Fashionistas find the ultimate strappy sandals in Primark that look just like designer pair for £122 less
RENOWNED as King of the Dupes, Primark has designer copycats in all of its departments.
But one particular area of the shop that is a treasure trove for dupes is its shoe stands, which currently hold a £6 imitation of a viral £128 sandal.
Reformation's pricey Ludo Toe Ring Strappy Flat Sandal recently went viral on TikTok for its trendy silhouette and array of colours.
But at £128 a pop, it's not an affordable design for most Brits.
That's where Primark steps in.
The fast fashion giant's £6 Flat Strappy Sandals might only come in two colours compared to Reformation's seven, but the design is uncanny.
A blurb on the open toe shoes reads: 'Make every step as stylish as the next with these must-have strappy mule sandals.
'A staple in your new season shoe collection, they feature a flat sole that's perfect for everyday comfort and stylish loop design to the toe.
'The strappy style is ideal for sun-splashed summer days, while the faux leather is versatile and practical.
'Wear them on repeat and look to a season of chic moments!'
The colours available are chocolate brown and white.
They are available in sizes 3 through to 8, and already stocked in Primark stores across the country.
Primark's success in the dupe game is no accident.
Its fast fashion model allows the retailer to swiftly spot trending designs - often worn by celebs or made viral by social media - and recreate them.
Whether it's a £3 version of a £40 designer lip gloss or a coat that looks suspiciously similar to one seen on the runway, Primark always comes in clutch with its dupes.
In fact, the latest dupe added to its beauty arsenal is the PS... Lip And Cheek Jelly Tint.
The inspiration for the new launch is Milk Makeup's £22 Cooling Water Jelly Tint.

Tom Fletcher forced to apologise for ‘insensitive' post about his flight after devastating Air India crash
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) TOM Fletcher has apologised after posting an "insensitive" Instagram photo after the fatal Air India crash. He deleted a post about flying a plane while listening to the Foo Fighters song Learn to Fly. 4 Tom Fletcher has apologised for an insensitive post shared on the day of the Air India crash Credit: Getty 4 The tail of the plane is seen hanging from the edge of a building after the crash in India Credit: Reuters 4 People stand near debris at the site of the plane crash On Thursday it was revealed that an Air India plane burst into a fireball while carrying 242 people, including 53 Brits, flying to London Gatwick airport. A British man miraculously survived the crash after jumping off the flaming jet and was filmed walking away from the wreckage. After reading the reports, McFly singer Tom, 38, wrote: "Sorry, I've only just seen the terrible news about the Air India crash. "So awful. Had I known earlier, I obviously wouldn't have posted about my flight today. The former Strictly Come Dancing star continued: "I understand why that must have looked insensitive and have deleted it. Thanks for letting me know. "My whole heart goes out to everyone involved in the crash and all their friends & families." Tom got his license to fly in 2008 when he was just 23 years old. He previously said he would have been a pilot if he wasn't in McFly. Tom apologised after Mark Wright was slammed for moaning about leg room on his flight after the tragic Air India crash. The former Towie star, 38, posted a snap of himself with wife Michelle Keegan and baby Palma posing in front of a private plane, as he moaned about the leg room on standard jets. Mark Wright slammed for 'poor taste' post about planes as 265 killed in horror Air India crash Appearing completely oblivious to the day's events, Mark wrote alongside it: '1 day babe, for now we'll take row 26 with no extra leg room.' His followers were quick to point out his lack of sensitivity, with one person commenting: 'Prob not the best day to post this when so many people lost their lives on a plane.' A second said: 'Not really appropriate to put this up after today's plane crash.' While a third wrote: 'Poor taste given today's event.' And a fourth added: 'What a time to choose to post this.' Radio DJ Mark has since deleted the post and blamed it on an admin error. He wrote: "I apologise for a post I just put up on my page after today's heartbreaking events. "I have posts from a holiday that are on the scheduled setting, which go out on future days I have set them for which was done last week. It's a horrendous coincidence that today's post was on such a devastating day. "Once I logged in to my Instagram and realised the post had gone out, I immediately deleted. My heart goes out to everyone who has been effected from today. I'm sorry for this mistake and any offence caused." At least 265 people were killed - including those on the plane and on the ground - when the Air India flight crashed into a hostel seconds after take off. According to flight tracking website Flightradar, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner's final signal was received just seconds after take-off. This was last logged at 1:38pm local time - less than a minute after it started the journey. King Charles II said he was "desperately shocked" by Thursday's air crash in India, sending "prayers and deepest possible sympathies" to the families of those affected. "My wife and I have been desperately shocked by the terrible events in Ahmedabad this morning," the monarch wrote on Instagram, calling it a "heartbreaking and traumatic time".

