King and Queen feed polo mints to champion racehorse on visit to Newmarket
The King and Queen each fed a polo mint to the champion racehorse Stradivarius on a visit to the National Stud in Newmarket, Suffolk. Charles, 76, held out the treat on his right palm for the stallion to take, then stroked the horse on the head. Camilla, 78, also gave the horse a mint then petted it as the animal loudly crunched on it. The King said afterwards: 'At least he didn't bite.' His consort said 'keep away from their teeth', adding: 'Now he's looking for more polos.' Charles and Camilla were shown four resident stallions on their visit to the National Stud, with each individually paraded before them. The last of the four was Stradivarius, who has career earnings in excess of £3.4 million and 18 Group wins – more than any other European horse. The King and Queen, who arrived by helicopter, also spoke to people involved in the horseracing industry during Tuesday's visit. Charles shovelled soil into holes beside two already-planted field maple trees and Camilla then watered them from a watering can, before a round of applause, and they left the National Stud in a dark blue BMW car.

Hellraiser is being turned into a survival horror game
The developers at Boss Team Games have such sights to show you: the studio just announced that it's taking the terrifying world of the classic Hellraiser films and turning it into a survival horror game. The new title is called Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, and somehow it's the first gaming adaptation of the franchise, which has been around since 1987. According to the studio, the game will blend 'survival horror with a single-player, story-driven action experience.' And, yes, there will be a dark and mysterious puzzle box. There are also some notable names on board. Doug Bradley, the original actor for Hellraiser's iconic villain Pinhead, will be reprising the role, and series creator Clive Barker is assisting with the game's story. In a statement, Barker said that 'I'm eager for both the curious and the damned to experience this new chapter in the Hellraiser mythos, where every moment balances on the brink of nightmare and revelation.' While this will be the first Hellraiser game, it's part of a growing trend of classic horror franchises being adapted for the medium. The likes of Friday the 13th and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre were turned into asymmetrical multiplayer games, as was The Evil Dead, which was developed by Boss Team. Single-player survival horror seems like a better fit for Hellraiser, however, though it's unclear yet when it might be available. Right now it's listed as simply 'in development.' It'll be available on the PC, PS5, and Xbox whenever it does launch.

The Princess of Wales shares birthday photo of grown-up Prince George – and he looks just like his dad
Happy birthday Prince George! The young prince celebrates his 12th birthday today (Tuesday 22 July) and his parents, The Prince and Princess of Wales, have shared a grown-up photograph of him to mark the occasion – and we couldn't help but notice the resemblance to his dad. On their official social media accounts, Prince William and Kate posted a portrait of a smiling Prince George leaning over a gate post. In the photo, Prince George looks remarkably like his dad, Prince William, did at a similar age. In a caption, Prince George's parents wrote 'Happy 12th Birthday to Prince George!' with a birthday cake emoji. Just last week, Prince George joined The Prince and Princess of Wales and his sister, Princess Charlotte, for a day out at Wimbledon. While Prince Louis wasn't attending on the day, the family had a front-row view of the tennis, and Prince George mirrored his dad's navy suit for the occasion. Both wore navy suit jackets along with a shirt and tie for the semi-formal occasion, watching the Men's Singles Final of The Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis Club on Day 14 of the event. Prince George's mum, Kate, presented the trophies at the end of the match, as she had the day before at the Women's Singles Final on Day 13. The Princess of Wales was also in blue on the day, wearing a V-neck Self Portrait midi dress.
