Is there going to be a GTA 6 trailer 3? Viral Reddit post claims possible release after doing the math
Amid the swirling speculations about the game and after fans went gaga over the first two trailers for the game, now they anticipate that Rockstar Games may have worked on the GTA 6 Trailer 3.
The first two trailers for Grand Theft Auto 6 were released over a year ago, but there are still 11 months left for the game to officially release.
Is there a Trailer 3 for GTA 6?
According to Gaming Bible, as fans eagerly await the third trailer of the game, Rockstar Games may be cooking up a third trailer for all. The report notes that hopefully, this trailer will have actual gameplay to see rather than just the in-engine footage.
A Reddit post under the user name @r EinfachBlueG recently went viral after predicting a window for when they believe Rockstar will release the third trailer for GTA 6.
In the post, the user calculated the math on how soon before the launch of Rockstar Games released a third trailer for its previous games, GTA 5, GTA 4, Red Dead Redemption, and Red Dead Redemption 2; they used an average date of 17th January, 2026. But it clearly can't be the date, but it can be somewhere around in the winter.
Netizens react to the viral GTA 6 Trailer 3 post
As soon as the post surfaced on social media, it quickly grabbed the attention of fans and netizens. One said, "They've already shown they're not following any previous patterns; these posts are meaningless."
While another added, "The only pattern I see repeating itself is the delays, there is no way the game will launch in May of 2026 , probably delayed one more time to November or December. That date of May is to make the investors happy and to evade the loss of hype for the gam."
"No, Rockstar doesn't talk about release dates for their games when they are confident they will be able to reach them, if they weren't confident they would have given a release window," one said.

Do you think GTA 6 trailer was flawless? Redditor finds 10 bugs and mistakes that you may have missed
Rockstar Games' long-awaited game, GTA 6, two trailers created waves across the gaming community with its stunning visuals, immersive atmosphere, and detailed world-building. However, one eagle-eyed Redditor has pointed out that not everything in the trailer is as polished as it seems. In a series of screenshots, the user highlighted subtle bugs, graphical glitches, and incomplete textures that most viewers likely overlooked during the initial hype. The post has since sparked discussions online, with fans debating whether these flaws are signs of a rushed preview or just a part of the typical development process for open-world games. Bugs in the GTA 6 trailers spark discussions online From floating objects to character clipping, the issues range from minor to slightly jarring; however, none seem enough to derail the excitement for the game. Still, the findings serve as a reminder that trailers often show early builds and perfection isn't always guaranteed, even in the most anticipated titles like GTA 6. One user wrote, " There are alot of bugs and visual glitches in the trailer and screenshots, which funny enough, makes me more hyped for the game because it proves these are all in-game instead of pre-rendered. (Given, rockstar cutscenes uses special models and lighting that are not in-game normally)" While another added, "I like posts like this, but I will say that nearly half of them aren't bugs or the thing circled is incorrect. For example, the screenshot of the street takeover the people do have shadows (but due to contrast/etc the shadow isn't visible). There's one circling Jason lifting that said "no facial expression", and two NPCs that have the same pose- those aren't bugs or unfinished, and might just be how the game is." A look at the screenshots with bugs in the GTA 6 trailers 1. Reflection is wrong: In this image shared by the Reddit user, the reflection in the glasses is wrong, claims the user. 2. Skid mark: The second picture shows only one skid mark per side when the car has 2 wheels on each side. 3. Glasses don't have lenses: In this, glasses do not have lenses in the reflection. 4. Missing shadow: The girl wearing the three-piece neckpiece whose shadow is a missing in the picture. 5. Missing shadow reflection: The particular picture shows a missing shadow reflection of the pillars. 6. Missing shadow of people: Here, the highlighted group of people show no reflection on the ground, whereas others do. 7. Hand movement wrong: The hand and steering wheel do not have the same movement in the picture. 8. No person in the car: The picture shows the part where the car turns into a fireball, but there is no one present in the car. 9. Render issue: The picture from the highway in the game shows render issues. 10. Lamp is floating: In this picture, the lamp is floating in the air if you look carefully, which is what the post claims.

GTA 6 could support 60 fps gameplay, but only on Sony PS5 Pro: Details here
More than a year ahead of its expected launch, Grand Theft Auto VI or GTA 6 continues to generate momentum online – not just for its dual protagonists or expansive open world, but now for its potential performance benchmarks on consoles. A new video shared online has sparked fresh speculation about GTA 6 supporting 60 frames-per-second (fps) gameplay on select consoles. GTA 6 60 FPS support tied to PS5 Pro? According to a report by GizmoChina, an X (formerly Twitter) user named Detective Seeds shared that GTA 6 may run at 60 fps on the PlayStation 5 Pro. The said user claimed that Rockstar Games is working with Sony to optimise the title for the PS5 Pro, enabling higher performance across multiple graphic settings. If accurate, this would be a major shift from American video game publisher Rockstar Games' typical console strategy. Both GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 launched with a 30 fps cap on consoles, with 60 fps support arriving later and only for PC. The current-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X are expected to offer the standard 30 fps experience, while smoother gameplay could be exclusive to the PS5 Pro when GTA 6 releases, reportedly in May 2026. Why does it matter Sony appears to be positioning the PS5 Pro as a high-performance option, similar to Microsoft's approach with games like Forza Horizon 5, where players can toggle between quality and performance modes. If GTA 6 does ship with a 60 fps option on PS5 Pro, it would give Sony a notable edge — especially among players who prioritise frame rates. For now, Rockstar Games and Sony have not issued any official confirmation about the game's performance targets or PS5 Pro enhancements. As such, the details remain speculative based on visuals and commentary currently circulating on the web. Notably, as per Rockstar Games, GTA 6 is set to release on May 26, 2026.

Surprisingly, the basic PS5 as well as Xbox Series X may not provide 60 frames per second at the time of the time of launch. GTA Six Themed PS5 Pro console incoming? There's also speculation of an exclusive GTA 6 frame rate, given the close relationship with Sony with the Rockstar Games GTA 6 update.
