YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, popular for his podcast BeerBiceps, has opened up about the toll the India's Got Latent controversy took on his personal and professional life — and the role cricketers Hardik and
Krunal Pandya
played in helping him navigate it.
Allahbadia, who faced severe backlash and legal trouble after making controversial remarks about parents and sex on comedian Samay Raina's show, revealed that many celebrities who publicly claimed they would 'boycott' him were never invited in the first place.

The incident, which drew intense scrutiny, became a talking point even on his own podcast when actor Emraan Hashmi bluntly remarked, 'Everyone knows it.'
In a recent episode, Allahbadia shared how cricketers, Hardik and Krunal Pandya, offered guidance during this turbulent phase.
'Both Hardik and Krunal helped me a lot in this phase — I was talking to Hardik yesterday, I told him, 'Hey man, times are getting better.' He told me, 'Good, because times will get worse again, so just focus on process.' He has seen one downfall in his life and thought that was it, then he had the full booing situation last year — then he won the T20I World Cup for India.
He told me, just focus on the hard work and skills. None of the noise matters, good or bad,' Allahbadia recalled.
Hardik Pandya
had his own share of off-the-field controversy when his disparaging remarks on
Koffee with Karan
landed him in hot soup.
Since the controversy, Allahbadia has hosted prominent names like Boman Irani, Shruti Haasan, and Tara Sutaria, signalling a steady return to his regular podcast rhythm.

'I pray India refuse to play us in Asia Cup. Itna bura maarenge vo...': Basit Ali spits raw venom after drubbing vs WI

Pakistan endured a crushing collapse against the West Indies in the ODI series decider at Tarouba, crumbling to a mere 92 while chasing 295. After taking an early 1-0 lead with a comfortable five-wicket win in the series opener, Mohammad Rizwan's side imploded in the second match and capitulated spectacularly in the decider. India are scheduled to meet Pakistan in the Asia Cup match on September 14(Files/AP) The batting order disintegrated from the outset, losing three top-order wickets within the first three overs. Openers Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, and captain Rizwan all departed without scoring, leaving the chase in tatters. Babar Azam, too, fell cheaply for just 9, while Salman Agha offered little resistance before being dismissed for 30. Pakistan's innings lasted just 29.2 overs, with Jayden Seales being the tormentor-in-chief, registering brilliant figures of 6/18 in 7.2 overs. Following the embarrassing collapse and a heavy defeat, the former Pakistan cricketers reacted furiously; while Shoaib Akhtar took a ferocious dig at the batting lineup, stating they can't take fly home pitches everywhere, Basit Ali went a step further. Referring to the upcoming Asia Cup amid rising India-Pakistan political and diplomatic tensions, Basit expressed his hope that the BCCI refuses to take part in the match, saying it would spare Pakistan an on-field humiliation. 'I pray India refuse to play against Pakistan in the Asia Cup, just like how they did at the World Championships of Legends. Itni buri tarah maarenge na vo, ki aapki soch hai (They will beat us so badly you can't even imagine),' Basit said on The Game Plan YouTube channel. The host had a wry laugh at this remark, and further commented that Pakistan don't even stand a chance against Afghanistan with the way things stand. To this, Basit replied, 'If we lose to Afghanistan, no one would care much in this country. But everyone goes mad the moment you lose to India.' Asia Cup in T20 format While Pakistan's performance in the final ODI does warrant criticism, it's worth noting that the Asia Cup will take place in T20 format, where the team has been relatively stronger. Pakistan had previously edged West Indies 2-1 in the T20I series, led by Salman Agha. None of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan featured in the T20I series, a trend which is likely to continue in the Asia Cup. The Asia Cup, to be held in the UAE, serves as preparation for the next year's T20 World Cup, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

Mrunal Thakur And Bipasha Basu Row Explained: The Old ‘I Am Far Better' Remark That Ignited An Online Storm

Last Updated: Mrunal Thakur's old 'I am far better' remark about Bipasha Basu has gone viral. Here's the full controversy explained. Mrunal Thakur, who first shot to fame with Ektaa Kapoor's hit TV show Kumkum Bhagya, is making headlines again — but this time, it's not for her latest film Son of Sardaar 2 or the ongoing buzz around her alleged link-up with South superstar Dhanush. Instead, the actress is under fire after an old interview resurfaced in which she appeared to take a dig at Bollywood star Bipasha Basu. The video, originally uploaded years ago by Telly Bytes on YouTube, is from the early days of Mrunal's career, back when she was a regular on Kumkum Bhagya. In the clip, she's seen chatting with co-star Arjit Taneja and asks him, 'Do you want to marry a girl who is manly with muscles?" When Arjit replied that he liked a toned physique like Bipasha Basu, Mrunal quipped, 'Go marry Bipasha then!" 'I Am Far Better Than Bipasha' The exchange didn't end there. Mrunal went on to add, 'Listen, I am far better than Bipasha, ok." While it's unclear whether the comments were made in jest, many online users have interpreted them as body-shaming the Raaz actress — sparking widespread backlash on social media. The Internet Reacts Fans of Bipasha, who is celebrated as one of Bollywood's fittest and most glamorous stars, slammed the remarks, calling them disrespectful. They were quick to point out her iconic work in films like Raaz, Jism, Ajnabee, Dhoom 2, and her strong advocacy for fitness. However, not everyone was critical of Mrunal. Some defended her, stressing that the clip is from many years ago and that she was quite young at the time. Bipasha Basu herself has not reacted to the controversy. Mrunal's Silence — and a Possible Indirect Response? So far, Mrunal Thakur has not issued a public statement addressing the uproar. But interestingly, she recently posted fresh photos on Instagram captioned, 'Stop staring!" — a move that has left some wondering if it's a subtle response to the online chatter. Whether intended or not, the post has only fueled further speculation, ensuring that the Mrunal-Bipasha conversation stays firmly in the public eye — at least for now.
