There's endless options of things you definitely (don't) need to buy - from cute phone cases and jewellery, to homeware and even handy cleaning gadgets.

But that's not all, as there's also clothes galore and if you're a shopaholic like me, it soon becomes incredibly hard to resist.
While many have previously shared concerns on the safety of TikTok Shop as a result of the remarkably cheap prices, I can safely say that thankfully, it's not too good to be true and I have never had an issue - and you don't even want to see how huge my order history is.
Around 2.8 million UK consumers made a purchase through TikTok's e-commerce feature back in 2023, the year of its official launch in the UK.
And not only is everything really affordable, but it arrives pretty quickly too.
While delivery tends to be much quicker than that of Shein and Temu, it's often somewhere I spent money on stuff that's further clogging up my drawers.
But with summer finally here and the weather heating up, rather than adding another new bag or a fifth necklace to my collection, I decided to order myself a weeks' worth of clothes.
I spent £74.38 on seven items, which works out at just £10.62 each.
Abby
Not only did I get my hands on a dress that's perfect for brunch with the girls, but I even nabbed a frock that's great for summer.
But that's not all, as I also got a pair of trousers that are super comfy and a T-shirt that looks so much more expensive than it actually was.
So if you fancy giving your wardrobe an upgrade but are on a budget and don't have loads of cash to splash, you'll need to take notes and listen to my honest reviews...
6 Essential Safety Tips for Online Shoppers
Loving leopard
With a brunch booked in the diary with the girls, I was desperate to find a dress that was not only flattering, but bloat friendly.

This leopard print dress is a real winner

And thankfully, TikTok Shop answered my prayers with this Leopard Print Ruched Bodycon Dress, which cost me just £14.05.
Not only was I overjoyed with the price tag, but when it arrived, I was thrilled to know that it's perfect for bloated days.
Thanks to the ruched material and loud print, this frock is great at hiding my belly after guzzling numerous glasses of Prosecco and quickly scoffing a burger and fries.
To top it off, I got numerous compliments on this dress and for under £15, I think it's a real bargain.
Colour of the season
After Pantone labelled Mocha Mousse the trending color for 2025, I was eager to find a brown dress that would be great for warm days.
9
This frock is short but great for chucking on on warm days

And while this Plain Deep V Neck Sleeveless Dress might not be the best quality, for just £11.04, beggars can't be choosers.
I'd seen numerous influencers rave about this dress, which is available in multiple colours, and now it's sure to be a staple in my wardrobe this summer.
For hot days when you need something to throw on and feel cool, this is a real winner
Abby Wilson
I'll admit it's made using quite a cheap material and it's also very short, so I can't say I'll be bending down in it any time soon.
But for hot days when you need something to throw on and feel cool, this is a real winner.
Colour coordinated
Shoppers are sure to have spotted co-ords in countless high street stores, so it's no surprise that TikTok Shop has also jumped on the trend.
9
For a chic co-ord, you'll need to check out TikTok Shop

I've spent ages searching for a co-ord that's not only smart, but affordable too, and luckily, I won't need to look any further.
For only £15.94, I nabbed this Tank Top and Wide Leg Shorts Two-Piece Set, which is super reasonable for the style of this look.
TikTok's top tips, tricks and trends

The top is slightly too big for me, so I may get it altered, but the tailored shorts are super cute.
This look is spot on for a day in the office (if shorts are acceptable in your workplace) when styled with pumps or slingbacks, or even for a boozy day in a pub garden with a pair of wedges.
Style in sync
And while the smart co-ord is a winner for me, this Contrast Binding Tank Top and Wide Leg Pants Set left me with mixed reviews.

