Dodgers recall RHP Jack Little, option RHP Noah Davis
Little, 27, made his major league debut for the Dodgers on June 19th against the San Diego Padres. Across two innings, he allowed two runs, four hits, and one walk with one strikeout.
At Triple-A Oklahoma City, Little has performed well this season, posting a 3.60 ERA and 33 strikeouts across 35 innings. He will now get his second shot at the MLB level.
Davis, 28, is a more experienced option, appearing in 18 career games with the Colorado Rockies, before joining the Dodgers' organization this offseason.
In his first four outings with the Dodgers, Davis surrendered three earned runs and four hits in 4 2/3 total innings. However, he had a rough outing on Friday, as the Houston Astros racked up 10 runs, including two homers, against him in only 1 1/3 innings.

Soaring Guardians squeeze by Twins
August 2 - Bo Naylor doubled in Jose Ramirez with one out in the eighth inning, lifting the surging Cleveland Guardians to a 5-4 win over the visiting Minnesota Twins on Saturday afternoon. Naylor's sharp liner to right off Pierson Ohl (0-2) capped a back-and-forth contest between American League Central rivals, culminating in Cleveland's 16th victory in its last 22 games. Nic Enright (2-0) struck out both batters he faced in the eighth for the win. Hunter Gaddis pitched the ninth for his first save, making him 1-for-9 in career opportunities. Ramirez hit a two-run homer, Daniel Schneeman had a solo shot and scored a pair of runs, and C.J. Kayfus drove in a run in his major-league debut as the Guardians won their second straight in the three-game series. The Twins scored four straight runs to grab a 4-2 lead against Guardians starter Tanner Bibee. Matt Wallner belted a two-run homer to plate Kody Clemens in the fourth, and Trevor Larnach and Royce Lewis had RBI hits in the fifth. Cleveland opened the scoring in the second when Kayfus grounded out in his initial at-bat, bringing home Bo Naylor from third. Schneemann's solo homer in the third off Twins starter Bailey Ober made it 2-0. Kayfus, who was batting .300 with 14 homers and 54 RBIs in 86 combined games at Triple-A Columbus and Double-A Akron, reached the majors in his third pro season. He and outfielder Chase DeLauter are considered the top two prospects in the organization. Bibee was lifted after 4 2/3 innings, giving up four runs on eight hits. The right-hander struck out five and walked two before being taken off the hook by Ramirez's tying homer in the bottom of the fifth. Ober was activated off the injured list following a one-month absence with a left hip impingement. The right-hander gave up four runs on six hits in five innings, striking out four with one walk. He is 0-5 with an 8.74 ERA in six starts since the beginning of June. --Field Level Media

WNBA fan is arrested after throwing sex toy onto court in Atlanta
The WNBA have confirmed that a fan has been arrested for throwing a sex toy on the court during an Atlanta Dream game earlier this week. During the fourth quarter of Dream's clash against Golden State Valkyries on Tuesday, the bright green object was chucked from the stands onto the court. The game was brought to an abrupt halt as players, coaches, fans and officials were left bemused by the bizarre incident. The shocking act appeared to spark a trend after a similar incident occurred on Friday night during the Valkyries game against the Chicago Sky. In an attempt to put an end to the inappropriate acts, the WNBA have now confirmed that an individual has been arrested for throwing the provocative projectile. In a statement, the WNBA said: 'The safety and well-being of everyone in our arenas is a top priority for our league. Objects of any kind thrown onto the court or in the seating area can pose a safety risk for players, game officials, and fans. 'In line with WNBA Arena Security Standards, any fan who intentionally throws an object onto the court will be immediately ejected and face a minimum one-year ban in addition to being subject to arrest and prosecution by local authorities.'
