: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the results of the Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (D.El.Ed.
CET) 2025 for the academic session 2025–27.
The result was declared today, July 15, and is now available for download on the board's official portal, www.hpbose.org.
The state-level entrance test was conducted on May 29, 2025, across 87 centres. According to official figures, out of the 15,609 applicants, 14,352 candidates appeared for the exam, while 1,257 were absent. Of those who appeared, 3,203 candidates have successfully qualified for admission into the two-year diploma programme, which prepares individuals for teaching at the elementary level.
The board clarified that the final result has been prepared on the basis of the final answer key, which was issued after considering objections received against the provisional key. All corrections following the verification process have been incorporated into the final evaluation.
Counselling for sports quota candidates on July 21–22
HPBOSE has also announced that candidates applying under the sports quota will undergo document verification on July 21 and 22 at the board's headquarters in Dharamshala.
The verification process will begin at 10:30 AM on both days. Eligible candidates are required to carry their original sports certificates and other necessary documents. A detailed roll number-wise list for this counselling round will be issued separately by the board.

Chargers' defense steps up in 27-13 preseason win against Saints
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Trey Lance scrambled for a 5-yard score and rookie Eric Rogers had a 43-yard pick-6 in a mostly sluggish offensive performance by the Los Angeles Chargers in a 27-13 exhibition win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The Chargers' defense had a goal-line stand and a strip-sack that led to a turnover while dominating the Saints, who committed seven penalties for 56 yards and got sacked five times. Chargers rookie Jamaree Caldwell took down Tyler Shough for a 9-yard loss in the third quarter. Rogers also intercepted Jake Haener in the fourth before getting hurt with 1:43 remaining. Lance was 7 of 14 for 55 yards. He also was the Chargers' leading rusher with seven carries for 48 yards. Taylor Heinicke started at quarterback for the Chargers, going 1 of 5 for 8 yards. DJ Uiagalelei drew cheers with a 49-yard pass to Dalevon Campbell late in the game. With a four-man quarterback competition, Spencer Rattler started for the Saints and was sacked twice by Caleb Murphy in the second. Shough replaced him and was intercepted by Rogers on a pass intended for Dante Pettis on the Saints' first possession of the third. Lance passed to Campbell for the 2-point conversion and a 17-3 lead. Shough hit Mason Tipton for a 54-yard touchdown and Charlie Smyth made the extra point, leaving the Saints trailing 17-10. Shough was 15 of 22 for 165 yards. Cameron Dicker had field goals of 44 and 40 yards for the Chargers. Coming off an 11-6 season and their first playoff appearance since 2022 in his first year, Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh rested several starters including quarterback Justin Herbert. The Chargers were without Rashawn Slater, who sustained a season-ending torn patella tendon in practice earlier in the week. Marcus Harris and Peter Handscomb have continued their productive English county summers, the two veteran Australian internationals both producing fine captain's knocks in the One-Day Cup. Handscomb, who's had a fine season leading Leicestershire to the top of division two of the County Championship, had a landmark Sunday, scoring his third hundred of the season while going past 20,000 career runs in all forms of the game. Alas, the 34-year-old couldn't end his big day with what he really wanted as Leicester were edged out by three wickets at Bristol by a Gloucestershire side featuring his old international colleague Cameron Bancroft. West Indies levels series with a 5-wicket victory over Pakistan in the second ODI
TAROUBA, Trinidad and Tobago (AP) — Roston Chase and Justin Greaves led West Indies to a five-wicket victory over Pakistan with 10 balls to spare in the rain-reduced second one-day cricket international on Sunday, leveling the three-match series at 1-1. Chase's 49 not out off 47 balls included two sixes and the winning boundary as West Indies scored 184-5 in 33.2 overs. The hosts were chasing a revised target of 181 runs in 35 overs under the DLS method after multiple rain interruptions saw Pakistan's innings end at 171-7 in 37 overs. Right-arm fast bowler Jayden Seales took 3-23 in seven overs. West Indies stumbled from 101-3 after 18 overs at Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad and Tobago, to 111-5 off 24 overs, including the wicket of Sherfane Rutherford, who hit a 33-ball 45 with three sixes and six fours.