These trousers left me with mixed reviews

It was only £10.57, so thankfully it didn't break the bank, but the trousers have left me scratching my head.
The top is super flattering and will be great when paired with shorts on a warm day, but the trousers make my bum look even flatter than it already is.
Yes, they're really comfy, so will be good for chilling around the house, but the on-trend contrast binding makes it look as though I'm wearing a nappy.
They'll be fine when paired with an oversized tee, but I'll definitely have to wear a shirt over the top of these trousers to wear them to work.
Stripe hype
I'm a huge fan of stripes and this Striped Print Side Split Hem Tank Dress didn't let me down.
9
But this dress had me beaming
Credit: Abigail Wilson
It's super flattering and was only £7.30 which is a real steal.
Not only does it make my bum look bigger than it is, but it's versatile too.
I'll be wearing it to the office, to the shops and probably even for days to the beach.
Whilst it'll look great paired with trainers for a cool, casual look, it's also sure to impress with sandals too.
Get graphic
The early noughties were arguably the golden age of graphic tees, but it appears that this year, they are proving to be a real hit.

Graphic tees are super cheap on TikTok Shop

Celebrities and designers alike are capitalising on the trend, with bold T-shirts available not only in the likes of H&M and Primark, but also in Tesco and Sainsbury's too.
And this Lemon Print Round Neck Tee is a real winner - and that's not just because of its impressive £5.86 price tag.
Hottest fashion trends of 2025
Fabulous' Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend shares the biggest trends from the high street.
The East/West Bag
Baguette bags have had a good run, after returning from the 1990s' shoulders of Sarah Jessica Parker to modern-day fashion icons, like Hailey Bieber.
In 2025, the East/West bag is a similar but elongated shape and has long, thin straps that are easy to throw over your shoulder.
They've been on runway models' arms at nearly ever designer show - think Burberry, Givenchy and Bottega Veneta - and are hitting the high street now, too.
Powder pink
Bright fuchsia pink had its day after the release of Barbie in 2023 and now the more polished and expensive-looking pale shade is taking over for 2025.
Pantone may say that it's the year of Mocha Mousse, but the catwalks say otherwise! From Prada to Erdem, the subtle look was all over the spring/summer catwalks, worn head-to-toe or on its own.
If the sugary shade is too girly for you, then look to sharp suiting for a androgynous take on the colour.
The shell jacket
The '80s classic is back, but with a sleek and minimal new twist for 2025.
We all know we're likely to see rain for most of spring, so your practical coat of choice should be a cagoule jacket.
Depop revealed one of its big trend predictions for this year is retro sportswear, with surges already seen in '80s windbreakers'.
Seen everywhere from the stylish streets of Copenhagen to the Miu Miu catwalk, now mums who have an emergency raincoat crumpled underneath their pushchair are very much in fashion!
The turn-up jeans
While the shape of jeans remains the same for this year and barrel-legs will still be everywhere, the way we're styling them is different.
This season, transform your wide-leg, baggy denims into turn-ups.
For this look, size doesn't matter, so while deep turn-ups are a hit from jean trend-leaders Citizens of Humanity, a slight fold is still just as good - but only as it's just one single fold.
Peep-toe shoe
Get your pedicures booked in sharpish, as this season your toes are the main event.
After a long hiatus, the peep-toe has been welcomed back into the fashion fold, with brands like Hermes, Miu Miu and Tory Burch showing plain and embellished footwear in this style.
From mules to pumps and clogs (yes, clogs will be around too!), there are lots of different styles that are set to sweep the high street.
Sheer blouses
See-through looks have always lived on the catwalk, but have rarely filtered into everyday life - until now.
Designers Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford loved sheer looks on their S/S '25 catwalks and M&S even had sellout success with its black sheer pencil skirt last season.
Expect to see more sheer looks lining supermarket aisles and high street shops in the form of skirts, tops and frocks.
I absolutely love the oversized fit and super (unbelievably) soft material, which came at a huge surprise considering how price-friendly it is.
The vibrant colours are sure to turn heads and it's quickly going down a huge treat, as I've already worn it twice in just one week.
Vest dressed
Thankfully, celebrities such as Cara Delevingne and Kate Middleton made sweater vests cool again and while they're typically worn in autumn months, this Button Sweater Vest is a new staple in my summer wardrobe.

