His posts come just one day before the premiere of Shivangi's new show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain – Naya Season, which is set to begin airing on June 16. Kushal shared a few Instagram stories last night, but later deleted them. However, by then, his stories had gone viral on social media.

In his Instagram story, posted around 2:30 AM on Sunday, Kushal Tandon wrote, 'To all the people I love, just wanted to say, me and Shivangi (Joshi) are not together any more. It's been 5 months so yes." The actor later deleted this post just a few minutes later. Both have also unfollowed each other on Instagram, which has left fans shocked. In another now-deleted story, he also added, 'Single and happy. With no remorse."
While Kushal deleted the stories, they went viral on social media. A section of netizens trolled Kushal Tandon.
