Amazon Pet Day Is Done, but These Pet-Friendly Deals Remain
First, check out our full pet cam FAQ to learn everything you should know about pet focused tech. We've also rounded up some of the best pet product deals with discounts you can still take advantage of this week (these picks in particular caught the eyes of our CNET pet owners).
Note: You do not need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber to benefit from most Amazon Pet Day discounts.
Petcube 360 Camera
Petcube's tiny 360 cam is a strong budget option for petowners.
Tyler Lacoma/CNET
Pet cams can often be pricey but this version from Petcube offers 360-degree views of your home, night vision and AI-powered pet alerts in a compact package that's quite affordable -- and now, at 20% off for Pet Day, it's one of the cheapest pet tech options available for keeping an eye on your buddy.
Veterinarian Joanne Fernandez, a Petcube expert, highlighted some uses I hadn't encountered. "In my veterinary practice and personal life, I've found pet cameras to be invaluable tools. Some of my clients and telemedicine clients have cameras in their living room to monitor their senior pet with mild separation anxiety," she said. "They can see if their pet is resting comfortably rather than pacing anxiously."
This 1080p cam also includes two-way audio for talking and sound alerts for barking, although more advanced features do require a subscription. We've tested this cam in our homes and we're fans of how easy it is to use.

Coolaro Original Cooling Dog Bed
These elevated beds are fun and keep pets cool in summer.
Coolaroo
Worried about your pup overheating in the hot weather? Coolaroo specializes in elevated doggy beds that help pets stay cool, now 50% off for Amazon's sale. The beds are portable, washable and UV-resistant so you and your pet can use them in all kinds of situations. They come in multiple sizes to fit even the biggest dogs.
Neakasa M1 Open-Top Self-Cleaning Litter Box
This self-cleaning litter box is an open design and has its own trash bag system.
Neakasa
Self-cleaning litter boxes have a habit of being expensive but 20% off on this high-tech model makes it significantly more affordable for cat lovers who want to invest. From app controls to built-in trash bags, there's not much this smart litter box can't do.
Two things in particular made us choose this discounted model. First, it's larger so even bigger, fluffier cats can use it, where many self-cleaning boxes are on the small side. Second, we've known cats who will only use an open-top litter box so it's nice seeing one when these models are usually enclosed.
Furbo 360-Degree Camera
Furbo's fun AI and 360-cam are a great combo.
Furbo/CNET
We like the expansive and often creative AI Furbo uses to give owners its best guess at what pets are doing (not always accurate, but frequently useful and sometimes hilarious). This model, at an excellent 45% off, combines that AI with a panning cam, two-way speaker and treat dispenser, available in dog and cat varieties.
The trick is that, for this low cam cost, you will need to add a Furbo Nanny subscription to unlock key features, which starts at about $5.30 per month.
PetSafe ScoopFree SmartSpin self-cleaning litter box kit
This high-tech litter box is perfect for the refined feline.
PetSafe
If your cat's at home in a litter pod, this sci-fi litter box kit includes everything you need to upgrade their bathroom time, now at 28% off. In addition to the app-controlled litter box, you also get a mat, an extra pack of waste bin bags and a collection of deodorizers to clear out the air.
The box is made for any kind of litter, and the app can track litter box use and even take a good guess at your pet's weight as they continue to use the box over time. Plus, as the box cleans itself, the fresh layer of litter makes it more friendly for multicat households when cats need to share a box.
Petlibro Cat Water Fountain
This wireless fountain doesn't have cords to chew.
Petlibro
Fresh water is vital for cat health, but getting them to drink it isn't always easy. This wireless water fountain recharges when plugged in and keeps water flowing for picky cats and small dogs. At 43% off, it's also quite affordable. The fountain holds 2.5 liters of water, is BPA-free, and features a stainless steel interior for easier cleaning. Also, the cordless design means there are no electrical cables to chew through. Just remember to keep it charged.
PetSafe Guard GPS and Tracking Collar
A digital fence collar could be just what your dog needs.
PetSafe
At 17% off, this rechargeable tracking collar allows you to set up to 20 different digital fences across 3/4 of an acre or more. It can also give you alerts and let you set a variety of control options, including tones, vibration and 10 levels of static shock. It's the most complete "digital fence" pet option we've seen, and now is a great time to get one. Just keep in mind that it requires a $10 monthly subscription to enable this collar.
PetSafe Smart Feed Electronic Feeder
PetSafe's feeder can schedule up to 12 events.
