Sam Kerr 's son Jagger may have been born in England - but he will definitely be raised as an Aussie.
The Matildas captain, 31, has posted an image to Instagram story from outside Australia House in London, the country's high commission for the UK, where matters like citizenship and passports are dealt with.
The photo - featuring Jagger and Kerr's partner Kristie Mewis - was captioned 'Oi Oi Oi', which is a well known patriotic chant every Aussie knows.
Jagger is likely to become a dual citizen - and given his mothers were born in Australia and the US respectively, it is safe to assume he will be a regular traveller abroad.
It comes as Kerr continues her worrying long recovery from an ACL rupture in her knee sustained at a training camp with Chelsea in January of 2024 and made a surprise trip down under.
Meanwhile, Family First national director Lyle Shelton was slammed after recently publicly questioning Kerr's same-sex relationship, blaming the couple for 'depriving' their son of a father.
His vile post followed the soccer power couple - Mewis plays for the USWNT - proudly posting images of Jagger on social media.
'A baby is born - but where's dad?' Shelton wrote alongside a photo of the couple and their baby.
'Family First congratulates Sam Kerr and Kristie Mewis on the birth of their son - but we must speak a truth too many are afraid to say.
'No child should be deliberately deprived of their father. Children aren't lifestyle accessories - they're human beings with rights.'
Shelton went on to ask: 'When cultural elites cheer on choices that sideline dads, who's left standing for the child?'
'Love is not enough. Every child deserves - and needs - a mum and a dad, wherever possible. It's time to put children's rights before adult desires.'
Shelton was one of the leaders of the 'No' campaign against same-sex marriage in Australia.
His post received support from United Australia Party Senator Ralph Babet, who commented, 'children need both a mother and a father.'

SYDNEY, June 4 (Reuters) - Tickets for the Ashes series were snapped up at a record rate when they went on sale on Tuesday with the allocations for the first three days of the Brisbane and Sydney tests as well as day one of the Melbourne test all exhausted. Cricket Australia said a total of 311,066 tickets were purchased on Tuesday for international matches in the home 2025-26 season, when the hosts will defend the urn against England in a five-test series. The previous record for a single day's sale was 111,741 tickets ahead of the 2017-18 Ashes series, CA said. "The record demand for tickets shows the excitement fans are feeling about the fantastic international season to come," said Cricket Australia chief executive Todd Greenberg. Australia won both the 2017-18 series and following home series in 2021–22 4-0 before drawing 2-2 in England in 2023 to retain the urn. England last triumphed in Australia in 2010-11, which is also the last time the tourists won a test Down Under. This year's series begins in Perth in late November before a day-night match in Brisbane, the third test in Adelaide and the traditional Melbourne and Sydney tests in December and January. More tranches of tickets will be made available for those fans who signed up for pre-allocation at a later date, while the general public will be able to make purchases from June 13. Australia also host both South Africa and India in Twenty20 and one-day series before the Ashes, while the women's team will play India in all three formats in February and March.

AFL's Tasmania expansion on a knife edge amid state political uncertainty
The AFL's expansion into Tasmania is on a knife edge as the state's politicians consider a move to oust premier Jeremy Rockliff, which would trigger a shake up and potentially torpedo the Devils' plans to join the league. The Devils on Wednesday said the political uncertainty was cause for 'great concern' and presented 'a serious risk … for the future of Tasmania Football Club'. The club, which has already attracted 210,000 members, is due to enter the competition in 2028 under an agreement with the AFL, and move into the newly complete venue on the Hobart waterfront the following year. One of the conditions set by the AFL for a new team in Tasmania was a roofed stadium, but the expensive project – set to cost around $1bn – faces opposition from some in Tasmania, who instead have called for the money to be spent elsewhere. The Greens have declared they support a motion of no-confidence in the premier put forward by Labor's opposition leader Dean Winter. In Parliament on Wednesday morning, Greens leader Dr Rosalie Woodruff called for the motion to explicitly mention the government's handling of the stadium. But Winter responded by saying he would not support the amendment, and the no-confidence motion was focused on the state of the budget. In a dramatic day in Hobart, Devils' head of corporate affairs Kath McCann was emotional at a press conference as she described there is no 'plan B' to renegotiate the deal with the AFL. 'It'd be fair to say that the level of uncertainty would be significantly heightened, and in fact, some of those scenarios don't beg thinking about for the club here today,' McCann said, via the ABC. On Tuesday in Melbourne, AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon said the competition had already been planning for the weekly bye for one team that would come with entry of the Devils as 19th team, and anticipated the stadium's enabling legislation would be discussed in the lower house later this month and the upper house early in July. 'The Tasmanian government and [Devils CEO] Brendon Gale and the Tassie Devils have done a power of work and we're really confident in 2028,' he said.
