Google Pixel 10 vs iPhone 17: Camera quality
With Google and Apple upgrading their camera qualities in the upcoming set of mobile phones, there is very little doubt that the quality of photography is going to improve sharply in 2025. iPhones are expected to get a front camera upgrade from 12MP to 24MP, offering sharper images and better cropping flexibility.
Live Events
The iPhone 17 Pro Max can possibly become the first iPhone to have three 48MP rear lenses: a wide, an ultra-wide, and a tetraprism telephoto, along with support for 8K video recording.
As far as Pro models are concerned, they may also have a mechanical aperture, allowing users to control depth of field more precisely, as well as dual video recording using both front and rear cameras simultaneously.
The iPhone 17 Air is expected to feature a single 48MP rear camera, while the standard iPhone 17 will likely include a dual-lens system with wide and ultra-wide cameras. Telephoto lenses and 5x optical zoom will remain exclusive to the Pro lineup.
The Google Pixel 10 is expected to feature a main camera of 48 MP with an f/1.7 aperture, a 25 mm wide lens, a 1/2.0" sensor size, a 0.8 µm pixel size, dual pixel PDAF, and OIS. It also includes a 10.8 MP telephoto lens with f/3.1 aperture, 112 mm focal length, 1/3.2" sensor, dual pixel PDAF, OIS, and 5x optical zoom. The ultrawide camera has 12 MP with PDAF.
Additional features include single-zone laser autofocus, LED flash, Pixel Shift, Ultra-HDR, panorama, and Best Take. Video capabilities are 4K recording at 24/30/60 fps and 1080p at 24/30/60/120/240 fps, with gyro-EIS, OIS, and 10-bit HDR support.
The selfie camera is a single 10.5 MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, a 20 mm ultrawide lens, a 1/3.1" sensor size, 1.22 µm pixels, and PDAF. It supports HDR, panorama, and video recording at 4K 30/60 fps and 1080p 30/60 fps.
Google Pixel 10 vs Iphone 17: Performance and hardware
The iPhone 17 is expected to debut the A19 Pro chip, manufactured using TSMC's advanced 3nm process for improved performance and efficiency. For the first time, iPhones may come with 12GB of RAM, enhancing multitasking and enabling more advanced Apple Intelligence AI features.
Google Pixel 10
will run on Android 16 and will support up to 7 major Android upgrades. It is powered by the
Google Tensor G5
chipset built on a 4 nm process.
The CPU is octa-core, consisting of 1 core at 3.1 GHz Cortex-X4, 3 cores at 2.6 GHz Cortex-A720, and 4 cores at 1.92 GHz Cortex-A520. Graphics will be handled by the Mali-G715 MC7 GPU.
For memory, it offers two internal storage options: 128GB or 256GB, both paired with 12GB of RAM. There is no card slot for expandable storage. The storage type used is UFS 3.1. This 130-year-old US photography brand may soon go out of business; company says: 'These conditions raise substantial doubt about...'

Popular photography brand, Eastman Kodak Co ., has raised "substantial doubt" about continuing its operations in the coming days. The 130-year-old company has suggested that it may soon go out of business. The company stated that it may not be able to meet its debt obligations, a disclosure that also reportedly caused its shares to fall by over 13% recently. Based in Rochester, New York, Kodak reported having $155 million in cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, which includes $70 million held within the United States. The company's financial struggles follow a move last year (which was first reported by The Wall Street Journal) that ended its retirement income plan to reduce its debt burden. What Kodak said in its regulatory filing In its regulatory (as seen by The Independent), Kodak said: 'Kodak has debt coming due within 12 months and does not have committed financing or available liquidity to meet such debt obligations if they were to become due in accordance with their current terms. These conditions raise substantial doubt about Kodak's ability to continue as a going concern' In a recent statement, David Bullwinkle, Kodak's CFO, said that the company expects to know by this week about how it will meet its obligations to pay all pension plan participants and expects to complete the reversion by December. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Indonesia: New Container Houses (Prices May Surprise You) Container House | Search Ads Search Now Undo Founded by George Eastman in 1880, Kodak played a significant role in making photography accessible in the early 20th century. It became widely recognised for its Brownie and Instamatic cameras, along with its yellow-and-red film boxes. The company first faced setbacks due to competition from its Japanese rivals and later struggled to adapt to the transition from film to digital technology. In 2012, Kodak filed for bankruptcy protection after facing rising competition, the growing adoption of digital photography, and increasing debt. Following this, the company sold several businesses and patents and shut down the camera manufacturing unit that had established its reputation. A year later, it received approval to exit court oversight, shifting its focus to becoming a smaller company specialising in commercial and packaging printing. Currently, Kodak is close to completing a manufacturing plant for regulated pharmaceutical products. It already produces unregulated key starting materials for pharmaceuticals, while production at the upgraded facility is expected to begin later this year. Rain affects gas supply to Rudrapur SIDCUL area, over 50 units affected

