EXCLUSIVE Happy feet! This '70s sitcom star, who played a goofball sidekick, was spotted going for a pedicure with his wife... who is it?
This 75-year-old actor, who remained a staple throughout all eleven seasons, became the quintessential 'dorky' archetype – struggling with common sense but fiercely loyal to his friends.
We spotted him with his wife going for pedicures near their home in laid back Ojai, California and later popping out to buy treats
After enjoying happy days on screen, he pivoted to work behind the scenes, becoming a prolific television director and producer for television – even directing episodes in hit series such as Beverly Hills, 90210, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Charmed.
He even went outside of the entertainment industry altogether, venturing into the restaurant business with a fellow sitcom co-star to open a series of diners.
Then, in 2022, he announced that he would run for mayor of Ojai following the path of other showbiz personalities actors who thought they had what it takes to take the levers of power.
Can you guess who?
He wore two outfits on the same day, changing from a button-down shirt and jeans to a polo shirt and cargo shorts
It's Anson Williams – Potsie from Happy Days!
Williams was spotted on an outing with his third wife Sharon MaHarry, a real estate agent in Ojai.
Dressed in a snazzy outfit including a brown button up with lace detailing, cargo shorts and brown flips flops, Williams accompanied his wife to the nail salon where they got some much-needed self-care on their feet.
After an hour, Anton headed to the car and waited another 30 minutes for his wife who smiled warmly at her husband with a freshly painted set of red nails.
Sharon was dressed in a sharp outfit – a white long-sleeved shirt rolled up to her elbows, black slacks and black slip-on shoes accompanied by a pair of black-rimmed glasses and a black over-the-shoulder purse.
He later changed into a casual gray linen quarter-button up shirt, cargo shorts and kept the brown flip flops to head out on a grocery run where he picked up goodies, including a bag of Tostitos chips.
Williams, who grew up in Los Angeles, is best remembered for his depiction of Potsie in Happy Days.
He was one of the few actors who stayed on for all 11 seasons between 1974 to 1984, even though he would take on a lesser role towards the end of the shows run.
On the show, Potsie was the best friend of Richie Cunningham, played by Ron Howard. Richie was supposed to be the show's central character but was soon eclipsed by Henry Winkler as Fonzie.
Williams originally starred in some commercials in his early 20s before he landed his first major role in the ABC show Love, American Style in 1972 – which went on to inspire the spinoff series, Happy Days.
His character was the goofball who friends labeled a 'square', but was in fact a talented singer and musician – later playing in a band at the gang's classic spot: Arnold's Drive-In.
After the series came to an end, Williams made a few appearances in various shows, before switching over to the other side of the screen to sit in the director's chair.
Throughout his prolific career as a director and producer, Williams has worked on many staple shows such as Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, The Secret Life of the American Teenage, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Lizzie McGuire, 7th Heaven and Charmed.
He also ventured into the restaurant business, and he and Happy Days co-star Al Molinaro opened a chain of diners together called Big Al's. In addition, he founded his own cosmetics company, called Starmaker Products.
Then in 2022, he decided to hit the big leagues and announced that he would be running for mayor.
But in a tight race, Anson, who ran as a Unitarian Democrat, lost to the incumbent mayor Betsey Stix by just 42 votes – with Williams receiving 1,781 votes to Stix's 1,823.
He married actress Lorrie Mahaffey, who also starred in Happy Days, in 1978, but they split nine years later. They have one child together.
The actor then wed Jackie Gerken in 1988, and together, they welcomed four daughters named Hannah, Olivia, Gabrielle and Stella.
In 2019, it was reported that they had filed for divorce, but three weeks later, Williams rescinded the request to try and work it out.
It would be a less than a year later when he files for divorce for a second time, this time going through with it.
He married third wife, real estate agent Sharon MaHarry, in May 2023 at a private home in Los Angeles.

