Rangers first entered into a partnership with Indian club Bengaluru FC in 2019.
It saw the Gers take an 'active presence' in the football market in the country as well as strengthening scouting links.
The clubs remain partners to this day, as part as Rangers' international soccer academy.
But Bengaluru appear to be facing a bit of an uncertain future - with the status of their entire league up in the air.
The Indian Super League is scheduled to get under way on September 12 for the 2025/26 season.
But in June, the company who operate the league - Football Sports Development Limited (FDSL) - announced that the league had been put 'on hold'.
This was due to a stall in contract talks between FDSL and the AIFF, India's football governing body.
The country's Supreme Court became involved and asked the AIFF not to renew the master rights agreement with the company.
The current deal is due to expire in early December.
The AIFF will meet Indian Super League clubs on Thursday this week to discuss the situation and the future of the league.
Russell Martin doubles down on Rangers squad criticism
Amid the ongoing uncertainty, Rangers' partner club Bengaluru have paused many of their operations.
The three-time champions announced they were suspending all first team salaries.
The club also called for a resolution to the ongoing impasse.
In a statement, they said: "In view of the uncertainty surrounding the future of the Indian Super League season, Bengaluru Football Club has taken what is a very difficult decision of indefinitely suspending the salaries of players and staff belonging to the first team.
"Running and sustaining a football club in India has always been an uphill climb, one that we have put everything aside and made, season after season.
"However, the lack of clarity on the league's future leaves us with no choice but to take this step.

"The future and well-being of our players, staff and their families is of utmost importance to us and we are in touch with them as we wait for a resolution.
"The club remains committed to growing and developing the sport and our operations with our youth teams - men and women - and BFC Soccer Schools remain unaffected by this decision.
"We urge the AIFF and FDSL to end this impasse swiftly.
"The uncertainty benefits no-one and a prompt resolution is vital for the future of Indian football."
The league's uncertainty leaves the futures of several familiar faces to Scottish football fans in limbo.
Ex-Hibs, Rangers and Dundee striker Jason Cummings stars for the current champions Mohun Bagan and is one of the top paid players in the league.
Former Hibs striker Jamie Maclaren and Scotland youth cap Tom Aldred also play for the same club.

Rangers vs Viktoria Plzen LIVE score and goal updates from the Champions League clash at Ibrox

Martin wields axe in 'leaked' team Russell Martin said what many Rangers fans have felt for years about the some of the current squad members when the blazing boss went nuclear with his fizzing Fir Park post match interview. But supporters will find out if he will follow it up by actually taking drastic action when they face Viktoria Plzen in their huge Champions League third round qualifying first leg. And if the leaked team sweeping social media in the hours building up to the match are anything to go by then it seems Martin might be about to get ruthless. For a start, in the XI being bandied about there is NO place for captain James Tavernier with the skipper, despite opening the scoring against Motherwell, coming in for criticism for his part in the Steelmen's late leveller. Martin referred to players 'just jogging around' and both Tavernier and the much-maligned Kieran Dowell didn't cover themselves in glory in the build up to the late sucker punch, neither strong enough in the tackle to stop Emmanuel Longelo as he made his way into the box before the ball ended up back him to fire past Jack Butland. Tavernier has split the Ibrox support for long enough with many fans believing a succession of managers' loyalty to the long-serving skipper has cost them. And with Max Aarons a natural right back being played on the left - and looking uncomfortable - to accommodate Tavernier then it could be Martin will choose to bench Tavernier and bring Jefte into the left back slot. Martin surprised many by turning to Dowell this season when it looked like the ex-Norwich City man's Ibrox career was over when he was shipped out on loan to Birmingham City. And he hasn't made the most of his second chance in this three outings this season but with the signing of Oliver Antman and his inclusion in the Champions League squad then it wouldn't be a major surprise to see that swap, as the rumoured line-up suggests. Martin picked out Cyriel Dessers and Lyall Cameron for praise in terms of attitude amid a blast about egos in the squad and those two could also come in. And that would also see the axe fall on Nico Raskin, with Joe Rothwell's arrival squeezing him out of the position he did so well in last season, and Danilo.