Rudrapur: Industrial production in Uttarakhand's Rudrapur, district headquarters of Udham Singh Nagar, has come to a grinding halt after piped natural gas (PNG) supply from Indian Oil and Adani Gas was suspended on Sunday. Over 50 industries — including a prominent automobile company and eight of its vendor firms — temporarily shut down their plants, resulting in an estimated loss of over Rs 50 crore, officials said on Tuesday. According to officials, the disruption was triggered by damage to the pipeline near Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh due to heavy rains, severely hitting PNG-dependent units in SIDCUL industrial area. Sources said that while the shutdown on Sunday had little immediate impact due to the weekly holiday, the crisis deepened on Monday as PNG-dependent industries began scaling down or halting operations, while units with electricity-based alternatives managed partial production. For most, the loss was unavoidable. "This is nothing short of a disaster," said Srikar Sinha, president of SIDCUL entrepreneur welfare society. "PNG supply has been down since Sunday afternoon, and GAIL officials are unable to confirm when the problem will be resolved. If this continues for another day or two, the situation will escalate into a major crisis. The state govt and district administration must step in with an urgent solution." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The Simple Morning Habit for a Flatter Belly After 50! Lulutox Undo Society secretary Gajendra Singh said that nearly 90% of SIDCUL's auto industry operations got crippled. "Initially, the supplier said the shutdown would last 72 hours, but now there is no update from the company. The govt must act immediately," he said. District magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria confirmed that talks had been held with Moradabad administration and company officials. "The pipeline damage was caused by heavy rainfall in parts of UP. Restoration work is underway, and supply will be resumed soon," he said. Stay updated with the latest local news from your city on Times of India (TOI). Jarkiholi-Jolle camp regains edge over Katti faction in Hukkeri sugar plant

Belagavi: The ongoing political rivalry between the Jarkiholi-Jolle faction and the Katti family in Hukkeri taluka took a dramatic turn on Monday, with the board of management of Hiranyakeshi Sugar Factory, led by Basavaraj Kallatti, once again pledging its allegiance to the Jarkiholi-Jolle camp, delivering a significant blow to the Katti family. Founded in 1956 by cooperative stalwart Appanagouda Patil on the outskirts of Sankeshwar town, the factory was under the Katti family's control since 1995. However, in January 2025, the faction led by BJP's former MP Annasaheb Jolle and Arabhavi MLA Balachandra Jarkiholi wrested control, following the defection of seven directors. This led to the resignation of Nikhil Katti as chairman, ending the Kattis' three-decade dominance at the factory. The shift was largely driven by financial assurances from Jolle, who channeled funds through his Beereshwar Cooperative Credit Society. However, dissatisfaction over high interest rates prompted board members to approach local leaders Ramesh Katti and AB Patil, urging them to take charge of the factory. In a rare political alliance, long-time rivals Katti and Patil joined forces and regained control of the factory on July 29 this year. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Online Skin Care Consultation - Learn More AskLayers Learn More Undo Yet, within 12 days, the factory once again slipped from their grasp and returned to the Jarkiholi-Jolle camp. Speaking to the media, vice-chairman Ashok Pattanashetti said: "The factory needs Rs 150 crore for smooth operations. We turned to Ramesh Katti and AB Patil, who had promised alternative sources of funding, but failed. Jolle's assistance is now crucial in getting the factory up and running." Commenting on the prevailing scenario, Annasaheb Jolle said: "The factory stands as a symbol of Appanagouda Patil's vision of the cooperative movement. My involvement, along with Balachandra Jarkiholi, is solely to uphold those ethos and ensure the factory's sustainability."
