Is there going to be a GTA 6 trailer 3? Viral Reddit post claims possible release after doing the math
Amid the swirling speculations about the game and after fans went gaga over the first two trailers for the game, now they anticipate that Rockstar Games may have worked on the GTA 6 Trailer 3.
The first two trailers for Grand Theft Auto 6 were released over a year ago, but there are still 11 months left for the game to officially release.
Is there a Trailer 3 for GTA 6?
According to Gaming Bible, as fans eagerly await the third trailer of the game, Rockstar Games may be cooking up a third trailer for all. The report notes that hopefully, this trailer will have actual gameplay to see rather than just the in-engine footage.
A Reddit post under the user name @r EinfachBlueG recently went viral after predicting a window for when they believe Rockstar will release the third trailer for GTA 6.
In the post, the user calculated the math on how soon before the launch of Rockstar Games released a third trailer for its previous games, GTA 5, GTA 4, Red Dead Redemption, and Red Dead Redemption 2; they used an average date of 17th January, 2026. But it clearly can't be the date, but it can be somewhere around in the winter.
Netizens react to the viral GTA 6 Trailer 3 post
As soon as the post surfaced on social media, it quickly grabbed the attention of fans and netizens. One said, "They've already shown they're not following any previous patterns; these posts are meaningless."
While another added, "The only pattern I see repeating itself is the delays, there is no way the game will launch in May of 2026 , probably delayed one more time to November or December. That date of May is to make the investors happy and to evade the loss of hype for the gam."
"No, Rockstar doesn't talk about release dates for their games when they are confident they will be able to reach them, if they weren't confident they would have given a release window," one said.

GTA 6 to roll out age-verification ahead its launch? Rockstar's new move sparks outrage; fans say ‘they have a bad feeling about this'
In a sudden twist of events, a new update by Rockstar Games has left players in shock, especially in the United Kingdom. Amid the growing anticipations, leaks, and rumours, a report shared by a well-known gaming insider, Rockstar Games, may soon roll out age verification for GTA Online, starting with players in the UK. The move comes amid the regular demands, leaks, and rumours that fans circulate ahead of GTA 6. Moreover, this is the second shocker after a further launch delay rumour surfaced on Friday. But why is Rockstar Games going to run an age check ahead of the GTA 6 launch? Let's find out. Age checks are likely to be implemented before the GTA 6 release According to a report by PC Games, a trusted insider, Tez2, revealed on X (formerly called Twitter) that Rockstar Games is preparing to introduce a new age verification system for GTA Online. This move allows recent regulatory changes, especially the UK's Online Safety Act, which mandates age checks to restrict minors from accessing potentially harmful or illegal content. Given GTA Online's open-world nature and user-generated content, it may fall under these new compliance rules. "GTA Online"Porque el GTA 6 agregará verificaciones de edad para poder jugar en línea. Fans react to the age verification move by Rockstar Games According to Tez2, Rockstar is going to introduce the age verification system first in the UK. Well, as soon as the news surfaced on social media, it quickly grabbed the attention of players and fans. One player reacted to the same and said, "I already have a fake NSW driver's license in my possession that looks identical to a real NSW driver's license that i'm going to use to get around all of these because fuck the government and fuck this bullshit." "It's weird that the sudden push for age verification is happening so fast all around the world. Feels very coordinated. So glad most of us grew up in the golden age of the internet. It's downhill from here," one wrote. "I have a bad feeling about this," one said. "Completely agree. There's been quite a lot of discussion on the UK subs about it in the last few days since the Online Safety Act came into effect. Very worrying." One asked, "But little kids are the majority of online's fanbase, so they will regret the decision." To which GameRoll replied, "Again, it's not Rockstar's fault. They have to abide by the law. It's the governments and people in power." Why is Rockstar Games running an age verification? According to a popular X account, GameRoll, "The government wants our data. They want to monitor us even more than they already do. This was never about protecting children; it was about mass surveillance. It'll be every single social platform." "Because uploading your ID and personal data to third-party websites is an incredible breach of privacy and comes with MANY risks??? This is the government wanting to control you and monitor you even further. The act was to 'protect children,' and it's been incorporated into Spotify and other platforms with zero need for it. It's not a conspiracy; this is dystopian," he added. FAQs Q. Will GTA Online really require age verification, or is it just speculation? Yes, according to a reliable industry source known as Tez2, Rockstar Games is preparing to roll out an age verification system in GTA Online. Q. Why introduce age verification now? Is this tied to UK law? Yes, the move is almost certainly tied to the UK's Online Safety Act 2023, which began enforcement in July 2025.