American tries roast dinner for first time but is floored by condiment
An American man sampled a British roast dinner for the first time, but it wasn't quite what he expected. One key element of the dish appeared to leave him very disappointed Sometimes it's good to get out of your comfort zone, especially when it comes to food. After all, there are so many different delicacies to try that it seems rude not to sample something new every now and then, but one American was left a little underwhelmed when he tucked into a roast dinner for the first time ever. The man was captured in a TikTok video sampling a roast, and he couldn't quite get over the experience, with parts of the recipe appearing to leave him confused. As well as sampling all the vegetables, he was handed some bread sauce and mint sauce to try, and it wasn't quite what he expected. In the clip, shared by AJ Slambino, you can see that a feast had been laid out on the table. As they sat down to eat, there were even pigs in blankets and stuffing on offer - it really was a roast with all the trimmings. He's seen saying: "I've never had mint sauce. There's a lot going on here, ok? There's a little kick to it. It's not spice - it's like that flavour. It's vinegar. "I'm going to be honest, I don't know if I would eat this again. I don't like the vinegar taste." Warning: Below video may contain offensive language He then moves on to try the bread sauce, but he seemed to like this a lot more. The critique was heard adding: "Yeah, that's divine. Mint sauce though, I don't think I'd do mint sauce again. I think I would pass on that." Since the video was shared, it's been viewed hundreds of times, and people were quick to comment too. Some Brits couldn't get over the fact that he didn't like mint sauce. One said: "Mint sauce with everything, every roast, all of them." Another added: "Mint sauce on everything with gravy." A third replied: "Mint sauce goes with any roast in my opinion. At the very least, make a mint gravy." Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: "Bread sauce is in the elite tier." Others had different ideas though, as someone else suggested: "Always mint jelly, not mint sauce. It's sweeter and not like vinegar." One more also chimed in with: "Bread sauce is for chicken and turkey, mint sauce is for lamb." Despite having mixed feelings about aspects of the dish, AJ reveals he managed to clear his plate at the end. Overall, he must have thought it tasted pretty good, as not a scrap was left. Most people tend to eat mint sauce with lamb, and there's a good reason why. As the vingear gives it a lively tang, it's able to cut through the richness of lamb with just the right amount of acid, fragrance and sweetness. Meanwhile, bread sauce is usually served alongside a classic roast chicken or turkey. Many Brits pair it with white meat, esepcially at Christmas time.

Sabrina Carpenter angers fans with 'submissive' album cover art
Sabrina Carpenter has angered fans after she released her new album cover art for her upcoming album Man's Best Friend, as many are left shocked by her new submissive image Sabrina Carpenter's new album cover art for her upcoming project Man's Best Friend has left fans confused at the "submissive" message it implied. Whilst the star is widely known to have a sarcastic sense of humour and sexual innuendos - shown on-stage during her X-rated 2025 BRIT Awards performance - but the album's cover art has left many fans asking if she's gone too far. Sabrina is portrayed as a submissive woman on the cover and is shown crawling on hands and knees as a male figure grabs her infamous locks. The artwork sparked a wave of backlash as many fans took to TikTok to vent about the "uncomfortable" nature of the former Disney star's image, questioning why female popstars are pushing a hyper-sexualised narrative. READ MORE: Sabrina Carpenter in savage dig at ex Barry Keoghan as fans come to same conclusion One Sabrina fan has gained over 500,000 views on TikTok for questioning Sabrina' s posing in the album artwork. They reference Sydney Sweeney, who was recently embroiled in a bathwater scandal, where the Hollywood actress posed in a bathtub to advertise her new product - a bar of soap that contained drops of her bathwater. The creator @ddiva444 said: "Seeing this alongside the Sydney Sweeney stuff and Bonnie Blue 's petting zoo, I just really have to question what on earth is going on at the moment?" Admitting to being a fan of Carpenter's music, she shared how she loved Sabrina's previous album, Short n' Sweet, because songs like Please, Please, Please and Espresso "poked fun at a lot of the stuff that women experience." "But this? Like literally being on your hands and knees, a man holding you by your hair and titling your album Man's Best Friend... I'm just not sure what to think of it," the creator said. Left with a bitter taste from the image, she went on: "I just don't think this is a good image that we should be preaching". Receiving 51,000 likes, other users ran to the comments to share their comments in agreement, with one writing: "FINALLY people are talking about this. Her rebrand hypersexualising herself for the male gaze is setting us so far back." Another wrote: "It's so regressive and lowkey degrading, definitely promotes the wrong idea to the wrong people". Help us improve our content by completing the survey below. We'd love to hear from you! Interestingly, a third user wrote: "I'm so sick of white, rich women exploiting the concept of choice feminism - whether it's her, Sydney Sydney Sweeney, Bonnie Blue - they have created this really disgusting and damaging narrative. Women sexuality being presented isn't negative but they monopolise the male gaze because they are capitalists and 'sex sells' but its so disgusting". Their strong statement ended by insisting, "women are not objects and their world doesn't revolve [around] men's pleasure but that's the message these women spread". A fourth user suggested the singer "acts like she's poking fun but, at the same time, she's pandering to those toxic norms". The 26-year-old pop singer is yet to comment on the unhappy reception of Man's Best Friend. Man's Best Friend will be released on August 29, 2025. Sabrina shared the announcement on Instagram, with the caption: "I can't wait for it to be yours x" in the caption. This comes after the release of her song and music video Manchild.
