Donald Trump On His Relationship With Elon Musk: 'Don't Know If It Will Continue...'
Last Updated:
Elon Musk publicly condemned Donald Trump's $4 trillion spending and tax bill- sparking a rift between the two high-profile figures.
US President Donald Trump expressed uncertainty about his relationship with Elon Musk after the billionaire entrepreneur publicly condemned White House' $4 trillion spending and tax bill. The Tesla boss took to X (formerly Twitter) to call on Americans to contact their lawmakers, writing, 'Call your Senator, Call your Congressman, Bankrupting America is NOT ok! KILL the BILL."
Responding to Elon Musk's sharp criticism, Donald Trump said, 'Look, Elon and I had a great relationship. I don't know if we will anymore. I was surprised."
The US President said that Elon Musk's issues with the bill were limited to its electric vehicle mandate and insisted that the entrepreneur was fully aware of its contents. Donald Trump said, 'He knew every aspect of this bill. And he never had a problem until right after he left…I'm very disappointed with Elon. I helped him a lot."
Elon Musk Reacts To Donald Trump's Remarks
Elon Musk, who until last week served as a close advisor to Donald Trump as he led the White House's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), labeled the bill an 'abomination," sparking a rift between the two high-profile figures.
Disputing Donald Trump's remarks, Elon Musk said, 'False, this bill was never shown to me even once and was passed in the dead of night so fast that almost no one in Congress could even read it!"
After his 129-day stint as a 'special government employee" tasked with cutting wasteful federal spending, Elon Musk condemned the bill, saying, 'Keep the EV/solar incentive cuts in the bill, even though no oil & gas subsidies are touched (very unfair!!), but ditch the MOUNTAIN of DISGUSTING PORK in the bill. In the entire history of civilization, there has never been legislation that [is] both big and beautiful. Everyone knows this!"
Elon Musk Said Bill Will 'Massively Increase Deficit'
Earlier this week, Elon Musk warned, 'America is in the fast lane to debt slavery. A new spending bill should be drafted that doesn't massively grow the deficit and increase the debt ceiling by 5 TRILLION DOLLARS."
In another post, he said, 'This spending Bill contains the largest increase in the debt ceiling in US history! It is the Debt Slavery Bill."
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO previously expressed disappointment at the bill's financial impact, saying it could 'massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion."

Amid Elon Musk's claims about Donald Trump in Epstein files, journalist adds fuel to the fire with explosive allegations
Elon Musk and Donald Trump, once seen as allies, are now fighting openly. Musk earlier posted a strong message on his platform X (formerly Twitter). He claimed the US president is linked to the secret Epstein files. That's the reason why the files haven't been made public, he alleged. Musk gave no proof but said the truth would come out in time. 'Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!' Must wrote in his now-deleted tweet. This shocking post is believed to have ended their friendship. Experts in Washington and Silicon Valley feel that any chance of peace between the two is now gone. Musk's message hinted that the government was hiding Trump's possible connection to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted paedophile. Jeffrey Epstein was a rich American businessman who had close ties with powerful people. He was first jailed in 2008 for using a minor for sex. However, he got a very light punishment, which caused public anger. In 2019, he was arrested again for running a sex trafficking network of underage girls. The wealthy business tycoon died in jail before the trial. His death was ruled a suicide, but many think he was murdered to hide secrets According to Daily Mail's US correspondent Tom Leonard, Donald Trump knew Jeffrey Epstein even though he once claimed otherwise. They were part of the same wealthy social group in Florida from the late 1980s until 2004 when they had a major fight over property. Trump, like Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton, has been named in legal documents linked to Epstein's long history of sexual abuse. Before his re-election in 2024, Trump said he had no issue releasing the remaining Epstein Files from the FBI's investigation. Although there's no proof Trump was involved in Epstein's crimes, his name still appears in many ongoing conspiracy theories, Leonard added. After Elon Musk posted about Donald Trump being linked to Epstein, many of his followers on X began sharing old clips and reports of the two together. Musk even retweeted a few. One of them shows a 1992 video showing Trump and Epstein at Mar-a-Lago, laughing and pointing at cheerleaders. In another clip from 2002, Trump praises Epstein as 'terrific' and said he liked young women. US journalist Michael Wolff added fuel to the ongoing allegations, claiming he had seen photos of Trump and Epstein with 'topless girls of an uncertain age sitting on Trump's lap'. One image reportedly shows Trump with a stain on his trousers while the women laugh and point. Wolff believes these pictures were in Epstein's safe, which the FBI seized in 2019. Nevertheless, Trump's team denied Wolff's claims, calling him a 'disgraced writer'.

