Krispy Kreme knows how to spread the love. Whether it's celebrating National Doughnut Day, the Olympics or giving away a sweet treat after a stressful day, the beloved chain has plenty of deals for doughnut fans. This Friday, July 18, Krispy Kreme is set to celebrate 88 years with another tasty offer: a dozen glazed doughnuts for just 88 cents.
You read that right: For one day only you can get an Original Glazed dozen for a mere 88 cents when you purchase any dozen at regular price.
"Eighty-eight has never felt and tasted so great," said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme Chief Brand and Product Officer. "It's a real joy every year celebrating Krispy Kreme's birthday with our fans and treating them to a special deal. We're so grateful for their love and loyalty."
The deal is good for up to two discounted dozens in store or via the drive-thru, or one dozen when ordered online for pickup or delivery (use code BDAY). It's only available while supplies last, so get there early to claim your party favor.
This celebration tips its hat to Krispy Kreme's roots. Back in 1937, founder Vernon Rudolph started by selling doughnuts wholesale. But the heavenly aroma pouring onto the street drew in passersby hungry for a taste. Rudolph cut a hole in the wall, started selling direct to customers, and the Original Glazed legend was born.
Eighty-eight years later, the formula hasn't changed: a melt-in-your-mouth classic that's impossible to resist—especially when that famous Hot Light is glowing.
Today, Krispy Kreme keeps fans happy with new flavors and limited drops, but the Original Glazed remains the hero. Find Krispy Kreme shops and select grocery retailers nationwide here, or order online via their app or website.

Dancing With The Stars says goodbye to beloved athlete as the competition heats up in brutal semi-finals

Dancing With the Stars entered the semi-finals on Sunday night. Saying goodbye was Olympic boxer Harry Garside, who was eliminated just short of making it to the finals. With their freestyle performances in sight, the stakes were higher than ever as each couple hit the floor determined to secure their place in the grand finale. Harry opened the show with a steamy Mad Max inspired Tango. While the judges agreed the style wasn't his strongest, they praised his effort and commitment to the performance before scoring him 20 points. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. With the audience vote combined with judges' scores, it was Harry and partner Siobhan Power who were sent home. Reflecting on his journey, Harry said: 'It's been so much fun. It's such an amazing process. 'To share this with Siobhan, and to learn how to dance from her, like how cool is that? So fingers crossed it helps my boxing, I'm sure it will.' Last week, fan favourite Osher Günsberg was shown the exit door during a dramatic episode. Taking to the ballroom with a Tango routine backed by David Bowie 's 1980 hit Fashion, the TV host put in a feverish performance that failed to impress the judges. Taking his cue from the evening's 'Kings and Queens of song' theme, judge Craig Revel Horwood did not mince words when delivering his verdict. 'Well that was a right royal mess! I don't know what that step was, coming down the ramp, darling, but it was fumbled...' Craig began, but a furious Osher interrupted. Visibly annoyed, Osher snapped, 'Would you like to try going down that Perspex ramp in those heels, sir? You're more than welcome to show me.' He continued to rage: 'But I need you to be doing it in a tango step while the person next to you is on one foot kicking, and you're holding their momentum against you. After you!' Craig seemed taken aback by the fiery exchange, replying to a fuming Osher, 'That is not my job'. He then continued on with his critique despite the tense atmosphere, which had host Sonia Kruger visibly shocked. 'It was completely erratic,' Craig said, after dismissing Osher's remarks. Craig told the frustrated TV personality, 'You were making mistakes left, right and centre.' Fellow judge Mark Wilson did offer Osher some words of encouragement, telling him that he admired his determination to improve his dancing skills. However, the final score was a dismal 15 points and Osher was sent home.