PetSafe
Pets on a diet or who like regular feeding times even when pet parents aren't home benefit greatly from automated feeders. At 13% off, you can save some money while shaving some pounds off your pet. It supports app scheduling that you can plan with your vet for the best health results, planning up to 12 meals and snack moments.
This model caught our eye for its surprising compatibility, featuring support for Alexa plus compatibility for Apple and Android phones for remote management. It also has backup batteries to keep working when the power is out and a stainless steel design that's made to be "flip proof" (although we haven't tested that part with rambunctious dogs).
Petlibro Automatic Cat Feeder with Camera
This feeding station included a built-in camera for alerts.
Petlibro
For an even more advanced version of a pet feeder, this Petlibor option includes an 1080p cam with night vision and is 34% off. The feeder allows you to set up to 10 routines and gives you motion and sound alerts, plus two-way audio. It will also send you notifications if it detects low food levels or a food blockage. If you want to save videos of your pet chowing down, you can add a microSD card for storage (not included).
Neakasa P1 Pro Pet Grooming Kit
This pet grooming vac has all the attachments you need for trimming and cleanup.
Neakasa
If your pets get a little too shed-happy, especially in warmer weather, you may need a high-tech cleaning solution for all that fur. This Neabot Neakasa kit is one of the most complete we've seen, with five different grooming heads for the little canister vacuum, and it's now 50% off. Tools include an adjustable trimming comb, multiple pet hair nozzles and more. Plus, it's designed to be low-noise so pets don't get too anxious during use.

I'll Never Go Camping Without This Backpack That Can Charge My Phone 18 Times
CNET's key takeaways This solar-rechargeable power station is also a backpack that can carry my camping essentials. I was able to charge my laptop six to nine times, my phone 18 times and my drone five times in one charge cycle. The Bluetti Handfree 2 backpack costs $599 at full price, but it is often on sale for $450. It's heavy. It weighs 16.5 pounds by itself before adding other gear. The Bluetti Handsfree 2 backpack, which is also a solar-rechargeable power station, is my new outdoor essential. This portable powerhouse lets me keep all my favorite electronics fully charged, even when I'm deep in the wilderness. The Bluetti Handsfree 2 is named CNET's best power station for camping because it's the only one -- out of hundreds we tested -- that is combined into a backpack. It can be fully-charged using solar panels or traditional wall charging. The battery pack fits into the rear pocket of a large camping/hiking backpack, with plenty of space left in the main compartment for all my other camping essentials, even food, clothes, gear or all the devices I'll be powering with the capacious battery. This latest iteration of Bluetti's portable power station isn't just for glampers like me. It's great for anyone who wants to truly work remotely or whose job takes them well off the grid. It enables the use of a huge variety of powered equipment without having to haul around a massive, traditional power station or generator. It can also be a huge boon for anyone working in emergency services, where portable backup power can be a (literal) lifesaver. My experience with the Bluetti Handsfree 2 backpack The backpack can hold 66 pounds when fully loaded, but it weighs 16.5 pounds on its own. Alan Bradley/CNET I spent several days using the Bluetti Handsfree 2 to evaluate how well it kept me connected while glamping. I took it out on the hiking trail with me for several hours and tested it with several devices and accessories. The heart of Bluetti's backpack power station is a portable battery unit, boasting an impressive 512Wh of power storage and a maximum output of 700W. The battery fits snugly inside the rear compartment of a large, 60-liter blue backpack festooned with hoops, straps and buckles. It's not the most attractive thing, but it works. The 512Wh battery's lifespan depends entirely on how you use it or which devices you charge with it. For instance, I was able to completely refill a laptop battery six to nine times, a phone 18 times and a large drone five times. It could also continuously power a 10W LED light bulb for more than 40 hours without needing to be recharged. The power station can pair with a solar panel (not included) to let you charge off-grid. Alan Bradley/CNET There's plenty of space to hang accessories, everything from camera gear to blankets or a tent. The shoulder straps include buckles to allow you to mount a GoPro or other action camera to help capture your wilderness adventures. The main compartment also has removable dividers that allow you to divide the internal space however you like or leave it as one large chamber. The Handsfree 2 offers five outputs, all of which can be used simultaneously. There's an AC output (up to 700W) for devices with a standard electrical cord, as well as two USB-C ports (100W each) and two USB-A ports (rated at 15W output each). It has enough output to power a mini-fridge to keep my favorite adult beverages icy cold, even without access to ice, and get some air circulating through my tent on hot desert nights with a full-size box fan. The power station