And this sweater vest is super versatile

It's perfect for days in the office and is great quality.
Not only is it versatile and perfect for layering on overcast days, but at just £9.62, it's great value for money.
Lots of brands and retailers do flash deals or sales that are exclusive to TikTok in the hope of attracting customers and going viral
Which? Spokesperson
I've already got plans to wear it on balmy nights in the garden with shorts or a denim skirt and my work colleagues can also expect to see it super soon.
And with very similar styles available from Reiss for £98, I'm pleased to have saved myself an impressive £88.38 with this TikTok buy.
So…why are products on TikTok Shop so cheap?
But if you're sitting there wondering why products on TikTok Shop come at a decent price, here's the deal.
The bargain prices are largely due to customers often being offered discount codes on purchases, which is particularly the case with new shoppers.
It has also been reported that TikTok charges a smaller commission rate than other sites which some sellers pass onto their customers.
TikTok also charges a lower commission rate than Amazon and eBay and some sellers pass this saving onto their customers
Which? Spokesperson
A spokesperson from Which? said: "This is partly because the social media app funds promotions to lure in customers and boost new sellers' sales.
"New customers are offered special deals, coupons and free delivery on their first order. It's also a marketing tactic: users often post videos about their amazing bargains.
"TikTok also charges a lower commission rate than Amazon and eBay and some sellers pass this saving onto their customers.
"Lots of brands and retailers do flash deals or sales that are exclusive to TikTok in the hope of attracting customers and going viral."