Eve Jobs and Harry Charles marry in ‘quaint corner' of the Cotswolds

Even billionaires can't make the sun shine. But as guests gathered for the wedding of the Apple heiress, Eve Jobs, to the British Olympic equestrian Harry Charles late on Saturday afternoon, the grey clouds finally started to lift over the Cotswold hamlet. The usually tranquil roads were busy as guests arrived in Mercedes vans at the small medieval parish church of St Michael and All Angels in Great Tew. Nine bridesmaids, including Jessica Springsteen, daughter of Bruce and a show-jumping champion, wore crimson gowns to match the 5ft balls of roses decorating the outside of the church. The bride herself sneaked in via a secret entrance to avoid the photographers outside. Other guests included the actor Callum Turner, 35, and the chef Ruth Rogers, 76, who was followed into the church by a delivery man carrying a stack of pizzas. The bride, 27, is a Stanford graduate, equestrian and model, as well as the youngest daughter of Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, who died in 2011 from pancreatic cancer. Jobs, named by the society magazine Tatler as one of its new generation of It Girls, and Charles, 26, who won a gold medal at the Paris Olympics last year, began dating in 2022 and became engaged last September. Theirs is a 'nepo baby' love match: the groom is the son of Peter Charles, also an equestrian, who was in the British team that won gold at the 2012 London Olympics. Guests at the reception included Kamala Harris, the former US vice-president, who has been friends with the bride's mother, Laurene Powell Jobs, for more than 20 years. The billionaire philanthropist backed her failed run for the US presidency last year. Other guests included Jony Ive, who met Steve Jobs at Apple, where they ate lunch together almost every day. The lavish reception was held at the private members' club and hotel Estelle Manor, where Sir Elton John performed for the newlyweds and their guests for a reported £1 million fee. All the manor's 107 rooms were booked by guests, while other friends stayed at Soho Farmhouse, where the Duchess of Sussex, then plain Meghan Markle, had her hen party in 2018. Although the couple paid the same fee — £675 — as any other betrothed couple to marry in the church, the estimated cost of the wedding was £5 million. Jobs grew up in Palo Alto in California. Despite the high cost of the wedding, she is not expected to receive a hefty inheritance. Speaking to The New York Times after her husband's death, Laurene Powell Jobs said: 'I'm not interested in legacy wealth building, and my children know that … Steve wasn't interested in that. If I live long enough, it ends with me.' The couple's nuptials have disturbed the bucolic atmosphere of the area this weekend, with ex-military personnel setting up hazel hurdle screens outside the church gates and security staff parking their SUVs on narrow lanes. This part of the Cotswolds is home to Sir David and Lady Beckham, the actress Donna Air, who is in the process of selling her £3 million house, and Ellen DeGeneres, the talk show host, who moved to the UK with her wife, Portia de Rossi, to escape the US during President Trump's second term. The music mogul Simon Cowell and his fiancée, Lauren Silverman, also live nearby, and while riding their e-bikes on Saturday afternoon they stopped outside the Quince and Clover café to take photos with fans. Silverman, 48, whose friends, the hospitality entrepreneurs Sharan and Eiesha Pasricha, own Estelle Manor, said that the area appealled to Americans — including herself — because their privacy can be maintained. Cowell, 65, congratulated the newlyweds. 'I wish them the best of luck — it's a beautiful place for it.' Harris, 60, spent Wednesday night at The Bull in Charlbury as a part of a private party ahead of the wedding. The Bull, a 15th-century pub which was last month crowned the UK's best, is now owned by James Gummer and Phil Winser, who also run The Pelican gastropub in Notting Hill. The pair grew up nearby and both had their first pints at The Bull, and their return has drawn a famous crowd to the pub. Some locals feel uncomfortable, however, at the way their charming country town has been increasingly commandeered by the celebrity set. The reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian was also in the Cotswolds on Saturday, posting a gallery of pictures on Instagram including one of Estelle Manor. David Jenkins, 19, an apprentice surveyor who has lived in Charlbury for his entire life, said: 'The success of The Bull is really good for the community, but I think this is my best description of the reality: I was in Austria and I described where I lived. I said 'you know Soho Farmhouse, I live 20 mins from there?' and they said: 'Ah, you know The Bull?' It's famous but maybe for the wrong reasons. I see all the security around and think, Charlbury has changed.' Harry, 21, has also lived in Charlbury all his life and worked at Soho Farmhouse as a waiter and at The Bull for two and a half years, before he left to pursue a career in photography. 'I've seen Becks [and] Margot Robbie, and Boris Johnson had his New Year's Eve party here [at The Bull],' Harry said. 'I just left but apparently for this most recent event [with Kamala Harris] everyone had to sign an NDA. I never had to sign an NDA before … Charlbury as an area has changed a lot. I dislike that it's been heavily Americanised, it's lost its charm.' Others welcomed the global spotlight landing on this quaint corner of the Cotswolds. Natalie Walsh, 54, who manages a healthcare department in a prison, said: 'It's a perfect place to get married if you're rich and you like horses. I think sometimes the negativity around it is just envy.'

