Australian singer Delta Goodrem reflects on ‘fairytale' wedding to Matthew Copley
Copley proposed to the 40-year-old singer-songwriter, known for tracks including Born To Try and Lost Without You, at Malta's Phoenicia hotel two years ago.

Goodrem's off-the-shoulder ballgown, which featured a two-and-a-half metre train, was designed by Paul Vasileff, creative director and designer of Australian formal wear label Paolo Sebastian.
Speaking to Vogue Australia, Goodrem said: 'I wanted to feel like myself on the day. That was really important to me.
'The look needed to feel grounded amongst the fairytale. I did have to start to pull my hair back from it getting so hot in Malta!'
Goodrem's dress featured personal elements of the couple's relationship, including the wedding date, cherubs and a heart-shaped pair of swans that was embroidered onto the dress, according to Vogue Australia.
She changed into two other dresses on the day, including a high-necked design from Con Ilio, while her partner, Copley, wore head-to-toe Tom Ford with accessories from Anton Jewellery.
Speaking about their engagement, Goodrem said: 'Matt proposed to me two years ago in a very romantic setting in Malta.
'We were there playing an incredible televised festival with all of our loved ones and friends on the trip.

'A couple of days later it was just us, going to what I thought was a lovely dinner after a day out on the water.
'Matt set up an incredibly romantic scene in the iconic gardens of The Phoenicia Hotel in Valetta, overlooking the city's majestic harbour.
'White rose petals, fairylights throughout the gardens and a string quartet at sunset — it was magical.
'So it was a full circle moment getting to bring our family and friends back to the hotel for the wedding week.
'The Phoenicia and everyone there made it feel like home again.'
She added: 'Matt and I both are natural creatives. We love to create moments and we wanted everyone to have a magical time with us.
'We live incredibly busy lives and have been touring the world these past couple years.
'We had a clear vision of our very own fairytale but we couldn't have done it without a wonderful team of people bringing our dream to life.'
She continued: 'Every moment was a fairytale come true. The whole day and the week spent with everyone were beyond our wildest dreams.'

Three Australian stays have earned a spot on the global best luxury hotels list for 2025
If you've recently won the lottery (or just feel like a baller), a) we're jealous and b) we've got your next getaway sorted. A new list of The 50 Greatest Luxury Hotels on Earth has just dropped, and three of Australia's most exclusive properties were featured in 2025. The annual list is carefully curated by Robb Report ' s 'Travel Masters' – a panel of 26 luxury travel specialists who spend their days recommending the world's finest stays to some of the most discerning clients. Each expert submitted their top five picks, comprising both dazzling newcomers and old favourites across regions like Europe, America, Africa, Asia and, of course, Oceania. While only the global top ten were ranked, the remaining luxury hotels were grouped by region – and Australia claimed three of the top four spots for Oceania. The first Australian luxury hotel featured was Mt Mulligan Lodge – an underrated wilderness retreat in Outback Queensland. With a strict cap of just 28 guests at once, this majestic eco-property sits on an expansive 28,000-hectare cattle station beneath the striking silhouette of its namesake tabletop mountain. Robb Report 's Travel Masters praised Mt Mulligan Lodge for being one of the rare luxury outback retreats that welcomes children, offering plenty of activities, including quad biking, sunrise hikes, paddle boarding, barramundi fishing and starlit degustations. From a staggering $12,045 per night, the newly opened Pelorus Private Island was the second Australian hotel included in the top 50. Rising from the turquoise coral seas near the Great Barrier Reef off Queensland, this ultra-exclusive resort is accessible only by helicopter charter or private yacht. True to its name, the island hosts just one residence made up of five luxurious suites. Matt and Emma are back to present a second series of the show that follows singles who try to find their perfect partner, sight unseen, to get engaged and marry on the show. Emma said: 'We filmed it straight after the reunion for series one so the characters from season one were so fresh. I was like, 'How are we ever going to match that?' ' Matt added: 'Watching it happen, being part of the show, you're just rooting for them.' Love is Blind UK podcast gets a new host Despite the trend for shows to have celebrity spin-offs, Emma doesn't think that could ever work here. She said: 'You'd constantly be trying to guess who it was, wouldn't you? 'There'd be certain people that you'd absolutely know who it was. Imagine if Rylan was in there, or Alan Carr. 'You'd be like, 'That's f***ing Rylan!' '