comes with a convenient handle and fits in the backpack with other items. Alan Bradley/CNET There's an AC input and a DC/PV input to charge the battery. I plugged in a standard AC cord and got a complete charge in about an hour and 20 minutes. You can also charge it via your car. It took me almost six hours with a 12V charger or slightly over three hours with a 24V charger. The headline charging option is solar. While the Handsfree 2 doesn't come with a solar panel by default, you can get a 100W or 60W solar panel as a bundle or pick up a standalone portable solar panel ranging from 60W to 350W. At the 350W level, Bluetti says you can fully charge the battery in two hours, while on the lower end, the 60W panel would take around six hours to fill the battery from empty. Weight and durability The 60-liter backpack may look spacious, but the portable power station inside takes up a significant amount of space. Alan Bradley/CNET With the battery loaded, the Handsfree 2 weighs about 16.5 pounds. If you add significant weight with your own gear, and especially if you're carrying a tent, water bottles and other accessories on the exterior of the pack, it can get pretty heavy quickly. Bluetti says the Handsfree 2 can support over 66 pounds of load total due to its reinforced back and bottom panels. If you plan to do a lot of hiking, you may want to limit the weight of other gear you load into the Bluetti. The battery pack itself is a solid, dense brick in gunmetal gray, weighing around 15 pounds. While it's not exactly lightweight, it is lighter than other power solutions approaching its 512Wh capacity, and the way it fits into the backpack makes it balanced enough to carry with relative ease (at least for short distances). While not fully waterproof, the Handsfree 2 is water-resistant. It includes several features to keep your gear (and the battery) safe from rain, including waterproof zippers and a rain cover, and the backpack is made from splash-resistant fabric. Inside the backpack are compartments with removable dividers, letting you store camera accessories and attachments. CNET The Bluetti Handsfree 2 is a great backpack and portable power station combo for campers, hikers and photographers. Not only was I able to charge things like a phone or laptop quickly and easily (and even simultaneously), the Handsfree 2 also let me power some real luxury accessories. If the price tag is too steep but you need power on the go, you can consider a regular power bank like the InfinityLab InstaGo or Anker PowerCore for around $45. Keep in mind, though, that these portable power banks are only good for charging a phone once or twice. While technically portable, power stations have a more powering capabilities than portable power banks, but most are too heavy to lug around when hiking. Portable power stations are meant for campsites and RVs. They sometimes have wheels and can be lifted, but they are not seriously portable like the Bluetti Handfree 2, which can simply be carried with you no matter how rough the terrain is.

Get the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 For Just $10 More Than the Black Friday Price
If you're in the market for a new pair of earbuds, you're in luck. We've found a good discount on the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2. The earbuds earned a spot on our list of the best wireless earbuds as our top pick for Android owners, and right now, you can get them for $40 off. That reduces the cost to just $189. But this limited-time deal won't last long, so act fast to snag the color you want. The buds come in four colors, hazel, peony, porcelain, and wintergreen, but unfortunately, wintergreen is already sold out. The earbuds offer noticeably improved sound quality and noise cancellation compared to their predecessor. They're built with Google's powerful Tensor A1 chip and designed to offer powerful, immersive sound. It's the first time a Google Tensor chip has been featured in any earbuds, and the result is robust active noise cancellation and advanced sound. The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 earbuds deliver deep bass with 11mm drivers built in, and they have a new high-frequency chamber for a smoother treble. CNET Editor David Carnoy noted that compared to the original Pixel Buds Pro, "there's more depth and richness to the sound with better overall definition and extension." Hey did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money. These buds also got a design upgrade. Google made the earbuds 27% smaller and 24% lighter to provide a design that securely fits even more ear types. If you want to wear them during workouts, there is a twist-to-adjust stabilizer to help lock your earbuds in place while you're moving around and sweating. There's also a conversation detection feature that pauses your music and switches your earbuds to the transparency mode if you start talking. And with an impressive 30-hour battery life, you can listen to all your favorite songs, audiobooks and podcasts for hours on end without having to recharge. Why this deal matters At $189, these earbuds are a great buy with advanced active noise cancellation, impressive sound quality and a lengthy battery life. The current deal is only $10 more than the sale pricing we saw during Black Friday last year, and it's unlikely we'll see them drop lower anytime soon. But it's still a great deal on great buds.
