"I read the first two episodes of the forthcoming HBO Harry Potter series and they are SO, SO, SO GOOD!" Rowling, 59, said in an X post.
When a fan asked whether she is "doing the writing" for the series -- which is set to film this year and air in 2026, -- she clarified the nature of her involvement in a reply, reported People.
"No," Rowling wrote, "but I've worked closely with the extremely talented writers."
Since the author's involvement was announced, the series has faced continued backlash over her anti-transgender comments.
In April, the head of HBO weighed in, stating that the network's choice to work with Rowling "is not new," reported People.
In 2024, JK Rowling, the renowned author of the beloved Harry Potter series, has lashed out at the double standards exhibited by colleagues who publicly criticized her views on transgender rights while privately seeking to maintain their friendship. The acclaimed writer shared her sentiments in an extract from the forthcoming book, 'The Women Who Wouldn't Wheesht,' published by The Times of London.

Gardiner and Mylod said in a press release that they were "delighted to announce we have found our Harry, Hermione, and Ron" following an "extraordinary search" for the iconic roles, reported People.
"The talent of these three unique actors is wonderful to behold, and we cannot wait for the world to witness their magic together onscreen," the duo continued of McLaughlin, Stanton and Stout. "We would like to thank all the tens of thousands of children who auditioned. It's been a real pleasure to discover the plethora of young talent out there."
An official release date for HBO's Harry Potter series has yet to be announced, reported People.

Exclusive - Paras Kalnawat opens up about his recent heartbreak; says 'I'm doing much better now, and I'm ready to use those emotions in my performance in Parineetii'

Paras Kalnawat has recently joined the show Parineetii after a 20-year generation leap, taking on the role of Aditya Kashyap, a character who doesn't believe in love. His role is different from his previous sweet and romantic characters, showcasing a more serious side. In an exclusive conversation with Times of India TV, Paras opened up about a recent heartbreak, sharing how he plans to channel those emotions into his performance. He also spoke candidly about the pay cuts in the television industry, his close bond with Shraddha Arya , and his thoughts on possibly joining reality shows like Bigg Boss or Khatron Ke Khiladi. After the pandemic, many people in the industry have talked about financial struggles . What's your view? It's not just TV, almost every industry, including entertainment and corporate sectors, went through a hard time after COVID. Budgets were cut, projects slowed down, and work became less stable. Thankfully, I didn't face major financial problems, but I did notice how things changed. Nobody was ready to invest in newcomers especially and they found it tough. The whole system is still recovering, but I hope things improve soon — not just for actors, but for everyone in the industry. Now that you're back with the channel, what about doing reality shows? Would you say to Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss yes if offered one? Yes, I'm open to it. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like What to Know About Gas Turbine Production in Mexico (Find Out More) Turbines | Search ads Undo I've been approached before, but I wasn't ready back then. I never say 'never' to anything. Who knows? Maybe next time I'll say yes right away. I like trying new things and I believe there's nothing wrong in doing a reality show, as long as you're real and true to yourself. You've always had a close bond with Shraddha Arya. She's back now on Kumkum Bhagya, and she's a mom! Did you meet her? Shraddha will always be very special to me. She's one of the kindest co-actors I've worked with. On Kundali Bhagya, we truly became like a family. I do regret not meeting her babies yet — I was going through a phase where I wasn't stepping out much. But she did invite me, and I plan to visit her soon and meet the little ones. You said you were in a phase where you didn't step out. What were you going through? Yes, I was going through something personal — a heartbreak, or breakup whatever you say. In a way, it's similar to what my character Aditya is going through in the show. I believe actors need to feel things in real life to show them on screen. Maybe this experience came to me so I could connect more deeply with my character. I'm doing much better now, and I'm ready to use those emotions in my performance. Paras Kalnawat Lashes Out At 'Anupamaa' Treatment

Hailee Steinfeld's marriage to Josh Allen raises eyebrows over NFL brain damage risks

Josh Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld's relationship has captured public attention, but experts caution about potential challenges (Image via Beau Society) When Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and actress-singer Hailee Steinfeld went public with their relationship in 2023, they quickly became one of the most-watched celebrity-athlete power couples. With Allen's rising NFL stardom and Steinfeld's successful entertainment career, the pairing seemed like a perfect match. Now, after their wedding although fans are excited, experts and insiders warn there are reasons to proceed with caution. Josh Allen's controversial past and Hailee Steinfeld's clean-cut image may not mix well Hailee Steinfeld has earned widespread admiration for her polished public persona, professionalism, and commitment to social causes. In contrast, Allen's past has stirred some controversy. From questionable social media posts in his early career to his very public breakup with ex-girlfriend Brittany Williams, Allen's off-field image has occasionally attracted criticism. Following their split, Brittany took a direct jab at Allen, posting on Instagram: "Just another brain-dead CTE athlete," in a story she later claimed was the result of a hack, per Newsweek. While the comment was undeniably harsh, it brought attention to a real issue facing football players — Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo The health risks of NFL careers cast a shadow over the couple's future Although Allen has not been diagnosed with CTE, the concern is valid. CTE, caused by repeated head trauma, has plagued countless former NFL players. It can lead to cognitive decline, depression, mood swings, and aggression — all of which can strain even the strongest of relationships. Allen's history of hard hits, including one notably violent tackle in October 2024, raises concerns about his long-term health. For Steinfeld, marrying an NFL star comes with a future that may involve the emotional and mental burden of supporting a partner potentially affected by a degenerative condition.
