a mask because it rivaled my other hair masks in my bathroom. Better than my Sol de Janeiro mask and better than my Coco & Eve mask. I also noticed that it wasn't straining my bathtub or tiles nor making a big purple mess, which was not the case in the past with other purple 'pigment depositing' grey hair masks. Overall, I'm SO pleased! Brad really pulled it off. Not only is the color output very much like it advertises it will give, but it's not lying when it says it's a nourishing hair mask. Cheers to Brad Mondo!" — Dana Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in 18 shades). 23. A pillow-shaking alarm clock that'll literally shake you outta bed. Promising review: "This alarm is amazing. The pillow shaker does its job to perfection. The shaker shakes the pillow just right so you don't wake up startled. The loud alarm is loud enough. I wear a hearing aid to hear everything, and the loud alarm is loud enough that I can hear it without my hearing aid. Must-have for someone with hearing issues so you wake up on time every time." — Scott D. Get it from Amazon for $41.99 (available in seven colors). 24. The tone of my face is much more even and the dark circles around my eyes have nearly disappeared. Essentially, it's like a mix of a jade roller (which I already love using anyway) and an LED mask in microcurrent/vibration therapy, too. You can apply the specific Solawave activating serum or any conductive gel of your choice (I use a different one, myself!) and it will really absorb the benefits when used with the wand. And if you also wish you had a portable dryer, you can check out this one by the same brand! It comes with a "quick connect" for standard faucet sizes, but if it doesn't fit your sink, you'll need to buy an adapter. Watch the video on the listing for details about installation! Promising review:"This is hands down one of the best purchases I've made for my NYC apartment. We have laundry in the building, but it is a hassle to have to go, find an available machine, and have to wait there while the washing is getting done. Who has time for that in NYC?! I purchased this is July, it is now the end of October and if it broke down today it would still be worth the price. I got the largest one because two active grown men live in this apartment, and we have a dog who sheds EVERYWHERE so I'm probably doing 8–10 loads per week. No issues yet at all. The noise level on this thing is very manageable; if you are in another room, you won't even hear it. It is the loudest in its spin cycle, but nothing too bad. The only hassle for me is that we have an attached water filter on our faucet, so we have to detach that filter and attach this every time we use it. The process takes maybe 1–2 minutes, so it's not a deal breaker at all. I've been able to wash everything in this — our clothes, bath mats, towels, sheets, duvet covers, etc. When it's something heavier (such as bath mats), I wash them on their own to avoid very heavy loads. Overall, I'm VERY happy with this product. Everyone knows finding good housing in NYC is a miracle, and often, the luxury of a washer is something that is not possible. This is a game changer for that." — Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $259.99+ (available in three sizes).