Woke writer slammed for branding Sydney Sweeney 'a butterface who looks great in jeans'
A prominent progressive political scientist has been met with outrage after calling actress Sydney Sweeney ugly. 'She's a butterface who looks great in jeans,' Rachel Bitecofer, 48, wrote Monday in a post responding to Sweeney's controversial American Eagle ad. 'You sound jealous,' a user replied. 'Yer [sic] jealous. Clearly,' another said, in a torrent of more than 2,000 posts that almost all panned Bitecofer, a former lecturer at Christopher Newport University. Most questioned how she came to such a conclusion. The term 'butterface' is an insulting British slang word derived for a person who has a good body but unattractive face. Sweeney, at 27, has surfaced as a sex symbol as of late. At the same time, an American Eagle tagline in her ad - 'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans' - didn't sit well with left-leaning audiences. Some left-wingers have claimed that the ad's deliberate word play on the word 'genes' is racist. 'She's a butterface who looks great in jeans,' Rachel Bitecofer, 48, wrote Monday in a post responding to Sweeney's controversial American Eagle ad Bitecofer went on to say that 'no-one on the left' is concerned with the Sweeney advert and that it was 'all rage porn' on right-wing social media. She did so despite a slew of news stories and opinion pieces on the advert published in The New York Times, CNN, NPR and NBC News. Sweeney's new fans include President Trump, after it was revealed the Euphoria actress is a registered Republican in her home state of Florida. 'She's a registered Republican?' the president said with interest on the tarmac of the Lehigh Valley International Airport outside of Allentown, Pennsylvania, on his way back to Washington after spending the weekend in Bedminster, New Jersey. 'You'd be surprised at how many people are Republican,' he added, after expressing surprise himself over the development. That's one I wouldn't have known, but I'm glad you told me that,' he said, before hailing her ad as 'fantastic.' The backlash to the political commentator's 'butterface' declaration was swift and merciless Bitecofer - the author of Politicize Everything: A Blueprint for a Party That Fights - appeared to view the backlash as a distractions that's being propped up by Republicans American Eagle has shrugged off controversy over the Sweeney advert and insists its company is an inclusive one. In a statement posted on American Eagle's Instagram account on Friday, the retailer said the ad campaign 'is and always was about the jeans. Her jeans. Her story. 'We'll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone,' it concluded. Sweeney, meanwhile, is a member of the Republican Party of Florida, according to public voter records viewed by the Daily Mail. The campaign in question launched last week. It remains unclear if the company knew how much controversy the ad was going to generate.

Jennifer Aniston's new man sparks concern as he's seen hobbling on a date with her A-list pals
Jennifer Aniston 's new hypnotist hunk boyfriend Jim Curtis was seen with cane in hand as he limped on date with the A-lister. The 49-year-old guru was seen hobbling as he arrived for a night on the town in the West Village neighborhood of New York City with his 56-year-old ladylove on Monday. The two - who revealed their romance last month - enjoyed a double date with Jennifer's close pal Jason Bateman, 56, and his longtime wife Amanda Anka, also 56, for their second public outing together. Jim - who has been open about his struggle with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and past fight with severe nerve pain - looked visibly strained as he used a cane while gingerly walking into the hotel after a three-hour dinner. No doubt the two still want to keep their relationship under wraps as they left through different doors in the hotel despite using the same car. The former star of Friends looked stylish for the night out as she sported a white maxi dress with sandals. Jennifer - who was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 until 2005, and then Theroux from 2011 until 2017 - sparked romance rumors after she was spotted with the life coach on vacation in Mallorca, Spain, during Fourth of July weekend. 'She's dating Jim and is very happy, but she's still taking things slowly,' a source previously told They adding that Jen 'feels very connected to Jim, as they have the same level of emotional intelligence, unlike some of her previous suitors.' Before that Aniston appeared to be dropping hints about the new man in her life. On July 14, she took to Instagram Stories with a pair of cryptic posts that had fans reading between the lines. First, the Friends alum reposted a tweet that read: 'The Friends theme song was right, no one told us life was gonna be this way' - seemingly referencing an unexpected new chapter in her life. Then came the real eyebrow-raiser: a quote from 'mindfulness expert' Case Kenny that read, 'People who still radiate love in a world that has shown them its darkest sides, please never change.' Fans immediately began theorizing that the message was about Curtis, who's known for his uplifting, love-centric philosophy. The 49-year-old guru was seen hobbling as he arrived for a night on the town in the West Village neighborhood of New York City with his ladylove on Monday No doubt the two still want to keep their relationship under wraps as they left through different doors in the hotel despite using the same car The former star of Friends looked stylish for the night out as she sported a white maxi dress with sandals Curtis regularly posts inspirational quotes and 'manifestations' to help people 'break free from their past and patterns' to find love - and Aniston has been following him on the social media platform for almost two years. Meanwhile, Jen's Instagram clues came hot on the heels of Curtis expressing how meaningful their Mallorca getaway had been. 