Traffic stop leads to fentanyl arrest, OHP reports
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is highlighting a traffic stop that lead to a fentanyl bust in Tulsa.
According to OHP, troopers seized 2.2 pounds of fentanyl last week after a traffic stop in Tulsa. Deputies confirmed the amount seized is enough fentanyl to kill more than 500,000 people.

OHP says the driver was in the country illegally, moving the drugs under the direction of a drug cartel.
Oklahoma Governor Stitt chimed in on social media platform 'X' saying, 'Biden's open-border policies let cartels flood our country with fentanyl—that ends now. OHP troopers seized enough fentanyl to kill 500,000 Oklahomans. The suspect, in the country illegally, will be prosecuted and deported under Operation Guardian.'

Mayes County woman killed in car crash
PRYOR, Okla. – A 91-year-old Mayes County woman died from injuries she received in a May car crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported on Wednesday. Bettu Giles, of Pyror, was involved in the two-vehicle crash on May 29 and was flown by helicopter to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa with head, trunk, and external injuries. She died on June 2, the patrol reported. The crash happened around 9:45 on OK-20 and N 429 Rd, three miles west of Pryor. The patrol reported that Giles was driving a 2017 Lincoln Continental and failed to yield when entering OK-20. According to the patrol, she struck a 2018 Jeep Renegade, driven by Jessica Knight, 39, of Claremore. Knight was admitted to St Francis with trunk internal and arm injuries. OHP: Kasey Alert issued for 50-year-old Garfield County man
GARFIELD COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has issued a Kasey Alert for a 50-year-old Garfield County man. According to OHP, 50-year-old Donald Brasher was last seen driving a White Chevy Pickup truck with Oklahoma tag JSS555. The truck has large orange blinkers on the front and a silver toolbox in the back. Brasher is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 210 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