Adam Peaty's three-word claim about what Gordon Ramsay did after he dated his daughter

While Gordon Ramsay is known for his skills in the kitchen and his razor sharp tongue, he actually helped Team GB swimmer Adam Peaty get his career back on track after a battle with depression Adam Peaty claimed that Gordon Ramsay helped pull him out of the "deep, dark hole" of depression after he began dating the celebrity chef's daughter. A three-time Olympic gold-medallist with Team GB, Peaty, who was in action this time last year in Paris, has enjoyed an incredible career in swimming over the years. ‌ The 30-year-old first tasted Olympic glory at the 2016 Games in Rio, clinching gold in the 100m breaststroke and silver in the 4 x 100m medley, before shining incredibly bright at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. He left Japan with gold medals in the 100m breaststroke and the 4 x 100m mixed medley, as well as another silver in the 4 x 100m medley. ‌ Meanwhile, Peaty was also in fine form at last year's Games in Paris, securing silver in the 100m breaststroke and only beaten by Italy's Nicolo Martinenghi. However, life away from the lanes hasn't always been smooth sailing for Peaty, who fell into a spiral of depression and alcoholism when his eight-year unbeaten run came to an end at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. ‌ At the same time, he also separated from the mother of his son. The swimming legend described what ensued as "three years of hell" before he finally got his career back on track when he started dating Holly Ramsay, the daughter of TV chef Gordon. The two first met when Holly's sister, Tilly, competed alongside him on the 2021 edition of Strictly Come Dancing, with a romance between Adam and Holly blossoming two years later. And Peaty revealed how Gordon played a major part in motivating his career resurgence, transforming him from a party-goer to a focused and disciplined Olympic titan once more. Peaty told The Sunday Times last April: "He [Ramsay] is an incredible energy to be around and an incredible person to have that guidance from. "Gordon is a high performer. He worked his way up to the upper echelons of his industry and works in a place where there's no bull****. I take a lot from that and from the professionalism he has every single day with a relentless pursuit. "So, when I see that, I'm like, 'Yeah, why can't I work like this? Why can't I do this every single day? Why do I have to be so emotionally engaged with things?'" Adam and Holly reconnected and began dating in May 2023, before going public with their relationship just a month later. They then unveiled matching tattoo tributes to one another in December and announced their engagement in September with a heartfelt Instagram post. ‌ Taking to social media, Holly wrote: "I am marrying my best friend. I truly cannot put into words how I am feeling right now. I still remember how big my smile was the morning I got home from my first date with you. "Thank you for letting the little girl inside of me feel loved, seen and happier than ever. I love you & I cannot wait to be your wife. I promise to always be there with you and George, I'm so grateful to be in his life and I cannot wait for more. "Everything is better with you. Everything has been better since you. Here's to forever. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13." Peaty also appears to have a good relationship with his future father-in-law, particularly seeing the funny side as Gordon aimed a famous barb at him during a conversation ahead of Paris 2024. Ramsay was quizzing Peaty on his post-Olympic plans, before the Team GB ace replied: "Who knows? You're smiling, I'm not going to give you the pleasure. I'm not going to do it. You're trapping me." To which Gordon said in trademark fashion: "You're full of s***! You are definitely not retiring. Absolutely, definitely not retiring," adding: "Very best of luck. Don't f*** this up."