What happens if you die without laving a will, say experts

'Do I need a Will' searches in the UK have risen 37% in the last year, with 88K searches a month, according to Google Trends. While it's often a hard subject to broach, leaving a will, and making our wishes known for funeral plans and what we want after we die, id one of the kindest things we ca do for our loved ones. What happens if I don't have a will? If you die without a Will, the distribution of your estate (your personal possessions, money, and property) will be dealt with under the rules of intestacy (a set of legal rules that dictate who will benefit). Sally Cook at Weightmans says: 'Not many people want to contemplate writing a Will and the implications of what that means; however, it is important to protect your family and assets by doing so. "Getting your affairs in order will provide peace of mind that your wishes will be carried out, your loved ones will be appropriately provided for, and any potential family disputes are mitigated. Inheritance tax can also be planned for in advance, allowing you to pass on more to your loved ones." Martin's talking about the importance of having a will to protect your wishes, follow this link for cheap and free wills info… #MartinLewis — Martin Lewis (@MartinSLewis) February 13, 2025 The intestacy rules are rigid and may not reflect your wishes; for example, they make no provision for unmarried partners. The intestacy rules also govern who is entitled to deal with the administration of your estate. In Scotland, unmarried partners can make a claim for a share of the estate, but this is subject to the court's discretion and there are strict timescales for applying. Where there is no Will, the cost of administering the estate may be significantly higher. In Scotland, it also becomes necessary in most cases to obtain a form of insurance bond, which adds extra expense and time to the process. Donna Brennan, a specialist in Scottish succession law at Weightmans adds: 'It is also important to ensure that you take advice in the correct jurisdiction, succession laws in Scotland and the rest of the UK are quite different, so if you are domiciled in Scotland or have assets there, appropriate advice should be taken. At Weightmans, we have experts in both jurisdictions.' Will my estate automatically pass to my spouse or partner? It is not automatic that a spouse will inherit the whole of the estate under the intestacy rules. The intestacy rules are constantly subject to change, and the outcomes of dying without a Will can be surprising and often unjust. Making a Will is the only way to ensure your loved ones are provided for in accordance with your wishes as far as possible. In Scotland, a spouse/civil partner has certain prior rights on intestacy which can exhaust the estate, but only up to a certain level, which is subject to change. The intestacy rules do not make any provision for unmarried partners. The best way to ensure a cohabiting partner is provided for is to make a Will. As mentioned above, in Scotland, cohabitees can make a claim subject to strict timeframes, but the outcome is by no means guaranteed. You should review your Will regularly to ensure it continues to reflect your wishes and circumstances As your personal and/or financial circumstances change, you should consider updating your Will. Examples include: Marriage. In England, Marriage will automatically revoke any Will you had in place previously (although this is currently being reviewed by the Law Commission). That is not the case in Scotland, and even more reason why a previous Will should be updated to ensure it benefits the intended parties. A change in family circumstances, for example, having children or grandchildren. Divorce Significant changes in your financial situation It's recommended that you look over your Will every three years to assess whether there have been any changes to the law or tax allowances which could affect your Will and wider estate planning. Recommended reading: Can I include my cryptoassets in my Will? Cryptoassets will automatically form part of your estate on death if they are held in your individual name. It is not always necessary for you to specifically include a reference to your crypto assets in your Will, but care should be taken to ensure that there are sufficient powers in your Will to allow your executors to deal with these assets after your death. It is also important that you make your professional advisor aware of any cryptoassets you may own so that they can discuss with you what provision you have made for these to be accessed after you die. Ultimately, a Will ensures that your family members receive what you intend them to when you are no longer here. Seeking robust and specialist legal advice to help you write a Will is a crucial part of that process.
