Whitney Port and Tim Rosenman have frank discussion about baby plans

Perth Now24-06-2025
Whitney Port's husband wants their journey to having another child to "be over".
The 40-year-old designer recently admitted she had suffered five miscarriages since giving birth to her and Tim Rosenman's seven-year-old son Sonny and the pair have suggested they are close to giving up on their dream of having a baby now they are getting "older and older".
Tim was a guest on his wife's podcast, With Whit, and he said: "I want it to be over. That's on my mind, really. I just want it to work out and it to be over, or it to not work out and just to stop thinking about it.
Whitney replied: 'I'm completely with you. But you still want to keep moving forward?'
Tim then admitted: 'But I'm telling you is [as] it gets longer and longer, my desire to move forward gets less and less.
"Because I'm getting older and older, and like I'm so old.'
Whitney said: 'You're not, but you just start to..."
Tim turns 44in September and admitted all he wants for his birthday is a baby.
Whitney laughed: 'With my own DNA."
Her spouse agreed: With my DNA and Whitney's DNA, okay? Carry it in your uterus and deliver it to my house."
The former reality star then admitted the subject has been on her mind because she is unsure what she and Tim should do next.
She said: 'I know, that's really what's on my mind too.
"I mean, I have a million things on my mind, but I would say that's the most nagging thing that's on my mind because it's the thing that I feel like I don't know what to do about.
'We're just at this point right now where we've been forwarded all these profiles."
Tim said: 'I don't need 10 profiles. Just make one work!
"After this, let's just say move forward with the last one."
In April, Whitney detailed her fertility struggles, and told how despite her five miscarriages, a fertility specialist found no complications so she and Tim
went through a round of IVF (in vitro fertilisation) treatment and had two boy and two girl embryos which her medical team recommended she use, with the males having stronger grades.
But the Hills star suffered a "mental breakdown" when she fell ill and couldn't go through with the embryo transfer.
She told SHE MD: "The week before I did a transfer, I got extremely sick, throwing up so much that I ended up having to have an endoscopy, and it was just a whole situation.
"I ended up not being able to do the transfer and basically had, like a mental breakdown."
Whitney and Tim then decided to use a surrogate but she also tragically miscarried twice.
The couple stepped away from the process for a year to figure out what to do next, and have been looking for a new surrogate.

Erik Menendez hospitalised as lawyer calls for release

Erik Menendez has been hospitalised with kidney stones and now the famed parent killer's lawyer is calling for his client's release ahead of an August parole hearing, according to a report. 'It's a serious condition,' lawyer Mark Geragos told TMZ of Menendez's diagnosis. 'I just think he should be parole furloughed, I think is the proper term, and he could be medically furloughed in advance of the hearing so that he can work with the parole lawyer and get up to speed and be ready and do it and give it his best shot. 'I think that it's the only fair and equitable thing to do,' the lawyer told the outlet. Menendez is undergoing treatment for kidney stones, a relatively common urinary condition, TMZ confirmed. He and his brother, Lyle Menendez, were originally sentenced to life without parole in 1996 for the murder of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez. The siblings were resentenced in May to 50 years to life in prison and they have a parole hearing on August 21 following a months-long delay. Having already served 35 years behind bars, the two were automatically eligible to pursue parole under California's youthful offender law. At the time of the murders, Erik was just 18 years old and Lyle was 21. The brothers insisted that intruders had broken into their family's Beverly Hills home and killed their parents. They later confessed to the killings, but insisted that they'd done it to stop their father's cycle of sexual abuse. During the trial, prosecutors argued that the brothers' claims were false and purported that they were motivated by financial gain. In the years since their imprisonment, Erik and Lyle both expressed remorse even as they garnered support from more than 20 family members who have ceaselessly advocated for their release. The brothers' case was put back in the limelight after Netflix released a season about them in its hit true crime series 'Monsters' in 2024. Fans quickly rallied around the brothers, calling for their release. They have a parole hearing on Aug. 21 following a months-long delay. The Menendez brothers were resentenced in May to 50 years to life in prison.

'Melts my heart': baby joy fuels ring monster Tszyu

Nikita Tszyu has issued a disturbing warning to the boxing world as he plots to restore battered family pride. Tszyu will return to the ring in Sydney on August 20, exactly a month after his older, former world champion brother Tim was bashed into submission by Sebastian Fundora in Las Vegas. While Tim's future appears uncertain following a third straight loss in the US, Nikita remains unbeaten and reckons he will carry even more motivation when he makes his comeback from a 12-month lay-off as a doting first-time father. The 27-year-old and his wife, also named Nikita, welcomed daughter Curiosity to the world late last month. "It's an emotional journey," Tszyu told AAP in Las Vegas. "Yeah, very beautiful seeing something that you created. She melts my heart." With eight KOs from 10 fights, the undefeated knockout merchant dubbed "The Butcher" delivered a chilling message to his rivals when asked if being a dad would make him an even better boxer. "What I've noticed is the more love I feel at home, the more hatred I feel for the rest of the world and I think it's going to be the strongest thing for me, getting these children," Tszyu said, adding that his work-life balance was perfect. "My wife, she's all on top of it all. "So when it comes to night time, she's taking care of her. She understands that I need to rest, I need to recover and that's what's feeding our family. "So she's full-time mum, (offering) 24-hour full-time care and I can help out wherever I can. "But, ultimately, I need to focus on my trainings and my recoveries as well." Tszyu carried the pain of a hand injury through multiple victories before opting for hand surgery following a ninth-round stoppage of fellow Australian Koen Mazoudier in Sydney last August. An opponent for his comeback bout is yet to be determined, but Tszyu says Tim and Hall of Famer dad Kostya's accomplishment as a rare father-son duo to become world champions continue to also fuel him with motivation. "It's eye-opening seeing them," he said. "Yeah, it is definitely motivating and there's a lot of sense of pride that I feel that we come from the same gene pool."