Donald Trump vs Elon Musk: Can the Tesla boss be deported? POTUS ally's demands fuels big ugly breakup
Donald Trump vs Elon Musk: As the big ugly breakup of bromance between Donald Trump and his 'first buddy' Elon Musk continues to brew further, former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has now said that the Trump administration should investigate the Tesla 'illegal alien's' immigration status and deport the billionaire. Question is, can Elon Musk be actually deported by the Trump administration? Elon Musk, born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1971, became a US citizen in 2002 after completing the naturalization process, through the naturalisation process after several years of living and working in the country. As per the Immigration and Nationality Act under US law, citizenship gained through naturalisation can be revoked if it was "procured by concealment of a material fact or by willful misrepresentation." Before settling in the United States, Musk moved to Canada in 1989 and later arrived in the US in 1992 to study at the University of Pennsylvania. What once started as a 'big, beautiful' bromance between Donald Trump and Elon Musk ended in a public feud that escalated to a point of no possible return after the Tesla CEO called for Trump to be impeached, and described what the president called his "Big Beautiful [spending] Bill" as 'The Big Ugly Bill'. With the ongoing tussle, Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist, told The New York Times: 'They should initiate a formal investigation of his immigration status because I am of the strong belief that he is an illegal alien, and he should be deported from the country immediately." Steve Bannon's demands for deporting Elon Musk also comes amid the Trump administration's crackdown on illegal immigrants in the US. Last year, October, The Washington Post published a report alleging that Elon Musk "worked illegally in the United States" by founding a company in 1995 while on a student visa—despite never enrolling at Stanford University, as he had claimed. The article cited a 2005 email, disclosed during a defamation lawsuit, in which Musk reportedly admitted he applied to Stanford solely because he had 'no legal right to stay in the country.' In an interview with Wired, Cornell Law School immigration expert Professor Stephen Yale-Loehr explained that if the allegations of Musk working illegally while on a student visa are accurate, there could be strong legal grounds to revoke his citizenship. He noted that had Musk disclosed the truth, he likely wouldn't have qualified for an H-1B visa, permanent residency, or eventual naturalisation. Similarly, Amanda Frost, a legal scholar at the University of Virginia, pointed out : 'If a noncitizen violated the terms of a nonimmigrant visa, and then adjusted to immigrant (green card) status without admitting the violation, and then naturalized without admitting the violation, that person could be denaturalized on the ground that their naturalization was 'illegally procured.'

World's richest Muslim ever was much wealthier than Mukesh Ambani, Elon Musk, Adani, Tata, went to Mecca with gold worth…, name was... With a net worth of Rs $335B, Elon Musk is the richest person according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. This net worth, however, stands in abject comparison with the wealth of a historical figure. Did you know that history speaks of someone whose wealth outshines even today's richest figures like Mukesh Ambani, Elon Musk, Adani, and Tata? Well, the individual was Mansa Musa, the 14th-century emperor of the Mali Empire in West Africa, widely regarded as the richest person to have ever lived. Born in 1280 AD and crowned king in 1312 AD, he is considered to be the richest man to have ever lived. If his net worth is adjusted for inflation, it would be a mind-boggling $400 billion, dwarfing the wealth of today's top billionaires. Mansa Musa's reign made the Mali Empire a cultural and economic behemoth, covering present-day Mali, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso. The empire was abundant in natural resources, with gold and salt deposits in regions such as Bambuk, Bure, and Wangara creating immense riches. Mali's prime location on the trans-Saharan trade routes established it as a vital commercial nexus, linking Africa with Europe and the Middle East. Mansa Musa's famous pilgrimage to Mecca was so lavish that it caused significant economic disruptions, including inflation, in the areas he traveled through. Lucy Duran, a researcher from the School of African and Oriental Studies in London, emphasizes that Musa's generosity forms a fundamental part of his legacy, showcasing his unwavering commitment to distributing his wealth and aiding others on an extraordinary scale. Mansa Musa was renowned not just for his vast wealth but also for his remarkable generosity. One of the most extraordinary events in his life was his legendary pilgrimage to Mecca, considered one of the most lavish journeys ever recorded. His caravan was unmatched in scale, featuring 100 camels carrying gold, 12,000 attendants, and a procession of 60,000 enslaved people. Historical records estimate that he carried around 18 tonnes of gold—an astonishing amount worth nearly $957 million in 2022. This pilgrimage showcased Musa's incredible riches and firmly established his status as a figure of global importance. As Mansa Musa journeyed through cities like Cairo, his extravagant distribution of gold poured immense wealth into the local economy. However, this sudden surge in currency supply led to unforeseen consequences—triggering inflation and a short-term drop in the value of gold. While his generosity was widely admired, it also underscored the overwhelming magnitude of his fortune and the profound economic ripple effects it created. He is often considered the richest person to have ever lived. It is reported that his wealth surpasses even the richest individuals of today, such as Mukesh Ambani, Elon Musk, Adani, and Tata.
