Anti-Aggression Political Parties: Yemeni Unity is Historic Achievement & Strategic Choice

Saba Yemen21-05-2025

Sana'a – SABA:
The Coalition of Political Parties and Forces Opposing the Aggression extended its congratulations to the Yemeni people and the revolutionary and political leadership on the occasion of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen – May 22.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the coalition described Yemeni unity as a great historic achievement and a strategic choice on the national, Arab, and Islamic levels.
The statement noted that the Yemeni people, who realized this historic accomplishment 35 years ago, are now facing severe challenges in the form of foreign aggression and blockade aimed at undermining the country's unity, sovereignty, and independence. It emphasized that unity remains a cornerstone of Yemen's strength and its standing in both the Arab and Islamic worlds, calling for the protection of this achievement from all conspiracies.
The coalition reaffirmed its total rejection of all schemes of division and fragmentation targeting Yemen's territorial and social unity, stressing that the aggression forces would fail in their attempts to dismantle the nation.
The coalition called on all national political and social forces to strengthen national unity and societal cohesion, overcome disputes, and unify the national front to face current challenges. It stressed that a comprehensive and just political solution is the only path to ending the suffering of the Yemeni people, liberating the land, and achieving honorable peace that preserves Yemen's sovereignty, independence, and unity.
The coalition concluded by reaffirming its commitment to God, the leadership, and the Yemeni people to honor the sacrifices of the martyrs and wounded, and to continue defending the country's sovereignty, unity, and independence until decisive victory is achieved.

Hamas: Wietkov's proposal did not include an end to aggression on Gaza

Gaza – SABA: Senior Hamas official Bassem Naim stated on Tuesday evening that the movement had informed mediators of its readiness to enter a new round of negotiations, but not based on the latest version of the proposal by U.S. envoy Steve Wietkov, which, according to Naim, fails to guarantee a complete cessation of aggression on Gaza. In a press statement, Naim emphasized that Hamas cannot accept any agreement that does not ensure a halt to the war and aggression on the Gaza Strip. He further explained that Wietkov returned in the most recent round of talks with a proposal that significantly deviated from the previously agreed-upon version, adding that the new proposal included vague and ambiguous language that does not clearly guarantee an end to hostilities in Gaza. Naim pointed out that many countries around the world — including some of Israel's allies — are now convinced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is the main obstacle preventing a deal from being reached. He stressed that Hamas and all Palestinian factions will not miss any opportunity to end the war and aggression against the Gaza Strip and to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people — but only if there are real and credible guarantees. Armed Forces carry out Qualitative Military Operation targeting Lod Airport in Occupied Yafa Area

Sanaa - Saba Triumphing for the oppressed Palestinian people and their mujahideen, and in response to the crime of genocide perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against our people in the Gaza Strip. The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a qualitative military operation targeting Lod Airport in the occupied area of Yaffa using a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile. The operation successfully achieved its goal, thanks to Allah, causing millions of herds of usurping Zionists to flee to shelters, halting airport operations, and preventing a US military cargo plane from landing at Lod Airport for the second consecutive day. The criminal enemy will find nothing from dear, steadfast, and struggling Yemen but more missiles and drones in rejection of the crime of genocide, and in support of Palestinian rights, in defense of the oppressed, patient, and steadfast people of Gaza, the land of pride, glory, and dignity, and in support of its heroic mujahideen. May Allah protect and care for them. Yemen has chosen not to stand idly by while the crimes, genocide, and siege unfold in Gaza. It will continue—with Allah's help and reliance—to escalate and expand its military operations until the aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.