I tried the viral ‘53 method' to banish my ‘chins' without going under the knife and the results were astonishing
Writer Sarah Morton, a mum of two, is fed up with her double chin. Can a viral Tiktok hack get rid of it? JAW & ORDER I tried the viral '53 method' to banish my 'chins' without going under the knife and the results were astonishing SITTING in a crowded pub with a group of my journalism colleagues, I could feel my eyes starting to well up. 'Did you hear me?' a booming voice demanded. 'I said, take it on the chins.' Advertisement 6 Before applying the hack - Sarah confesses she is self-conscious over her chin and jowls Credit: Lorna Roach 6 Journalist Sarah Morton, applying the '53' make-up hack that TikTokkers claim will sculpt her jaw - without surgery Credit: Lorna Roach 6 Sarah is impressed - clever contouring gives the illusion of a facelift, making jowls fade and cheekbones pop like a real-life filter Credit: Lorna Roach A sozzled male colleague of mine who I barely knew had made a joke about my biggest insecurity in front of a group of ten people. I instinctively raised my hand to my jaw to cover my jowls. I felt embarrassed and annoyed that tears started to fall, but I couldn't stop them. I'd been ridiculed for the thing I hated most about my appearance. Fast forward several years and I've never forgotten that comment. Advertisement I'm now a 42-year-old mum, with a toddler and a new born and arguably, bigger things to worry about. But, despite many fad diets such as the 'no sugar' diet and the 5:2, personal trainers and expensive gym classes that have seen me slim down to a size 8 at my smallest, those 'chins' have remained - as have my deep insecurities. So, imagine my delight when I heard about the '53' method, a supposedly easy way to get a snatched jawline, using nothing but makeup. It's already gone viral on TikTok, with almost 30m videos uploaded to the site with the hashtag #53method featuring people trying it out and offering tips on how to do it. Advertisement In theory it seems easy enough - in order to 'sculpt' the face, you apply concealer in the shape of a '5' to each cheek, and contour in the shape of a '3' next to it. Blend, pout and enjoy a chiselled jawline. Sounds simple, but full disclosure: I've never, ever contoured before. Hailey Bieber contours her cheekbones with a 'bronzing wand' that is also a self-tanner - get her sculpted glow for $28 Up until about three years ago I didn't even use a brush to apply my foundation, I'd slather it onto my face with my fingers before puffing some loose powder on top and hoping for the best. It was only when Instagram started sneaking makeup tips into my feed that I was finally 'influenced' into buying a brush. Advertisement Clearly my algorithm was trying to tell me something. And now, as I continue to age like a corked wine, social media is at it again. With statistics indicating that 56 per cent of women with a double chin would contemplate surgery, and a whopping 36 per cent of people would avoid being photographed because of it, it seems like as good a time as any to log into TikTok and learn the art of contouring. It's long overdue. For years I'd be terrified of someone snapping a candid photo when I wasn't looking, as I would never look nice unless I was front facing, chin tilted to a perfect angle. Advertisement Frankly, it's exhausting. I thought about a thread lift, an invasive surgical method that would involve using threads to pull back the skin and create a mini face lift, but figured I'd prioritise having kids before I did anything too drastic. I even contemplated Kim Kardashian's recently launched SKIMS 'shapewear for the face' - a mask that retails at £52 and promises you a 'sculpted jawline'. However, I was slightly put off when Dr Rosh, a respected aesthetics practitioner, called the product 'an utter load of rubbish', which would have 'zero benefit.' Advertisement Since having my children, Sophie, three, and Marnie, four months, I've been surviving on Diet Coke and air as I juggle night feeds and toddler classes with my job as a writer. I don't think the fizz has helped my face. It means the spare 'gullet' beneath my pointy chin is hanging lower and seems saggier than ever. 6 Sarah used to be terrified of someone snapping a candid photo when she wasn't looking and couldn't tilt her chin to the perfect angle Credit: Supplied Without ditching my fave drink, how on earth could a simple makeup hack change that? Was the 53 method the answer to my prayers? Or was it really too good to be true? Advertisement The main draw of the method is its simplicity. I've watched various contouring videos and aside from the fact it appears to use up a hell of a lot of product, at no doubt huge expense, the whole operation looks complicated and time consuming. Some videos show the entire process done and dusted in under a minute. Which, as someone who likes to be ready in five, is very appealing. I give it a go using two products: Mac's full coverage foundation and Anastasia Beverly Hills contour palette. Top beauty trends for 2025 Hayley Walker, Beauty Expert at Justmylook spoke exclusively to Fabulous about the big beauty trends for 2025. Haircare Hair gloss treatments are a must-have as beauty enthusiasts love the salon-quality shine and enhanced colour delivered by the trending treatment. Hair glosses are multifunctional, as they nourish the hair while offering a vibrant, healthy-looking finish, combining 2025's core trends. This treatment is perfect for those seeking an affordable, at-home glow-up. 2025 will focus on skin repairing and texture-enhancing treatments. Skincare Rejuran treatment, a celebrity-endorsed procedure, will see a rise in demand this year as many seek to enhance their skin's appearance. The procedure entails injecting polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA to enhance skin texture and elasticity. 'Rejuvenation is expected to dominate 2025 skincare trends as many seek to achieve a flawless, youthful complexion. Skincare will also include back-to-basic products for a simplified routine. Ginseng cleansing oil and panthenol cream are among the trending products for 2025. The cleansing oil is excellent for dissolving make-up and impurities without clogging pores and is enriched with nourishing properties to leave the skin feeling and looking refreshed and radiant. Make-up Make-up trends will follow suit to achieve youthful and radiant looks. Under-eye brighteners will be sought-after products for delivering coverage while enhancing natural radiance. These lashes bring the glam to glamorous looks as they deliver dramatic volume to enhance everyday or special occasion looks. Peel-off lip stains circulated the beauty industry in 2024 and are expected to dominate in 2025. The growing popularity of this product is due to its ability to provide long-lasting, transfer-proof colour to lips, enhancing a natural aesthetic. Additionally, cherry-coded aesthetics are expected to be everywhere this year as the deep, rich hue can be achieved using peel-off lip stains or bold lip looks for a dramatic effect. Nails 2025 will be another year of countless, show-stopping nail trends. Goddess Nails and Aura Nails deserve an honourable mention as these designs channel an ethereal, celestial aesthetic for bold, self-expressing nails. I've now watched many 53 videos for research, to try and perfect the technique but on my first try with actual makeup I find it quite difficult. I have to keep practicing the shape with a clean brush and then I have to ensure I use enough product. It turns out you need a fair bit of it to make it work. Luckily, I have makeup artist Lisa Sloneem on hand to help me and with some gentle guidance from her, I'm finally done. My face feels heavy and I worry that in daylight I'm going to look like a clown. I'm not used to wearing so much product. But that's beside the point, I want to see if this really will give me the 'snatched' jawline it promised. Advertisement And the answer is… it really does. There's no doubt that when done right, the 53 method can give you the illusion of a firmer jaw. The trusty jowls are still there, but I must confess they aren't as noticeable. The colour on my cheekbones seems to make my whole face more angular, the contouring has worked as a mini facelift, it makes it look like everything is pulled up towards my eyes. It's incredibly clever. I look like I've been airbrushed. 6 First up, it's Mac's full coverage foundation Credit: MAC Cosmetics 6 And Anastasia Beverly Hills contour palette Credit: Boots Advertisement That said, I'm not sure I'd be inclined to do this daily. Yes, once you get the hang of it it's not that difficult to master. But you use a lot of product and it takes a lot longer than the speedily edited TikTok vids would have you believe. Lisa agrees. 'It's not as straightforward as you'd think, it takes a lot more blending and a lot more time,' she says. 'In terms of the positioning of the 5 and the 3, it's a good hack. The numbers highlight the face in the perfect way to lift the face, so it's great for beginners but you need to take time to blend properly.' I get home to show my partner Jamie, who seems fascinated by the artistry. 'Your face is a different colour,' he muses, helpfully. However, he doesn't mention my chins – or lack of - which was my main aim for trying this. Advertisement As one of three people, along with our daughters, who look at my face the most, he is used to me, and it's clear that the method hasn't made a big enough difference for him to comment. Maybe if there was a big night out or a family photoshoot or something similar, I'd dig out the foundation and contour again. But as a regular solution for the jowls, it's not worth the effort to do daily. I'd better start saving for that thread lift.

