Fans wonder if Patrick Mahomes did former Bengals player dirty during Super Bowl
There were a few former Cincinnati Bengals in and around the Super Bowl that saw the Philadelphia Eagles thump the Kansas City Chiefs, spoiling the three-peat.
Perhaps the most notable was former running back Samaje Perine.
In many ways, that's due to the fallout after the game. There, a sideline video of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes seeming to skip over Perine during the blowout went viral.
When the video first went out, it didn't seem like that big of a deal and it's probably an honest mistake and nothing more.

For those out of the loop on the lore here — Perine joined the Bengals in 2020 and was part of the Super Bowl run. He left for the Denver Broncos in 2023 despite a strong push from the Bengals to keep him and explained why he decided to leave. He spent one year with the Broncos, got cut and joined the Chiefs.
