Jess Pryles serves up massive tomahawk steaks and Cheeto coated corn on the barbecue

Jess Pryles is widely known for her expertise in barbeque, meat and smoking techniques.
She now is based in Texas but is here for Vivid. She has also hosted Aussie Barbecue Heroes in 2015.
Jess will be showing how to cook tomahawk steak and easy homemade flamin' hot corn.
Recipe below:
TOMAHAWK STEAK
1 beef tomahawk steak
2-3 tablespoons Hardcore Carnivore Black rub (or 2 tsp salt)
1 tablespoon oil
Prepare the steak by removing from fridge 1 hour before cooking. Drizzle with oil, then season well on all sides with seasoning (or salt). Prepare a barbie for high heat cooking, and start by searing the tomahawk over high flame, turning every 2 minutes until a crust is formed. Leave the burner on, but move the steak across to a side without heat, and close the lid. Cook until it reads 58c on a meat thermometer. Rest for 10 mins under foil, then slice and serve.
GRILLED 'FLAMIN HOT' STREET CORN
Servings 4
Prep time 7 minutes
Cook time 15 minutes
Ingredients
4 corn on the cob
Spray oil
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 cups 'Flamin' Hot' Cheetos snacks
Fresh lime wedges.
Method
Light a grill for medium heat cooking
Spray the corn lightly with oil, then place onto the grill to cook for 10-15 minutes until charred and softened. Turn the ears during cooking to ensure that all sides are evenly cooked.
Place the Cheetos into a food processor and pulse until a coarse crumb has formed. You can also do this by placing them into a resealable bag and crushing them with a rolling pin or the bottom of a saucepan. Pour the crumbs out onto a sheet pan or large shallow container.
Slather the grilled corn with a generous amount of the mayonnaise, then roll through the Cheeto crumbs to coat completely.
Serve with fresh lime wedges.

Five stars for this funny, sad and bonkers British thriller that breaks all the rules

Dead Hot ★★★★★ This six-part thriller is created and written by Charlotte Coben, daughter of the phenomenally popular author Harlan Coben, who's been adapting many of his bestsellers, such as Stay Close and Fool Me Once, as part of a huge Netflix deal. Charlotte has written for many of those adaptations, but Dead Hot is distinctly her creation – and probably not what you might expect. I'm not even sure it's a thriller. Well, it is – but it's also a black comedy, an audacious visual experiment and a world away from the formulaic British thriller format. None of the main characters is over 25. There's not a farmhouse in sight. In a highly stylised Liverpool (where most characters have London accents), twenty-somethings Jess (BAFTA-winning Vivian Oparah) and Elliot (Extraordinary 's Bilal Hasna), are bound by grief after the disappearance of Peter (Olisa Odele, who we see in flashback). Peter is Jess's twin brother, and Elliot's first love. Five years earlier, Peter vanished, the only clue being his severed finger. Jess and Elliot are drifting, working crappy jobs – Jess in a new-age shop and Elliot, who is largely supported by his wealthy grandmother (Downton Abbey 's Penelope Wilton), occasionally works at a campy pet grooming business. Trying to move on, Elliot is convinced he's found love again when he meets Will (Marcus Hodson) at a club. But Will proves elusive after their first night, and when Elliott finally hears from him, inviting him to his flat, Elliot arrives to find nobody home – and another severed finger. This time though, it's not a real one. Is Will taunting him? Does he know what happened to Peter? This is just one of many, many questions you will have throughout this bonkers, but compelling, series. Jess, meanwhile, clings to the belief her brother is alive, and has signed up to a DNA matching app (just go with it) in the hope of finding him. When she receives a match, she's convinced it's Peter, which leads her to a bizarre encounter in a creepy cabin in the woods.

‘I miss them': Aussie NFL hopeful breaks down when talking about home

Australian teenager Archie Wilson has gone viral after he broke down in tears during a college football press conference while talking about missing home. The NFL hopeful moved to America to play for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, after auditioning in front of coach Mike Ekeler live on FaceTime, but homesickness has taken its toll on the Melburnian since moving to the United States in June. 'I love them a lot. I've got two little brothers and a mum and dad, and that's the tough part about being here,' Wilson said when asked about his family. 'I love them a lot and I miss them, but they know this is what's best for me, and it's good, I can still talk to them plenty over the phone, and they're coming here to see the first few games, so I'm looking forward to that.' Wilson has since made appearances on Good Morning America and the Today show in the US after the moment resonated with many around the world. His parents, Lee and Jess, and brothers Lewis and Oscar spoke on the Australian Today show on Thursday morning and said the family would be reunited in 11 days when they head over for the start of the college football season. 'There was a lot of tears yesterday,' Jess said. 'It's a bit crazy, but I spoke to him pretty much as soon as I woke up yesterday morning. He was absolutely fine, you can see at the end of the video he walks off, he's fine, he just broke down in those few moments.
