Mountain Dew and Papa Johns Drop ‘Tangy' New Limited-Edition Collab
Whoever said nothing good ever came from reality TV, Papa Johns would like a word.
Thanks partly to Hulu'sSecret Lives of Mormon Wives, "Dirty Sodas" are everywhere, launching at Sonic Drive-In, at Taco Bell and even influencing creamer selections at grocery stores. Now, Papa Johns is joining in on the trend, teaming up with the team over at Mountain Dew on an exclusive new release just in time for the Season 2 premiere of the reality series.
On Wednesday, the popular pizza chain announced it would be working with the fan-favorite soda brand to get a limited number of fans their own 'Cini Dirty Soda (or a Peppericini Mountain Dew mocktail).

The "bold" new recipe blends "Mountain Dew's vibrant citrus flavor with Papa Johns' signature pepperoncini kick, culminating in a fizzy, tangy concoction," the brand promises to be "as addictive as your latest binge-watching obsession."
It will only be available as a limited-edition collector's kit, but according to a spokesperson, the kit comes with "everything fans need to whip up the crave-worthy creation at home," including an insulated bag and all the "unexpectedly delicious" ingredients.
Those superfans looking to test out the drink will have to act fast, as it will only be available for a limited time. Papa Rewards members can enter for a chance to win the 'Cini Dirty Soda kit at papajohnscinisoda.com starting on May 14, no purchase necessary.
