Super Happy Forever review – glowing love story in reverse with echoes of Before Sunrise
It's hard to see where the happy fits in, until the film flips back in time. In the same hotel five years ago, Sano first claps eyes on his wife Nagi (Nairu Yamamoto) in a chance meeting in the hotel lobby. Yamamoto gives the performance of the film as aspiring photographer Nagi: funny, scatty and earnest. She plays it so naturally, so true to life, that Nagi feels like someone you might have actually met. She and Sano wander around town, young and free: dancing in a club, eating instant noodles. There is a glow to these scenes, a bit like in Richard Linklater's Before Sunrise, which similarly bottles the heart-flutter moment of something clicking, flirtation that feels like more than flirting.
In essence it's a love story in reverse. In the part set five years earlier, director Kohei Igarashi's script becomes almost like a mystery, following the clues dropped like a trail of crumbs in the first part. (So that explains why he's so desperate to find the red cap!) A young Vietnamese chambermaid who works in the hotel plays an important role – and the point is gently made that she doesn't have the luxury of wafting around town for a day.
There is something in here about chance and fate, but the film is too natural, too intimate to go too heavy on themes. It is gentle, straightforward drama, beautifully acted and emotionally tuned in. Its message is obvious but true: things can be super happy, just not forever.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 1 Review – The worst possible spin-off
Season 1 Episode Guide Episode 1 -| Review Score – 3.5/5 Episode 2 -| Review Score – 4/5 Episode 3 -| Review Score – 2.5/5 Episode 4 -| Review Score – 3.5/5 Episode 5 -| Review Score – 2.5/5 Episode 6 -| Review Score – 3.5/5 Episode 7 -| Review Score – 3.5/5 Episode 8 -| Review Score – 1/5 Episode 9 -| Review Score – 2/5 Episode 10 -| Review Score – 2/5 Episode 11 -| Review Score – 1.5/5 Episode 12 -| Review Score – 3/5 Episode 13 -| Review Score – 1.5/5 While My Hero Academia focuses on people studying to become the official protectors of their country, its spin-off, Vigilantes, delves into a more shadowy place. Koichi, Knuckleduster, and Pop☆Step work to protect their city without having a legal Hero License. That means not only are the villains out to get them, but also the police and professional heroes too. This leads them to a new drug, Trigger, which affects citizens' senses and makes them go berserk. Still, these 'instant-villains' appear to be mere pawns in a much bigger game. So, the vigilante group investigates the incidents while clashing and secretly collaborating with heroes. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has a good premise that can distinguish the series from the original show. However, it already fails at this most basic element. What are the differences between heroes and vigilantes? Is it only the legal issue? If so, why is it important that people have a professional license to protect others? This could go on, but it'd be pointless as the anime doesn't answer any of them. It does go a little in-depth into the history of vigilantism in one episode, which is quite interesting. However, it feels like a passing concern only. The protagonist group only clashes with heroes during one episode, and being vigilantes never actually affects them. If you didn't start watching it from episode one, you probably wouldn't even know they aren't heroes. It's a real shame the show doesn't explore what could be such an interesting dynamic. But that's only a taste of how much Vigilantes doesn't care about its premise. The Trigger drug is only a major threat for about two episodes, then it's quickly side-lined. In fact, after a while, it becomes just another unimportant element of the series. It's used for jokes, or we see the instant villains being defeated by unrelated heroes in seconds. Before even reaching the middle of the first season, the anime's two most important plot points almost completely lose their effect. How is the audience gonna find them interesting, if even the show doesn't do that? Not to mention, these villains have another problem: a lack of creativity. The drug also affects people's powers, making them more unstable and powerful. It could be the opportunity to show new sides of the powers and transformations, which are always popular among anime fans. Instead, the villains always just become a giant version of their normal selves. It's a disappointing and lazy design work. In contrast, Knuckleduster's story is handled very well. It's the best thing about MHA: Vigilantes. He doesn't have powers, making us question why he cares so much about helping people. With that alone, his views on justice already become way more interesting. And he also has an important connection to the Trigger drug, which helps keep us engaged in the plot. He brings all the action, suspense, and even emotion viewers could want from a show like this. Unfortunately, his screen time isn't long enough to save the whole series. However, more unfortunate than that is knowing we can't say the same thing about the other main characters. Koichi and Pop don't need the same amount of development, as the show can focus on them in later seasons. Still, it barely establishes anything about them besides basic personality traits. Koichi is the protagonist, but he has almost no highlights in this season. To say more, if you excluded him from the plot, the most important points of the story would still play out similarly. He wants to be a hero more than anything and has a pure desire to help people. In the first few episodes, we see the lengths he would go to prove that. However, he never goes that far again and becomes sort of a comic relief. Meanwhile, Pop☆Step has no reason to even be there, and the anime can't convince you she has one. There's one episode in which the citizens talk about each vigilante, and every one of them reduces her to her body or having a revealing outfit (quick reminder that she's about 14, which makes it even worse). Anime often has problems creating a good female character for trios, and this is true for Vigilantes. However, unlike Naruto or Attack on Titan, only one member of the team can be seen as well-written. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has potential, but it seems it refuses to do anything interesting with it. So, we end up with just another forgettable spin-off that fails at almost everything.

