Brooklyn Beckham 'deepens rift with his family by splashing out £11 million on a new mansion in LA with wife Nicola Peltz'

Daily Mail4 hours ago

Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly splashed out £11 million on a new mansion with his wife Nicola Peltz, in a move that will no doubt deepen his rift with his parents.
Victoria and David, 50, are in the midst of an escalating rift with eldest son Brooklyn and his actress wife, Nicola, after the couple were absent from all of the former footballer's 50th birthday celebrations.
Now, The Sun are reporting that Brooklyn and Nicola have exchanged on a £10.5 million property in Hollywood, having previously rented in the area.
The couple's new property boasts five bedrooms and six bathrooms, as well as a state-of-the-art home cinema, gym and infinity pool.
Sources have claimed that this means little chance of Brooklyn returning to the UK, and reuniting with his parents, anytime soon.
They told the publication: 'Brooklyn's wife is American, as are her family whom he adores, and he feels his life now is Stateside.
'As an influencer he can work from anywhere but Brooklyn believes he has more opportunities in LA. It will be a dagger to the heart for his parents.
'Until now, the couple have always been renting so there was hope his relocation wouldn't be permanent. This house purchase quashes any last hopes.'
MailOnline has contacted a representative for Brooklyn Beckham for comment.
It comes after Brooklyn appeared to fail to publicly acknowledge Father's Day, despite his parents publicly reaching out.
David had told his children: 'I will always be there, no matter what' in an emotional Father's Day Instagram post.
He shared pictures of Victoria and their four children Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, laughing and looking cheery in happier times.
Subtly reaching out to his eldest son, David insisted he will always be around to support all his children, even if times get tough.
He wrote: 'My most important & favourite job in life is being a dad... I'm so proud of all of you and like daddy ( sorry boys ) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what...
Victoria and David are in the midst of an escalating rift with eldest son Brooklyn and his actress wife, Nicola, after the couple were absent from the footballer's 50th birthday celebrations
'Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad... Happy Father's Day... I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.. @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven @tedbeckhamdavid.'
David continued marking the day by sharing throwback snaps of his children to his Instagram stories, including Brooklyn, and tagged him in each individual capture.
Brooklyn's brother Romeo's ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull had been at the centre of the row after Nicola reportedly claimed that she felt uncomfortable around her, with sources close to the US heiress saying that Kim had dated Brooklyn when they were teenagers, which she has now denied in a statement.
Sharing a statement on her Instagram page on Monday, Kim said: 'I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on.
'I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative.
'I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question.
'Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.'
Things came to a head when Brooklyn and Nicola were no shows at any of David's 50th birthday celebrations last month, with The Mail revealing that Kim has been made the 'scapegoat' in the feud.
They failed to attend any of football legend David's five celebrations to mark his milestone birthday, including celebrations in Miami, London, Paris the Cotswolds and a boys fishing trip to Scotland.
Brooklyn then seemed to fail to publicly acknowledge his father's Knighthood for his services to sport and charity as part of the King's Birthday Honours list.
David, 50, said over the weekend: 'It's been an emotional week I must admit. For me and for my family. It's obviously very special.
'It's a huge honour, but one that has been shared with myself and my family and so, it's been emotional.'

Bethenny Frankel reveals sentimental reason for Florida move and how her daughter is adjusting to the relocation

She has relocated from the Big Apple to the Sunshine State this past year. Now Bethenny Frankel has shed more light on what prompted her to permanently relocate to Florida. Speaking with Us Weekly on Tuesday, Bethenny described how the prospect of becoming a full-time resident felt 'different in the right way' after she first purchased an apartment in Miami last year. The Real Housewives of New York City alum, 54, told the publication that she ended up staying at her Florida residence more than she expected. For that reason, she said she started seriously contemplating uprooting her and her 15-year-old daughter Bryn's lives in their hometown and moving down south. 'I went to high school in Florida and I've been going there my entire life, even since I was a younger, since I was a baby,' she recalled. She said that when purchasing her Miami property last year, she 'thought I would be there a certain number of days' but ended up being there more often than she expected. Reflecting on what happened before her move, she admitted: 'It started to make me feel like, "Wait, I really feel like I live there," even before this whole decision happened.' She continued, 'So I was already like, "Wait, it feels different to live here than to visit. It feels different in the right way."' The entrepreneur also told the outlet that her teenage daughter Bryn is adjusting well to their move. 'I have a sunshine baby,' she said. 'We are water people.' Bethenny announced back in April that she and her daughter were moving to Florida for 'personal and professional reasons' — sparking fan concern that she was relocating due to politics. Last month, Bethenny opened up about the reason she wanted to move out of New York City and admitted she felt like she was 'drowning' so she ultimately decided to move to Florida with her daughter. That same month, she listed her $8 million mansion in Connecticut for sale. In a TikTok video she posted on in early May, she said that a 'series of events transpired' earlier this year so she decided to sell their home. 'The morning of March 19th, this wasn't even a thought and by that evening, a series of events transpired and we decided it was the best move to move here,' said the star. She explained that she quickly decided to list their home for sale, though she will be keeping her New York City apartment, and set out to buy a house in the Sunshine State. 'Within five weeks, [we] had sold and bought a home in both places. We'll keep this apartment, but I sold my home and bought a house in Florida,' she said. Frankel said living with just her daughter Bryn, whom she shares with ex-husband Jason Hoppy, in an overly spacious house 'was drowning me.' 'It was just the two of us,' she said. 'It was a massive property, and I made the decision to buy that property when I was in a different stage of my life. 'I thought it would be this, like, big family home and that I'd be entertaining there a lot.' She continued: 'The house was drowning me because it had an apple orchard, it was a historical house, it had all this property, and it was beautiful and amazing for a big family with kids and grandparents. 'It just ended up being a place that I spent a lot of time alone [in] because I didn't really know many people in that community. It was lonely.' She said she didn't want to be 'home alone' so she decided to 'simplify' their space. 'My simplification is someone else's complication because I'm still going to be in a beautiful home, but I just took on too much,' she explained. 'And the idea of something was different than the reality of it.' Frankel also added that she originally planned to downsize in four years when her daughter would be heading off to college, but she decided to go ahead with it now because of a 'moment.' 'This situation was drowning me and something else was distracting her and neither of us would say it out loud because this is just what it was,' she said cryptically. 'The moment it became about her, I was able to be honest with myself about how I felt and it freed both of us. I think I'll be lighter and brighter and happier in the coming months.' Frankel added: 'I'm excited for this next chapter.'

