Good Boy storyline
Directed by Shim Na Yeon and written by Lee Dae Il, Good Boy revolves around the life of Yoon Dong Joo, who, unlike his name, inspired by the famous poet, lives a life full of fights. Since his school years, he's always been involved in fistfights and later went on to choose boxing as his professional career, ultimately winning an Olympic medal for the country. However, his athletic career shatters into pieces due to an 'unfair expulsion' from the team, forcing him to join the rookie program. Kim So Hyun, who has mastered the art of shooting with her precise aim and dominates world championships, falls from grace after a misunderstanding sabotages her career. The show will also feature a romance storyline between Park Bo Gum and Kim So Hyun's characters. Good Boy also features a secondary storyline of a former Olympic silver medalist fencer who deliberately joins the police force to reunite with his former girlfriend. The skills of former Olympic bronze medalist wrestler Ko Man Sik land him in another leadership role in the cops world and so on. Good Boy is set to premiere on May 31 at 10:40 p.m. KST. For global audience, the series will launch on Prime Video on May 31,

Emily In Paris Season 5 Release Date Out: Lily Collins' Italian Adventure Continues With Lucas Bravo

Last Updated: Lily Collins returns as Emily in season 5, balancing career drama and romance in Italy while Paris remains at the heart of the Netflix hit. Premieres Dec 18. Netflix has unveiled a first look at Emily in Paris season 5, and this time Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) is exploring Italy while balancing career challenges and matters of the heart. The hit series returns on December 18. Emily's Italian Sojourn On August 20, Netflix dropped exclusive images featuring Emily embracing life in Rome as she spearheads Agence Grateau's new office. In one still, she soaks up the Italian sun while sailing on a boat, dressed in a chic black-and-white polka-dot bikini and matching sunglasses. Another shows her beside Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini), holding the reins of a horse, while other shots tease romantic sparks between the pair. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Emily In Paris (@emilyinparis) Career Setbacks and Secrets The official synopsis promises high drama: 'Just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires, and the fallout cascades into heartbreak and career setbacks. Seeking stability, Emily leans into her French lifestyle, until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships." Despite turmoil, fans can expect Emily to rediscover clarity, strengthen bonds, and embrace new beginnings. Returning Favorites and New Faces Season 5 features returning stars Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine), and Lucien Laviscount (Alfie). Joining the cast are Thalia Besson, Paul Forman, Arnaud Binard, Minnie Driver, Bryan Greenberg, and Michèle Laroque. Paris Still at the Heart of the Story While much of the upcoming season unfolds in Italy, creator Darren Star clarified that the series is not abandoning its Parisian roots. In a 2024 interview, Star said: 'Emily is working in Rome sometimes. Sylvie's company has an office in Rome. Emily's getting that on its feet. But it's definitely not a permanent move — we're not leaving Paris." Even French President Emmanuel Macron chimed in, joking that he would 'fight hard" to keep the beloved Netflix series in Paris. Variety later confirmed that although some scenes were filmed in Rome, Paris remains central to the story. A Bigger Universe, Fresh Cultural Clashes According to Star, season 5 expands the show's scope: 'Just at the point that Emily has gotten comfortable in Paris, she's sort of thrown into another country where she's going to experience cultural differences. And we explore the contrasts between French and Italians. It's a whole new world — but Paris is still home." Fans can expect fashion, romance, workplace chaos, and plenty of cultural missteps when Emily's journey continues this December.
