Caitlin Clark Breaks Serena Williams' Six-Figure Record
It didn't take long for Caitlin Clark to get adjusted to the WNBA, breaking all sorts of records during her rookie season with the Indiana Fever.
On her way to the All-WNBA first-team, Clark broke league records for most assists in a single season and the most points by a rookie. Not to mention becoming the NCAA's all-time leading scorer with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Tennis legend Serena Williams has become a record-setter of her own, with the most career wins among women (367) and the most Grand Slam titles (23) in the Open era.
Until Saturday, Williams also held the record for the most valuable women's trading card. Her "2003 NetPro International Series Apparel Autograph Serena Williams #2A" sold for an astounding $266,400 in May 2022.

Now, under two months away from her second WNBA season, Clark has the most valuable women's trading card. Her "2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl Signed Rookie Card," a one-of-a-kind, sold for a whopping $366,000.
Clark also shatters her old record for the most valuable women's basketball card, previously held by her "Panini Select WNBA gold vinyl card," also a 1-of-1, which sold for $234,850 in December 2024.
Clark breaks Williams' record by nearly $100,000. Yet it doesn't compare to the men's record, held by the "1952 Topps Mickey Mantle," which sold for $12.6 million in August 2022.

It also doesn't really come close to the men's basketball record, belonging to the "2009-10 Panini National Treasures Stephen Curry Rookie Logoman Autograph," which sold for $5.9 million in 2021.
Clark and the Fever will be back in action in just a few short weeks. They will open the regular season on May 17 against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.
