She's back! MaMkhize returns as president of Mbabane Highlanders AM FC
She entered into a three-year contract to oversee the leadership of the club.
Her appointment comes after her tumultuous exit from Royal AM FC (Pty) Ltd, which faced financial setbacks, including a R40 million tax debt with South African Revenue Services (SARS), and eventual expulsion from the Premier Soccer League.

In March, Royal AM FC (Pty) Ltd was put up for sale after the SARS curator, Jaco Venter, issued a public bid notice announcing that the club is to be auctioned to recoup the R40 million MaMkhize owed in tax.
As part of her vision, the club has been rebranded as Mbabane Highlanders AM Football Club, incorporating her son Andile Mpisane's 'AM' trademark.
The new club crest blends the original black and white colours with gold elements from Royal AM FC.
On Sunday, July 13, 2025, she took to her Instagram to announce the news via a compilation video showing her, her sister, her son - Andile Mpisane, his wife - Tamia Mpisane, and other members all dressed in all black clothes attending the ceremony and celebrating their comeback with MaMkhize also writing on her stories 'Bounce back, bounce back.'
'A new chapter written with purpose, vision and heart. Leading with honour, the Highlanders' way,' reads the caption of the video.

49ers activate Ricky Pearsall from PUP list and Brock Purdy returns to practice
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — The San Francisco 49ers activated second-year receiver Ricky Pearsall from the physically unable to perform list and he practiced for the first time this summer. Niners quarterback Brock Purdy was also back at practice Sunday after missing a session on Friday for personal reasons. Pearsall had been out since injuring his hamstring during the offseason program. The Niners are counting on a big season from the 2024 first-round pick after trading away Deebo Samuel and with Brandon Aiyuk expected to miss the start of the season recovering from knee surgery. Pearsall had a difficult rookie season, missing almost all of camp with injuries to his hamstring and shoulder and then sitting out the first half of the season after being shot in a robbery attempt in San Francisco. Pearsall returned in Week 7 and finished the season with 31 catches for 400 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games. Pearsall had a strong finish to the season with 14 catches for 210 yards and two touchdowns in the final two games. ___ AP NFL:

Revealed – How France U21 Star Will Be Used At Inter Milan Next Season
Inter Milan are planning to have Ange-Yoan Bonny be the backup to Marcus Thuram next season. This according to today's print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908. Striker Ange-Yoan Bonny joined Inter Milan this summer. The Frenchman arrived on a five-year deal from Parma. Bonny had been a Parma player for four years, having signed for the Emilian club in 2021. And last season was Bonny's first in Serie A. He made the step up well, helping Parma to remain in the top flight. Therefore, Bonny caught Inter's eye. And the fact that Cristian Chivu took over as Inter coach following his successful stint in charge of Parma certainly didn't hurt Bonny as a target for the Nerazzurri. Inter Milan See Ange-Yoan Bonny As Marcus Thuram Backup PARMA, ITALY – DECEMBER 15: Ange-Yoan Bonny of Parma Calcio reacts during the Serie A match between Parma and Verona at Stadio Ennio Tardini on December 15, 2024 in Parma, Italy. (Photo by) Clearly, Inter Milan are not planning to make Ange-Yoan Bonny a first-choice striker right away. However, that leads to the question of exactly what the 21-year-old's role will be at the Nerazzurri next season. Particularly considering the expected arrival of Ademola Lookman or a different attacker to facilitate the switch to a 3-4-2-1 formation. According to Tuttosport, Inter's plan is to have Bonny be the backup to fellow Frenchman Marcus Thuram. Clearly, Thuram will not start every match next season. And Inter's idea is that, rather than having an older player to back up the 27-year-old, Bonny can be his understudy, learning and improving.

The 'humble freak' St Kilda love and want to keep
St Kilda want Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera to stay "forever" but Saints teammate Hunter Clark says there will be no hard feelings if the matchwinning star returns to South Australia. Wanganeen-Milera wrote himself into St Kilda folklore at Marvel Stadium on Sunday, lifting the Saints to the biggest three-quarter-time comeback - 46 points - in VFL/AFL history. The silky 22-year-old kicked the final two goals in just 14 seconds of game time as St Kilda pinched a remarkable six-point victory over Melbourne. Wanganeen-Milera's soaring mark over Demons forward Bayley Fritsch to set up the game-equalling goal even prompted an emotional reaction of disbelief from usually solemn Saints coach Ross Lyon. Clark, who also produced some important moments late against Melbourne, was in awe at what Wanganeen-Milera achieved. AFTER THE SIREN TO WIN THE GAME!!NASIAH 🤯 — St Kilda FC (@stkildafc) July 27, 2025 "He's obviously got a really big decision, and he'll do what's best for himself, and there'll be no hard feelings either way," Clark told AAP. "Obviously we'd love him to stay forever; he's going to be, if he's not already, up there for one of the best players in the competition. "He's only 22 so I think his future is going to be so bright and he deserves everything that comes his way." Wanganeen-Milera remains unsigned for next season as he contemplates massive offers from Adelaide and Port Adelaide to play back in his home state. He was drafted with pick 11 out of Glenelg in 2021, playing 82 games for the Saints. St Kilda have also thrown a big contract in front of him as arguably the key player in the club's rebuild and bid for an elusive second premiership. Wanganeen-Milera, who had a game-high 34 disposals alongside his match-winning four goals, was in doubt to play against the Demons due to a stye in his eye. The club doctor called Lyon early on Sunday morning to let him know his best player was in doubt, but Wanganeen-Milera reassured his coach he would be fine. "He's an absolute freak," Clark said of his teammate's skill. "But he's such a good man. "The way he plays, almost you'd expect him to just be this real out there character, like he probably has every right to just strut around. "But he's the most humble bloke you'll come across. "He's an absolute freak of a talent, but he works as hard as anyone. It's not all just what you see on the field. "He's absolute star, and I think he's made for those moments." After just their second win since the start of May, St Kilda can take confidence out of their Marvel miracle into 2026. "If we can just finish the year strong, just keep getting experience into everyone and keep growing," Clark said. "Then just get to work over the summer. "It's not just going to happen in a day. "I see a lot of the teams over the last few years, it can take five or six years until you have gone through s**t, until you get there."