Joy-Anna Duggar gives heartbreaking update after daughter's stillbirth
gave a heartbreaking update after her daughter Annabell's stillbirth at 20 weeks in 2019. The TV personality, 27 - who shares three children with husband Austin Forsyth - reflected on the miscarriage as she opened up about her grieving process on the latest episode of her sister's Jinger & Jeremy podcast. Six years earlier, Joy-Anna had revealed the devastating news about the stillbirth and expressed at the time that their daughter 'will be in our hearts forever.' While talking to her siblings Jinger and Jessa - who both experienced the same loss - Duggar said that she 'did have kind of a gut feeling of something may not be right.' She added, 'But also I'm like, "I don't want to over exaggerate." I don't want to read into things...I just remember feeling so numb leaving the ultrasound.' Joy-Anna also got candid about the emotional toll of still having to deliver her baby girl at 20 weeks. 'That was extremely hard, having to go through the whole delivery process.' Six years earlier, Joy-Anna had revealed the devastating news about the stillbirth and expressed at the time that their daughter 'will be in our hearts forever' She explained that she was grateful her mother, Michelle Duggar, was by her side because she 'had been through it before.' 'And I had a really good support team, but even with all of that, it was extremely difficult.' Joy-Anna admitted that there is 'no set timeline' when it comes to both physically and emotionally recovering when it comes to coping with loss. 'You have to kind of move on, and [someone] told me, they're like, "I went through a loss and it took me a long time. There's no set timeline,"' she said. 'When I've talked to other people, I've shared that with them. Like, "Hey, it took me six months." I felt like I was in a cloud for six months. I felt like I was in a fog.' Duggar continued, 'You know, it's postpartum, your body's going through kind of a shock. And then that timeline is going to be different for people.' The star then offered advice to others who experienced loss as well, and expressed, 'Don't put yourself on this, "I have to bounce back." 'There's going to be days where you can have joy, but the next day may be really hard, and you're hit with that grief again. There's no set timeline.' The star then offered advice to others who experienced loss as well, and expressed, 'Don't put yourself on this, "I have to bounce back"' During the episode, she also recalled finding 'peace and comfort' through visualizing God holding their daughter. 'For me, I guess, everybody would say, "Oh you're so strong. You're handling this so well." And inside, like, you're freaking out. You're like, "I don't know what's going on." And I kept telling everybody, I was like, "It's not me."' Joy-Anna added, 'And that's the one thing I look back on. And I'm like, even in like the darkest days of my life I still look back at that and I'm like there was an unexplainable peace and comfort. 'Not that what I'm going through is okay, but like - the peace and the comfort that God gave during that time. He was just like, "You're going to be okay. You're going to come out on the other side of this."' Duggar continued, 'The visual of God holding Annabelle - "In the arms of Jesus" is what we put on her tombstone. Just that visual for me, I guess, gave me a whole other view of it...' Earlier this month, Joy-Anna took to her Instagram page to pay tribute to her daughter on her 'heavenly 6th birthday.' She uploaded a black and white image of her baby girl's feet as well as other images in memory of Annabelle. In the caption, Duggar wrote, 'happy heavenly 6th birthday Annabell Elise Forsyth ~ July 1, 2019 ~.' 'We only had her for 20 weeks, Life is fragile and precious. So thankful the Lord gave her to us for that short time! She will be in our hearts forever!' Duggar and Forsyth had penned Back in 2019, Joy-Anna got candid about the stillbirth and had an emotional photo shoot with her daughter inside the hospital. She shared some of the images to social media at the time as both she and her husband Austin paid tribute to their baby girl. 'We only had her for 20 weeks, Life is fragile and precious. So thankful the Lord gave her to us for that short time! She will be in our hearts forever!' Duggar and Forsyth penned. The TV personality - who is known for starring with her family on 19 Kids And Counting - is also mom to Gideon, seven, Evelyn, four, and Gunner, two, whom she shares with Austin. Last year during an appearance on The Unplanned Podcast, Joy-Anna got candid about experiencing post-partum depression which was at its worse after her youngest child was born in 2023. 'The postpartum stuff did not hit until probably two and a half months postpartum, and then everything crumbled after that,' she said. Duggar then emotionally added, 'I kept thinking I should have it all together. I'm seasoned. I shouldn't be struggling with this. I had to work through just from rock bottom, like, "Okay, where am I gonna go from here?" 'The postpartum stuff did not hit until probably two and a half months postpartum, and then everything crumbled after that,' she said 'I just kind of wanted to sulk in it for a while, but I knew that that was not healthy for our marriage, for my kids.' The star continued, 'I finally got to a point I was like, "I'm not doing good. I'm struggling. Do I even want to be here?"' Duggar then sought help while also working out and eating healthier which resulted in her seeing 'a huge drastic change.' 'I was just fighting, fighting, fighting for months and months to feel better,' she explained, before adding, 'I also wouldn't change that season for anything...I've grown so much.'

