Ashnoor Kaur Planned This Surprise For Grandparents' 50th Anniversary
Ashnoor Kaur celebrated her grandparents' golden jubilee anniversary with a romantic candlelit setting in the Maldives. A sweet video, shared on the actress' Instagram handle, captured the special moment. The post has truly touched hearts.
Take a look here:
Ashnoor Kaur, who made her TV comeback with Suman Indori, earlier opened up about her college life before returning to the screen. In an interview with Telly Talk India, she said, 'I was in Jai Hind College, and it is very strict about attendance. Hence, I had to focus on studies. I took on short-term projects because of that. I have had hectic schedules when I appeared for my board exams. I remember I was doing Patiala Babes during my 10th and 12th board exams. I managed to score well. So, managing college and short-term projects was not difficult for me."
She also spoke about working with Anita Hassanandani and Zain Imam on the sets of Suman Indori: 'It's fab! I met Anita Di (Hassanandani) for the first time during the shoot. We do a lot of tashan waale scenes, but after that, we laugh a lot. We have our inside jokes. We keep making reels and all."
The actress added, 'Zain Imam has been a friend since before the show. We have that comfort level, understanding and that friendly bond. Work doesn't feel like work if I am on the sets of Suman Indori."
Ashnoor Kaur has appeared in projects such as Manmarziyaan, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Siddhant Chaturvedi's Mother Proudly Selects Saree For Dhadak 2 Premiere
Siddhant Chaturvedi's mother's heartwarming moment is winning the internet. Siddhant Chaturvedi, who is all set to charm the audiences with his intense performance in his romantic drama Dhadak 2, shared a heartwarming video featuring his mother. The actor took to social media to share an adorable clip of his mom excitedly deciding which saree to wear for the grand premiere of his film, which is happening later today. Her infectious enthusiasm and motherly pride lit up the screen, making the moment instantly relatable and wholesome for fans across the country. In the video, Siddhant's mother can be seen holding up different sarees. The actor shared the video with a caption that says, 'Premiere ke liye साड़ी ka selection chal raha." Recently, the actor revealed that he had already filmed a major chunk of the movie without knowing it would eventually be titled Dhadak 2 — and the first person to break the news to him was none other than Dhadak star Ishaan Khatter. During a recent promotional event, Siddhant shared the unusual anecdote. 'He [Ishaan] was the one who told me before I knew, and I had already shot half of the film by then," the Gully Boy actor recalled with a laugh. 'Without me knowing, and he knows." The surprise revelation happened when Siddhant ran into Ishaan at a film screening. Meanwhile, Dhadak 2 stars Siddhant opposite Triptii Dimri in what's being described as an intense love story. Helmed by debutante director Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions, the film serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2018 hit Dhadak, which introduced Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor to Bollywood. Unlike its predecessor, which was a remake of Sairat, Dhadak 2 adapts the critically acclaimed Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018) for Hindi audiences. With a powerful premise, a fresh pairing, and the promise of emotionally charged storytelling, Dhadak 2 is all set to hit theatres on August 1, 2025. With Dhadak 2, Siddhant Chaturvedi is all set to take on the most emotionally intense role of his career — a performance that demands vulnerability, restraint, and raw romantic depth. Known for his effortless charm in Gully Boy and brooding presence in Gehraiyaan, Siddhant is now stepping into a space that will escalate his range as an actor. view comments First Published: July 30, 2025, 19:35 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. It should be noted that this marks Samay Raina's first tour in India ever since the India's Got Latent controversy. The comedian faced a massive backlash earlier this year after an episode of the show grabbed everyone's attention in which YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia posed an offensive question to a contestant: 'Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?" The comment left many shocked and disappointed. In no time, the video went viral on social media with many, including politicians and film personalities, condemning Allahbadia's comment. Multiple FIRs were also filed against Samay, Ranveer and the show's makers. Following the controversy, all episodes of India's Got Latent were also removed from YouTube. Earlier this month, Samay Raina appeared before the National Commission for Women (NCW) and submitted a written apology expressing regret for the content shared during the episode. Meanwhile, Samay also held a tour abroad recently. As a part of his international tour, the stand-up comedian performed across Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. The international tour started in Cologne on June 5 and ended in Sydney on July 20. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Maalik Box Office Day 4: Rajkummar Rao's Film Sees Lowest Single-Day Collection With Rs 1 Crore
Maalik Box Office Collection Day 4: Rajkummar Rao's Maalik, with Manushi Chhillar and Prosenjit Chatterjee, earned Rs 1 crore on Day 4, totaling Rs 15.59 crore. Maalik Box Office Collection Day 4: Rajkummar Rao's Maalik, which hit the big screens last Friday, started its journey on a promising note with a solid ensemble cast including Manushi Chhillar and Prosenjit Chatterjee. Over the weekend, the film held its ground well. But come Monday, the film hit its slowest day yet. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, Maalik added just Rs 1 crore to its box office tally on Day 4. With that, the film's total collection now stands a little above Rs 15 crore. While the dip isn't surprising given it was a Monday (and Mondays are notorious for pulling the brakes on most theatrical runs), it's still a crucial phase for the film to maintain momentum through the week. As per early estimates, Maalik collected Rs 1.34 crore on its fourth day at the box office — its lowest single-day earnings so far. But given it was a Monday, the dip in footfall isn't entirely unexpected. The film opened with Rs 3.75 crore on Friday. Over the weekend, it gained some momentum, bringing in Rs 5.25 crore each on Saturday and Sunday. With Monday's numbers in, Maalik's total collection now stands at Rs 15.59 crore. While the weekday drop was anticipated, the film will need steady numbers through the week. On Monday, Maalik recorded an overall 8.22 per cent Hindi occupancy in theatres. Despite the dip, Rajkummar Rao's political drama is faring better than Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan, which stars Vikrant Massey and marks Shanaya Kapoor's debut. That film has struggled to make a mark since day one. However, both Hindi releases are facing a tough challenge from the international juggernaut Superman, starring David Corenswet. The superhero film has already raked in over Rs 25 crore in India over its opening weekend. Directed by Pulkit, Maalik stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. The film also features Bengali cinema icon Prosenjit Chatterjee, former Miss World Manushi Chhillar, and Saurabh Sachdeva. The supporting cast includes Saurabh Shukla, Anshumaan Pushkar, Swanand Kirkire, Rajendra Gupta, and Baljinder Kaur. The News18 review of Maalik states, 'Maalik tries hard to be the next Mirzapur but ends up feeling like its distant cousin who was never invited to the family reunion. Pankaj Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiya's Mirzapur gave us a gritty storyline and iconic one-liners; however, Maalik serves as a recycled crime saga with no real punch. The violence feels random, the plot goes haywire post-interval, and the emotional beats just don't land. It's like watching someone try to recreate a gangster masterpiece with leftover scenes from Mirzapur." Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
