Twilight star Kristen Stewart marries long term girlfriend Dylan Meyer on Easter Sunday

Stewart and Meyer, who went public on Instagram with their relationship in October 2019, got engaged in 2021.
Twilight star Kristen Stewart has married her long term girlfriend Dylan Meyer in an Easter Sunday ceremony.
Stewart, 35, and Meyer, who went public on Instagram with their relationship in October 2019, got engaged in 2021.

Stewart, who played the lead female role of Bella Swan in the movie adaptations of Stephenie Meyer 's best-selling novels about a girl who falls for a vampire, wed Meyer in Los Angeles.
The couple exchanged vows at home in front of an intimate group of loved ones — including Ashley Benson and her husband Brandon Davis — after obtaining a marriage license at the courthouse.
That year, Stewart joked that Meyer, 37 — who is the daughter of Oscar-nominated screenwriter Nicholas Meyer — beat her to the punch and was the one who proposed.
"It's not a given that I would be the one, you know what I mean? Like, with two girls, you never know, like, who's going to fulfill what weird f****** gender role thing and we don't do that or think about it in those terms," the actress told shock jock Howard Stern.
"So I was like, 'Wait, well, I'm not the one for sure.' And so I was kind of joking for a bit, like, 'No, I want to be the one to propose, like, I want to be proposed to' and then she just grabbed that bowl and made it happen. It was f****** so cute," she continued, adding that Meyer "knocked it out of the park" with her proposal.

Stewart had previously opened up to Stern about the first time she told Meyer she loved her.
"It was really late and we were in some s******* bar, and her friends were there or whatever and they walked out, and I was just like, 'Oh, man, I'm so f****** in love with you.' Like, done," she said. "It wasn't like 'a thing,' and it also was so obvious."
In early 2022, Stewart shared an update on her wedding plans, telling late-night host Stephen Colbert that she'd like to have a "big party or something" — but that she could also envision just deciding to get married on the spur of the moment.

"We might just go do it this weekend, I don't know, and then, like, just hang out with everyone afterwards," she said. "I just want to do it, you know? I'm not a good planner. I can't make plans for dinner."
Stewart later told CBS This Morning that the wedding would "happen when it's supposed to happen," adding, "But I also don't want to be engaged for, like, five years. Like, we want to do it, you know what I mean?"
Though the pair has kept their relationship pretty private over the years, they have offered rare glimpses into their love story. In a 33rd birthday tribute to Stewart in April 2023, Meyer affectionately referred to the Spencer star as her "favourite Shrimp."

"Sweetheart, I love you more than all the shades of green, all the phases of the moon, all the cats in LA. Love you more than chunking express, or Denis Johnson's already dead, or the stooges' raw power," Meyer wrote on Instagram. "I love you more than a dominos pizza when you're stoned, a Ricky's fish taco when you're hungover, and EVEN more than a plate of wings — hot and extra crispy — from rustic, aka the pinnacle of my capacity to love."
She continued, "Some might say that's too much love but I say those people are squares. Go big or go home! Happy birthday dude I love you so much."
When Meyer shared her first photo with Stewart on Instagram in October 2019, capturing the couple kissing, she wrote, "Find me under the covers hiding from the happiness police."

