On Sky Glass, you can say "Hello Sky" without lifting a finger to prompt it.
Alternatively, you can press the mic button on your remote - which is also how it works on Sky Stream too.
But it turns out there are a lot more ways you can use your voice to navigate faster.
Matt Rye, Sky 's Director of Product Management, has exclusively shared the best with The Sun.
Adding to your Playlist
Playlist allows you to save favourite shows or movies in one tidy places.
Press and hold the voice button on your remote, then say 'add to playlist' to quickly add it.
If you have a personal playlist, all you need to do is specify which playlist you want to add it to.
Fast forward
Manually fast forwarding can be a chore.
But there's a way to quickly jump ahead using your voice.
Just say, "Skip three minutes" or any other time.
You can go backward too by saying something like "Rewind one hour".
Sky TV remotes have hidden trick that saves you so much time
Finding your remote
For those with Sky Glass, you can use your voice to track down a lost remote too.
"If you've lost your remote down the back of the sofa, or the kids have hidden it somewhere, you can ask Glass to find it for you," Matt explains.
Just say 'Hello Sky, find my remote" and the remote will start beeping so you can hear where it is.
BONUS PICTURE QUALITY BOOST FEATURES
There's a forgotten trick that allows Sky customers to enhance their TV picture quality too.
On your remote there is a button with three white dots on it.
Click it and a menu will appear along the bottom of your screen.
Go to viewing mode and you can switch up how the picture appears.

Peter Andre, 52, reveals awkward moment with wife Emily, 35, as he makes a rare comment about their 16-year age gap

Peter Andre has recalled an awkward moment that emphasised his 16-year age gap with wife Emily. The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, was introduced to the NHS doctor, 35, by her father when he was 36 and she was just 20. After striking up an initial friendship, the pair began dating in 2012 before going on to tie the knot in a lavish ceremony three years later in 2015. The couple have three children together and despite the strength of their relationship, Peter has admitted their 16-year age gap can still be very apparent. The star told how Emily revealed her age difference during a hilarious blunder at the Pride Of Britain Awards. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Peter told how iconic rocker Jon Bon Jovi, 63, came to their table at the annual award ceremony to strike up a conversation. Writing in his column for new! magazine, he said: 'There's one thing we do laugh about, though… We were at the Pride of Britain Awards one year and Jon Bon Jovi came over to chat. I've met him many times over the years and he's a lovely person. 'He introduced himself to Emily and after he walked away, she turned to me and said, "Who was that?" I was like, "Are you serious? It's Bon Jovi". In the most confused but innocent voice, she said, "What's a Bon Jovi?" 'We laughed about that a lot afterwards! It's in those moments we may realise the age gap - usually with music and films – but in general, we love the same things. I think it's what works for you in a relationship. Who are we to judge?' The star emphasised that the age gap between him and Emily - 16 years - 'really works' for the couple. He added: 'It all depends on the relationship, how the partners are with each other and how they view things, I think. There's a 16-year gap between me and Emily, and it really works for us.' Peter that they had a 'good laugh' about her lack of knowledge of classic rock music and said that it's really just popular culture references that set the couple apart. The couple largely keep their relationship - and their children Amelia, 11, Theo, eight, and Arabella, 13 months - out of the spotlight, but fans of the family could soon be seeing them more. MailOnline recently revealed that Peter and Emily will feature in his daughter Princess Andre's forthcoming ITV reality show. Peter co- parents Princess, who turns 18 later this month, and her older brother Junior, 19, with his ex-wife Katie Price, 47. The former couple famously met on the 2004 series I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and married the following year. The relationship came to an abrupt end in 2009 and Katie has gone on to have numerous engagements and marriages since. Peter, meanwhile, met Emily after he had a kidney stone removed by her father, Dr Ruaraidh MacDonagh, a consultant urologist, back in 2010. Katie is not set to appear in Princess' new fly-on-the-wall programme, which will see the influencer become a celebrity in her own right. The show will follow her work and home life as she prepares to reach the milestone age of 18 and last month, the popular teenager was spotted with a camera crew outside the London offices of hair styling brand GHD. A television insider told MailOnline: 'Katie will not be in Princess's show, the decision has been made and it's final. 'Princess loves her mum, and they have a great relationship, but the show is all about her work and home life. 'Television bosses were adamant that nothing was to be 'staged' to include Katie as it would not be a real and truthful insight into her life.'