'I am back from vacation and what an experience!' he wrote in his newsletter, according to Page Six. 'When I was sick, sad, stuck and in pain I never thought I would have the abundance, joy and love I now experience on a daily basis. 'I just took one step, made one decision and the next followed — now I look back and realize, oh! That course, that life change, that pain, resulted in this magic.' Jim added: 'The same life that brings struggle also brings opportunity. The possibility of something better — more aligned, more free, more meaningful — is always here.' Curtis has had his own share of life-changing challenges. Beginning in the summer of 1995, right after his freshman year at the University of New Hampshire, when he was hit with severe nerve pain that would stay with him for years. An MRI later revealed lesions on his spinal cord, a diagnosis that pushed Curtis to pivot from his 'frat guy athlete' persona and explore a different path focused on healing and personal transformation. He credits a university professor for setting that new course into motion. 'He taught me to meditate and introduced me to the idea of mindfulness: focusing on just being present,' Curtis shared in a 2017 interview. Curtis was previously married to Rachel Napolitano, though their relationship reportedly ended not long after she gave birth to their son, Aidan, who is now a teenager. Aniston, of course, has had her own romantic history in the spotlight. She was famously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 before their headline-making split when Pitt began a relationship with Angelina Jolie while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith. She later tied the knot with actor and writer Justin Theroux in 2015, but the marriage ended in divorce three years later. In a 2022 interview, Aniston opened up for the first time about her private struggle to have children — and the emotional toll it took. 'It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road,' she admitted. 'All the years and years and years of speculation... It was really hard. 'I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it,' she added. ' 'I would've given anything if someone had said to me, 'Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.' You just don't think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.'

Chad Michael Murray embraces his teen heartthrob legacy: ‘It's a blessing'
Chad Michael Murray says he embraces his teenage heartthrob legacy, calling it a blessing. The American actor, 43, rose to fame in the early 2000s, appearing in TV series such as Gilmore Girls and Dawson's Creek, before landing the lead role in the teenage drama series One Tree Hill. Advertisement Murray, who also starred in the 2003 comedy film Freaky Friday alongside Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, gained a reputation as a heartthrob among teenage girls during this era. Manny Jacinto, Julia Butters, Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Hammons attending the UK premiere of Disney's Freakier Friday (PA/Ian West) The father–of-three, who is reprising his role as Jake, Lohan's character Anna's former love interest, in Freakier Friday, says he feels very fortunate to have had such an impact on a generation. 'I'm very, very blessed, very fortunate and lucky to be a part of a lot of really great movies and great stories that have affected a generation,' Murray told the PA news agency. 'That's really the only reason to be an actor for me. I just wanted to make people happy.' Advertisement Murray, who grew up in a single father household in Buffalo, New York, says he moved to Hollywood, when he was 18 years old to pursue a career in acting. 'I think I moved there in September 1999 and I was with Warner Brothers by January 2000,' he said. Freakier Friday sees Lohan and Curtis return to their roles as mother and daughter, 22 years after the first film was released. The 2003 film saw Tess Coleman (Curtis) and musician Anna (Lohan) trade places, after reading fortune cookies at a Chinese restaurant. Advertisement The story picks up with Lohan's character, Anna, now a mother to a teenage daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepmother. In the sequel, Anna's daughter Harper, played by Julia Butters and her soon-to-be stepdaughter Lily Davies, portrayed by Sophia Hammons, join Anna and her mother Tess in a wild, quadruple body swap. Chad Michael Murray attending the UK premiere of Disney's Freakier Friday with his wife Sarah Roemer (Ian West/PA) Reflecting on returning for the sequel, Murray said they had to work out how his character would realistically fit into the updated story. 'It's a house of cards, you move one piece and the whole thing kind of crashes down with four people switching bodies. So we had to be really careful and deliberate with the choices we made,' he said. Advertisement 'I went straight into analytics mode. We had to flesh out who Jake has been over the last 22 years. What's he been up to? Where's he gone? What's the funniest choice here? And that's where we went. Then it just became exciting from there.' Murray added: 'My joking sales pitch for this film has been, this movie will make you live longer as it reduces cortisol levels. 'If this is the type of content I do for the rest of my life as an actor I'm done, I'm happy, I'm in.' The 2003 film was based on the 1972 novel by Mary Rodgers, which was previously turned into a 1976 movie starring Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris.
