Two teenage boys die in motorbike crash in Salford
Two teenagers have died in a motorbike crash in Greater Manchester.
Officers believe the boys, aged 16 and 17, were riding on the same motorbike on Lower Broughton Road, Salford, when they were involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Viva as they attempted to turn into Clarence Street.
Emergency services attended the scene after the alarm was raised at about 8.20pm on Thursday and the teenagers were taken to hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the driver of the car, a 24-year-old woman, stayed at the scene to assist officers.
The families of both victims are being supported by specialist officers from the force.
GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is continuing to probe the circumstances of the crash, and no arrests have been made.