Conor Maynard speaks on paternity drama and ‘really difficult' past year

Singer Conor Maynard has spoken about his paternity drama with The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton and said the last year has been 'really difficult'. Chilton publicly claimed last year that the R U Crazy singer is the father to her daughter Penelope, who was born in October 2024. Advertisement In March this year, the music artist, 32, said in a social media post that he had taken a paternity test and that the results 'confirm that I am not Penelope's father'. Maynard, who had maintained his silence prior to the social media post in March, told ITV's This Morning: 'One of the main reasons I felt like right now was the right time to speak about it was because … the last year has been really difficult, and mental health is something that I've struggled with for a big portion of my life. 'Obviously, this most recent year has been definitely up there, in terms of my experience and my battle with it, and I've never really shied away from that in the sense, you know, my fans who follow me online and on social media, I've spoken about it openly before. 'Today I've released a brand new song, which goes quite deeply into my battle with anxiety and obviously there have been a lot of things that have happened, and there's a lot of things that have contributed to why things have been so difficult.' Advertisement He continued: 'What was probably one of the most difficult aspects of the entire situation was it was so kind of shocking to me how it seemed like there was such a failure from the public, and also sometimes even from the press, to require proof before condemning me for something that, obviously, ultimately ended up being false and being not true.' He added: 'It was just very difficult to kind of understand that this was all happening without anyone really knowing the true story, or anyone really knowing whether or not it was completely true. 'I think what was difficult for me was, instinctively, you want to defend yourself, you want to be able to speak your side, but I didn't know what was true and what was not.' Asked if he been told about about Chilton's pregnancy before the media storm, he said: 'I was aware of the situation before, however I had no idea that it was going to go to the press. Advertisement 'I didn't know any of that was going to happen. In my mind, it was like, well, obviously the natural proceeding would be to get a test to basically make sure that everything is 100% certain, and then obviously we deal with it accordingly. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Conor Maynard (@conormaynard) 'Obviously, that's not the way it went. And I think it was difficult to remain silent.' He added: 'I instantly was painted as a deadbeat dad and … all of my comments across all of my social media was very much all about that. 'As I said, instinctively you want to defend yourself … but I also felt like it wasn't right to speak on it until I knew the truth myself, and I didn't want to force that, I obviously researched paternity tests and that kind of thing, and I know that it can be considered dangerous for a child that isn't born yet, and also when they're very early in life. Advertisement 'I was kind of just waiting and allowing that decision to come from the other side.' Maynard confirmed the two had initially met at a party with her other Traitors contestants. Chilton told the It Can't Just Be Me podcast in October 2024 that they met at Raffles hotel in London for a Traitors after-party organised by winner Harry Clark, whose girlfriend, Anna, is the sister of Maynard. Chilton has been approached for comment. Advertisement

Danny Jones' wife Georgia appears to snub him in brutal online move after cheating claims

McFly's Danny Jones and his wife Georgia Horsley are said to be 'like passing ships in the night' as they try to move on from the moment Danny was pictured snogging Maura Higgins. Earlier this year, McFly frontman Danny Jones and his wife Georgia faced a challenging period after Danny was caught on camera kissing his I'm A Celeb campmate Maura Higgins at a glitzy showbiz bash. Nearly two months on from the scandal, which saw Danny publicly apologise, the couple, Danny, 39, and Georgia, 38, are said to be like 'ships passing in the night'. The I'm A Celebrity winner and his campmate Maura were spotted sharing a tipsy kiss at a raucous BRIT Awards afterparty, reportedly partying together until the early hours of the morning. Georgia, who shares son Cooper with the McFly star, temporarily moved out of their family home following the incident. ‌ However, she returned after Danny issued a public apology to her and their son. ‌ Meanwhile, former Love Island contestant Maura, 34, has kept quiet about the incident, focusing instead on new career ventures and enjoying trips away with friends, reports the Mirror. As the couple navigate their way through life post-scandal, Georgia provided fans with an update on her 'life lately', sharing a series of photos on Instagram. ‌ The images posted by Georgia show her spending quality time with friends, working on upcoming projects, and cherishing moments with her son Cooper, who is seen strumming a guitar and posing with friends before tackling a Go Ape course. As Georgia uploaded the collection of images, she captioned it: "Life lately... Friends, family, filming, fresh air and fun... lots of lovely fun", accompanied by a blue heart emoji. Yet Danny was conspicuously absent from the 16 photos shared by Georgia. ‌ This apparent omission on Instagram has raised eyebrows, especially amidst rumours that Georgia and Danny, who tied the knot a decade ago after first crossing paths in 2009, are experiencing a 'ships in the night' phase as they work through a challenging period. ‌ An insider reportedly told the Daily Mail: "Danny and Georgia have been trying to navigate a very difficult time in their marriage and for the best part they have been taking each day as it comes. "They may be living under the same roof, but they barely see each other and right now are like passing ships. "Danny is preparing for his summer gigs with McFly, and Georgia has been attending influencer events and collaborating with brands, all while looking after son, Cooper, who regularly features on her Instagram profile." ‌ The source further suggested that when not working, Danny often takes off on his motorbike or hits the gym, whereas Georgia tends to spend her time alone or with family and friends. The couple hasn't been spotted together in public for six weeks, sparking speculation that their relationship is far from typical at the moment. In the wake of the kissing controversy, Danny extended a public apology stating: "Hello everyone, sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately. "I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny." On the other hand, Maura has not made any comments regarding the incident.
