Box office vs budget According to reports, the film was made on an extravagant budget of around Rs 300 crore. Despite this, it collected only Rs 116.82 crore worldwide, as per a Sacnilk report. Even after factoring in the OTT rights deal, the film failed to recover its total cost and was widely termed a box office disaster. OTT version features a new climax Pawan Kalyan plays the titular character Hari Hara Veera Mallu, an outlaw on a mission to free the Koh-i-Noor from Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, portrayed by Bobby Deol. While the theatrical version received criticism for its underwhelming visual effects and lack of polish in many sequences, the OTT cut introduces significant changes. In theaters, the film originally ended with Aurangzeb (Bobby Deol) declaring, 'A storm is coming.' This was after producer AM Rathnam trimmed the climactic battle between Veera Mallu and Aurangzeb during a cyclone. The OTT version, however, ends after the song 'Asura Hananam' and features a sequel announcement, removing the storm sequence entirely.
