Adidas China Holds A 'Pet Day' With Employees In Line With Their Exclusive Pet Collection Launch
Our furbabies are what some people might call a god-sent companion that is equally the perfect company and a whole lot of cuteness. Some pet parents go to lengths to shower their pets with the best the world has to offer, with high-class meals or designer brands. The three-stripe brand has always been at the pinnacle of its marketing strategy, utilising anything and everything at its disposal. Yesterday (Sunday, 18th May 2025), Adidas launched its China-exclusive pet collection with its first ever 'Adidas Pet Day', where more than 50 employees attended with their furbabies at the Shanghai Rock Park Campground. The event featured multiple activities, such as pet sports activities with an interactive open sports area decorated with mazes and a human-sized pickleball court. The highlight of the event featured the adorable fashion show, where their newly launched pet collection went on display with the help of some puppies. The collection features a line of premium pet bags, clothes, as well as collars designed in the sports Adidas fashion. Wu Liang, Senior Director of Corporate Public Relations and Sustainability of Adidas China, comments, 'We have observed that in recent years, with the evolution of the lifestyle of the younger generation, more and more young employees have pets. By holding a Pet Day, we hope to create an exclusive 'clover time' for employees and pets, allowing people to share happiness with pets and shape a more dynamic corporate culture.' The 'Adidas Pet Day' not only provides employees with a pet-loving social platform but also brings innovative solutions to the heightening interest of urban pet living, paired with the need for high-quality pet products. In addition to the app-controlled litter box, you also get a mat, an extra pack of waste bin bags and a collection of deodorizers to clear out the air. The box is made for any kind of litter, and the app can track litter box use and even take a good guess at your pet's weight as they continue to use the box over time. Plus, as the box cleans itself, the fresh layer of litter makes it more friendly for multicat households when cats need to share a box. Petlibro Cat Water Fountain This wireless fountain doesn't have cords to chew. Petlibro Fresh water is vital for cat health, but getting them to drink it isn't always easy. This wireless water fountain recharges when plugged in and keeps water flowing for picky cats and small dogs. At 43% off, it's also quite affordable. PetSafe Smart Feed Electronic Feeder PetSafe's feeder can schedule up to 12 events. PetSafe Pets on a diet or who like regular feeding times even when pet parents aren't home benefit greatly from automated feeders. At 13% off, you can save some money while shaving some pounds off your pet. It supports app scheduling that you can plan with your vet for the best health results, planning up to 12 meals and snack moments. This model caught our eye for its surprising compatibility, featuring support for Alexa plus compatibility for Apple and Android phones for remote management. It also has backup batteries to keep working when the power is out and a stainless steel design that's made to be "flip proof" (although we haven't tested that part with rambunctious dogs). Petlibro Automatic Cat Feeder with Camera This feeding station included a built-in camera for alerts. Petlibro For an even more advanced version of a pet feeder, this Petlibor option includes an 1080p cam with night vision and is 34% off. The feeder allows you to set up to 10 routines and gives you motion and sound alerts, plus two-way audio. It will also send you notifications if it detects low food levels or a food blockage. If you want to save videos of your pet chowing down, you can add a microSD card for storage (not included). Neakasa P1 Pro Pet Grooming Kit This pet grooming vac has all the attachments you need for trimming and cleanup. Neakasa If your pets get a little too shed-happy, especially in warmer weather, you may need a high-tech cleaning solution for all that fur. This Neabot Neakasa kit is one of the most complete we've seen, with five different grooming heads for the little canister vacuum, and it's now 50% off. Tools include an adjustable trimming comb, multiple pet hair nozzles and more. Plus, it's designed to be low-noise so pets don't get too anxious during use. Amazon's Pet Day event has arrived, making it a great time to score deals on some of our favorite pet gadgets. From self-cleaning litter boxes to treat-tossing cameras and automatic feeders, these deals are especially useful if you're heading out of town