Artist 'thrilled' after meeting rock legend in Loch Ness
Robert Plant, who founded Led Zeppelin in 1968 and played in the band until it broke up in 1980, had been in the Loch Ness area last week.
Grant said he just so happened to 'glance' outside and caught a glimpse of a gentleman leaving the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel which he thought looked a lot like Plant.

The Scottish artist said he 'dashed' out of his art gallery to confirm his suspicion and was delighted to meet the rock legend.
'I can honestly say it was a great thrill to meet Robert Plant,' Grant told The National.
'My art gallery shop is beside the main entrance to the Loch Ness Clansman hotel, and I happened to glance at this gentleman exiting the hotel and immediately thought it looked like Robert Plant.
'So, I dashed after him and by luck he had just got into the passenger seat of a car parked right by the front door.'
Grant added: 'I chapped on the window which he rolled down and I asked if he was Mr Plant which he replied laughingly 'who's asking?'.
'I asked for a photo which he agreed to, and I then remembered I happened to have a painting of their first album cover on my art gallery wall, so I told him, and he asked to see it.'
Grant, who paints Highland landscapes along with Highland cows, also just so happened to have painted Led Zeppelin's first album, which he said the rocker was impressed with.
The Loch Ness artist added: 'A really nice chap and very humble too.'

Which pups have the biggest brains? We all know that dogs are very intelligent, but you may not realise that some breeds are smarter than others. As well as coming in all kinds of shapes, sizes and with varying personalities, different types of pooches also have different levels of intelligence. Experts at Dog Friendly Retreats have done some research into the smartest dog breeds and where you're most likely to find them, with a Scottish city taking the crown as the area with the most intelligent four legged friends. The study analysed agility club access, breed intelligence, and competition wins to crown the cleverest canines and most dog-savvy cities in the UK, rating each breed with scores out of 250. Edinburgh's most popular pooches, as shown by the study, were the Labrador, Cocker Spaniel, and Border Collie, giving this Scottish city the strongest all-round score in terms of having the smartest pups. The popular YouTubers included a special guest who proved very popular Sidemen's 'best guest ever' has been declared by fans and they are a YouTuber with millions of followers and Tourette's syndrome. The online group of content creators and influencers shared their most recent video in their regular Sunday slot and it included an immediate favourite amongst viewers. This week, the video dropped was a new edition of 20 vs 2, which included mostly women coming face to face with a couple of Sidemen. In a voiceover introducing the video, which ran for more than an hour and 20 minutes in total, KSI says: "Welcome to 20 vs 2. We have two Americans, Marlon and Lacy. They will both have to agree which of the 20 girls they would like to say yes and no to." If the duo both said yes to a girl, they would take part in the next section of the video. This would be in the form of an impromptu date. However, the girl chooses who of the two they would rather go on a date with. While this happens, six others watch on including Josh, Harry, Vik, KSI, Tobi, Ethan and Simon. Each of them have the opportunity to tell Marlon and Lacy what to do like mini challenges. Whether it be how they act or what they say. One person that was involved in both segments on the video and was popular with the Sidemen and viewers alike during her appearance was 35-year-old Anita. It turns out she is a major online personality in her own right, known as Sweet Anita. She has around 1.5 million subscribers on YouTube and claims to have more than 4 million followers across all her social channels. This includes Twitch, X, Instagram and Facebook. Anita herself commented on the video, thanking for the invitation to be involved in the Sidemen's video. In her post she said: "Lacy was such a good boy! Thanks for having me." It didn't go unnoticed by fans who were quick to reply themselves. It received the most interactions of any comment with more than 200 replies and 27,000 thousand likes. Another added: "I love your vibe and energy, you're so unique." while a different account replied: "Anita , you made the vid, hilarious." Anita also has Tourette's.
