South Korean star Kim Soo Hyun has been making headlines for a long time now. Alas, for all the wrong reasons. He has been accused of dating the late actress Kim Sae Ron when she was just a minor. Amid all this, it has now been reported that Kim Soo Hyun has reportedly climbed to the top 3 in the star power list despite the ongoing controversy.
Reportedly, Kim Soo Hyun has been able to land in the top three spot on a popular fan-voting platform, South Korea's Star Ranking. He has also surpassed the country's favourite producer, singer, and philanthropist, Kim Nam Gil. If a report by Naver News is to be believed, Soo Hyun was at the bottom of the chart until last week. However, it saw a sudden surge in voter support in the 110th round of the weekly male actor poll.
Another report by AllKpop claims that during the 109th round, Kim Nam Gil was in third place on the list, whereas Kim Soo Hyun was on number seven. However, in the next round, Soo Hyun received a total of 11546 votes. With this, he not only dethroned Kim Nam Gil but also joined Lee Jun Ho and Byun Woo Seok as the third most popular on the Star Power list.
Recently, Kim So Hyun's Chinese fan club, which has over one million members, also took to the streets in Seoul to extend their support for the actor. The fans walked across the streets with a massive LED truck display, driving around with messages of hope and solidarity. Around 25 such LED trucks were deployed in Seoul, with the slogan, which read, 'Truth Will Prevail." Some trucks were also parked outside Disney Korea's office to express disappointment after the shoot of Soo Hyun's next show, Knock Off, was halted.
Kim Soo Hyun has been accused of dating the late actress Kim Sae Ron when she was just a minor. So far, the latter's family has made several allegations against Soo Hyun. However, Kim Soo Hyun recently held a press conference and addressed allegations. He said, 'I'll address the biggest concern—I did not date the deceased when she was a minor. We dated five years ago for about a year, long before Queen of Tears aired."

Jin, the eldest member of BTS, has reportedly bought another house in Seoul. As per Korea JoongAng Daily, Jin purchased his new home for 17.5 billion won ($12.9 million), all in cash. Citing real estate sources, the report said that Jin didn't take out any loans to make the purchase. This makes it Jin's third home in Hannam The Hill. Hannam The Hill is one of Seoul's most high-end apartment complexes. It has 600 units in 32 buildings, each 12 stories tall. Many celebrities, including Lee Chul, Choo Hyun, So Ji-sub, and Han Joo, also live there. As per Allkpop, Jin purchased his first 614-square-foot residence at Hannam The Hill in July 2018 for 1.87 billion won ($1.52 million). He sold it, and in July 2019, he purchased a larger 2,508-square-foot residence there. It was worth 4.49 billion won. This was followed by Jin buying a second home there in November 2019 for 4.27 billion won. Meanwhile, Jin will hold his first-ever solo fan concert tour in June. The tour will take place at the Goyang Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang (South Korea) on June 28-29 from 7 pm.
