According to reports, multiple suspects attempted to break into the warehouse, likely intending to rob the property, while Shaw was asleep inside. Upon confronting the suspects, Shaw was shot multiple times. Officers arriving at the scene found him with gunshot wounds, and he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The suspects fled in an unknown vehicle, and no arrests have been made. Evidence markers and shell casings were found at the scene. A bullet-riddled Honda Civic, believed to be linked to the incident, was discovered nearby, and its owner reported it stolen the night before. Police are investigating Shaw's connection to the property.