Wife insists ‘3-hour night' is perfect for saving your marriage – you don't even need to spend full time with husband
A WIFE is sharing her secret '3-hour rule' that keeps her marriage alive, and other married couples can't get enough of it. TikToker Rachel Higgins posted a video sharing the simple way she and her husband manage to reconnect after long days. 2 Higgins and her husband began following a three-hour night back in 2024, and the mother said it has been a 'game changer' in their relationship. What is the three-hour night? Higgins explains it as dividing up three hours into three different sections, which allows them to accomplish chores and connect. Higgins and her husband would previously spend the entire night taking care of their young daughter, lounging on the couch while scrolling through their phones, and then going to bed. However, after prioritizing their relationship, their nights take on a slightly different look. 'What we do is after my daughter goes to bed…we take an hour of productive time,' Higgins explained. 'Anything that's productive for the household.' During the productive hour, they do chores that they couldn't accomplish throughout the day, such as cleaning the kitchen or laundry. 'The second hour we're dedicating to our marriage. 'During this time, we put our phones away and we're solely dedicated to each other and to our marriage.' Higgins said that this hour can look a little different every night. How can I bring up kinks with my partner? Some nights it may mean taking a shower together, while others it may just be as simple as playing a game together. The purpose of this hour is to debrief, discuss, and connect. 'The last hour is about taking time to yourself,' she said. In the final hour, both of them can do whatever they want without judgment. Carson Daly's relationship rule In 2024, Carson Daly revealed his secret relationship rule to People: Daly told People that he and his wife, Siri Pinter, sleep in separate rules. 'It's been good for us,' said the Today host before revealing that he and Siri 'secretly love it.' Daly isn't the only celebrity to participate in the "sleep divorce" trend. Cameron Diaz said in 2023 that she and her husband Benji Madden also sleep in different rooms. 'We should normalize separate bedrooms,' she said. "To me, I would literally, I have my house, you have yours." This may be lying on the couch, on your phone, or any other self-care activities you need to do. 'Main point is to inspire you to be intentional with your time if you feel stuck doing the same thing every night like we did,' Higgins wrote in the comments. 'No hard rules.' Higgins said that they don't necessarily accomplish their three-hour night goal every night, but they try to do it three to four times a week. The mother said that even just succeeding one night a week can be enough. Higgins' three-hour night drew the attention of over 300,000 TikTok users, with many people rushing to the comments to support the idea or question how she manages to make it work.