Tyler Perry accused of sexual harassment and workplace gender violence

Tyler Perry has been accused of sexual harassment, workplace gender violence and sexual assault in a lawsuit from an actor who said the media mogul used his influence and power to create a 'coercive, sexually exploitative dynamic'. In the suit filed in Los Angeles last week and first reported on Tuesday, Derek Dixon, who worked on Tyler Perry's shows Ruthless and The Oval, said Perry promised career advancement but subjected him to 'escalating sexual harassment, assault and battery'. Dixon alleges he was subjected to harassment and abuse by Perry while he 'held direct control over his employment, compensation, and creative opportunities' and that he faced retaliation when he did not respond favorably to his advances. Perry, the billionaire star of the Madea film series, is one of the most powerful figures in Hollywood with his own massive film and TV studios in Atlanta and a partnership with the Oprah Winfrey Network. Major studios frequently film movies on his lot. He has denied the allegations and his lawyer described it as a 'shakedown'. 'This is an individual who got close to Tyler Perry for what now appears to be nothing more than setting up a scam,' Matthew Boyd, Perry's attorney, said in a statement to media. 'But Tyler will not be shaken down and we are confident these fabricated claims of harassment will fail.' The lawsuit alleges that Perry has 'a troubling pattern of exploiting vulnerable male actors and employees' and that like 'Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, R. Kelly, Sean 'P-Diddy' Combs… Mr. Perry's success has led him to believe that money and influence can get him whatever he wants.' 'Tyler Perry has been using his power and influence to molest, abuse, and sexually assault impressionable and vulnerable employees and actors who look to him for guidance and mentorship,' the lawsuit states. The pair met in 2019 while Dixon, who was working for an events company, was at an opening party for Perry's studio, according to the lawsuit. Perry allegedly 'picked [Dixon] out of a crowd of employees present at the Party, and began asking [Dixon] questions about his employment status, and whether Plaintiff was an actor.' He began texting Dixon, first asking him about his goals and career aspirations, the suit states. He offered Dixon a job on one of his television shows with the promise that 'it was a small role that could get a lot bigger,' according to the lawsuit, 'thereby setting up the first stage in a series of escalating quid pro quo offers' . Shortly after his first acting job, Dixon was invited to Perry's home where they drank and made conversation. Perry urged him not to drive home, according to the suit. 'Dixon agreed and was escorted to a separate guest room, not knowing that this was a ruse to allow Perry to assault Dixon. Dixon was tired and did not have pajamas and so he got into bed only wearing underwear. Before he knew what was happening, Dixon felt someone else slip into bed behind him and start rubbing Dixon's body around his inner thigh in a highly sexual and suggestive manner.' skip past newsletter promotion Sign up to Headlines US Get the most important US headlines and highlights emailed direct to you every morning Privacy Notice: Newsletters may contain info about charities, online ads, and content funded by outside parties. 'On multiple occasions, Mr. Perry sexually assaulted Mr. Dixon, including one instance where he forcibly pulled off Mr. Dixon's clothing, groped his buttocks, and attempted to force himself on Dixon.' The suit includes communications between the two, including flirtatious and sexually suggestive messages from Perry that Dixon appears to attempt to rebuff. Dixon is seeking at least $260m in damages.

'Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, James Garner, Tom Cruise and Chris Hemsworth are just some of the movie stars who have taken car racing to the big screen. Now it's Brad Pitt's turn in,' she went on. 'Will his star power, plus the success of Drive to Survive, take this movie to the top of the box office?' Angela first showed off her shock weight loss as she stepped out for the 2025 Golden Globes in January. She posted to Instagram to share a very glamorous snap of herself before she took to the red carpet for Channel 10 on the glitzy evening. She showed off her slimmed-down frame in a $1,599 off-the-shoulder black gown with a corset bodice from Rebecca Vallance as she posed in her hotel room. Angela has spoken openly about her weight loss and previously described the key changes she made in her lifestyle to drop the kilos. Back in 2020, Angela told how she made one simple change in her diet rather than hitting the gym regularly. 'I recently gave up my sugar-free energy drink addiction,' she revealed on her morning TV show at the time. 'I was drinking between 2-3 cans a day and changing absolutely nothing else about my diet, I've lost two kilos in three and a half weeks.' She admitted she had a 'painful' withdrawal from the energy drinks but felt 'great' after kicking the habit. 'I had very very bad headaches and didn't feel good at all,' she added. After dropping further kilos, she has been showing off her slender frame in recent months with a string of glamorous red carpet appearances.