this summer. Even if you're staying close to home, though, there's something for everyone, whether you want to check in on your pet while you're at work or cut down on chores. Below, we've compiled our favorite Amazon Pet Day deals, many of which have helped make life easier for many of us at The Verge. Hopefully, they'll make things simpler for you, too. If you're tired of scooping cat litter every day, the Litter-Robot 4 is here to help. Thanks to an on-page coupon, it's currently on sale at Amazon bundled with a handful of accessories — including a ramp, a fence, waste drawer liners, a LitterTrap Mat, and an OdorTrap Holder with OdorTrap Packs — for a cool $809 ($90 off), which is a new low price. The self-cleaning litter box automatically tidies up after each use, preventing unwanted smells from lingering (it even alerts you when the waste drawer needs to be emptied). The Furbo 360° Dog or Cat Camera — which lets you check in on your pet no matter where you are — is on sale for $47 ($52 off) at Amazon, which is just $2 shy of its best price to date. The Furbo features a 1080p camera with full 360-degree rotation, allowing you to check in on your pets from every angle. You can talk to them, toss treats, and even get AI-powered alerts for barking, crying, or emergencies like intruders or smoke. It can also help you monitor your pet's well-being by warning you of potential health or behavioral issues. Keep in mind that you'll need a Furbo Nanny subscription to use the camera, which starts at $5.38 a month when you sign up for a two-year subscription. The subscription lets you take advantage of all the aforementioned smart alerts for things like barking, crying, and intruders, along with cloud-based video history and daily event summaries. However, if you don't need some of those more advanced perks, Amazon is also currently selling a subscription-less model for cats and dogs for $135 ($75 off). If you're looking for an easy-to-use automatic feeder, the 7-liter WOpet Automatic Dog Feeder is down to an all-time low of $59.99 ($20 off) at Amazon right now. Despite the name, it's designed for both cats and dogs and can dispense dry food up to five times a day in set portions, which is perfect for keeping your pets fed while away. And if your pet is a bit on the chonkier side, it's also great for managing portions. It's easy to use, too; this particular model doesn't have an app or Wi-Fi, so you just need to press a few buttons to schedule. WOpet Automatic Dog Feeder $8025% off If you've got a furry friend who sheds everywhere, Amazon is selling the ChomChom roller for $19.99 when you apply the on-page coupon for 20 percent off. That's not the lowest price we've seen — the handy gadget dropped to around $12 or $13 during Black Friday — but it's still one the better prices we've seen in recent months. The reusable pet hair remover does an impressive job of picking up fur from couches, beds, carpets, and even clothes without needing sticky tape or refills. Needless to say, it's an easy-to-use tool for quick cleanups, which is why so many of us at The Verge love it. Other great Pet Day deals You can buy a bundle containing a Blink Video Doorbell, a Blink Outdoor 4 security camera, and a Sync Module 2 for $79.98 ($80 off) at Amazon, which is the best price we've seen on the bundle so far this year. Both the Blink Outdoor 4 and the 1080p Blink Video Doorbell deliver all the essentials, like motion detection, night vision, and two-way audio. The Outdoor 4 also introduces person detection and a wider field of view, which are two upgrades over its predecessor. The Sync Module 2, meanwhile, allows for free local storage and on-demand live views, though a subscription is still required for certain features. Amazon's Smart Air Quality Monitor is on sale for $54.99 ($14 off) at Amazon, which is $10 shy of its all-time low. The compact gadget alerts you when air quality is poor via voice alerts or the mobile app. It can also automatically activate Alexa-enabled devices like smart thermostats and air purifiers via Alexa Hunches, and you can set up Routines to trigger them under specific conditions. Read our review. The Ring Indoor Cam is on sale with a Ring Pet Tag for $54.99 ($15 off) at Amazon. The wired 1080p camera offers color night vision, motion-activated recording, and two-way audio, along with a physical privacy cover for disabling audio and video recording. Ring's Pet Tag, meanwhile, features a QR code linked to an app on your phone. If your pet gets lost, someone can scan the code from their collar, which will display a pet profile containing important details such as your contact information, your pet's medications, and more.