Braless Bianca Censori puts on a shocking display in see-through outfit while husband Kanye West covers up
Bianca Censori put on a cheeky display in a daring ensemble while stepping out by herself in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The 30-year-old wife of Kanye West stunned as she went braless underneath an ultra tight, black top with the sleeves rolled up teamed with a pair of micro shorts. During the outing, she was spotted walking out to a shiny, black sports car with nothing else but her phone and car keys in hand. This comes after the rapper, who now goes by a new moniker, was denied entry to her native Australia to meet her family after his visa was canceled due to his offensive behavior. The model — who reportedly gets paid 'hundreds of thousands' by West every time she steps out in the stunt outfits that he chooses for her — got into the driver's seat by herself before the disgraced musician later joined her, ducking his head as he got into the car. Her bold outfit albeit cheeky was relatively conservative compared to some of her recent looks, such as when she posed in a see-through slip in a raunchy, nearly nude photoshoot with her husband. For her outing with him after returning in southern California, Censori sported knee-high, leather boots with a flip-flop sandal style and a chunky heel. She left her long, jet black hair down with blunt-cut bangs grazing her lashes. Just the day before, the Aussie architect shared another set of jaw-dropping photos from her latest photo shoot with her husband while she has been posting sizzling polaroid images to her Instagram this week. On Tuesday, she gave fans another glimpse at her enviable figure with three more snaps. In one of the photos, which were taken by the rapper, she was pictured on her knees leaning backwards while wearing a sheer tube top and pulling down her stockings with one hand. Another one of the retro style snaps featured her seemingly naked from the side, wearing high heels, with one of her legs extended in the air. A third image showed her in a shaggy blonde wig and straddling the carpet while shooting a seductive glance at the camera with a hand placed in her mouth. 'Shot by @ye,' she captioned all three of the images. The day before, she sent pulses racing while posing braless in a plunging white bodysuit that highlighted her ample cleavage. The brunette beauty — who recently shocked onlookers as she stepped out in candy lingerie — rocked a blonde wig for the occasion, along with white stockings and light pink heels. A day prior, she shared similar images, wearing a strapless see-through nightie draped over a set of white lingerie. During the outing, she was spotted walking out to a shiny, black sports car with nothing else but her phone and car keys in hand Ever since they secretly tied the knot in 2022, Censori has consistently shocked fans with the barely-there ensembles her husband styles for her. It comes amid recent reports that West pays Censori to wear some of her head-turning looks. It is claimed that West chooses her daring looks to not only aid in keeping his 'edgy persona' but to also show that his wife is 'the sexiest woman alive', according to a source who spoke with The U.S. Sun. The source stated that while some of the outfits she wears in public 'aren't to her taste' — she has since learned how to make it an 'advantage.' 'Bianca has figured out how to turn all this into her advantage. A lot of the outfits aren't to her taste. But she tells him she will wear them — if she's paid.' The Heartless rapper had allegedly offered his wife a salary wage to don head-turning ensembles, but she turned that down, and instead requested that she be paid based on each look. The source added that they believe Censori has made around $3 million due to the deal and said, 'She's essentially monetizing her image.' One outfit that she reportedly was paid $120k to wear was the naked dress ensemble at the 2025 Grammy Awards back in February. The latest post comes four days after it emerged West's visa to her native Australia has been canceled. Ever since they secretly tied the knot in 2022, Censori has consistently shocked fans with the barely-there ensembles her husband styles for her. It comes amid recent reports that West pays Censori to wear some of her head-turning looks; pictured February in Los Angeles Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke has revealed that West is being denied entry to the country over his antisemitic song praising Adolf Hitler. The track, titled Heil Hitler, was dropped by the singer on May 8 and was deemed to be 'promoting Nazism'. As a result, officials revised West's 'lower-level' visa and came to the decision that it would be revoked. 'He's been coming to Australia for a long time. He's got family here and he's made a lot of offensive comments that my officials looked at again,' Burke told the ABC. 'Once he released the Heil Hitler song, he no longer has a valid visa in Australia. 'It wasn't a visa for the purpose of concerts. It was a lower-level and the officials still looked at the law and said, you're going to have a song and promote that sort of Nazism, we don't need that in Australia.' West has flown to Australia in the past, and was most recently believed to be planning a trip Down Under to visit the family of his Australian wife.
