Runners compete in 15th annual Savin Rock Marathon
WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Runners came from all over the state to participate in the 15th annual Savin Rock Marathon on Saturday.
The race takes runners on a 13-mile loop of the city. Marathon runners ran the loop twice.
'Johnny's Jog' raises money to support those with chronic illnesses
Thankfully for the those running on Saturday, the weather cooperated.
'Usually this time of year, it's a little bit shadier for the weather, but, beautiful out, fifty degrees, can't ask for better weather,' said Aiden Neilotero.
Runners say this is one of their favorite races in the state.
'I just started running on the treadmill, and then I started running outside, and I really enjoyed it, and I was like 'eh, might as well,' and the weather seems nice,' Taylor Tripodi said.

Arkansas Storm Team Forecast: Overnight Storms Expected
After a calm evening, attention turns westward as a line of strong to severe thunderstorms begins forming across Texas and Oklahoma. These storms will push into southwest Arkansas after midnight, bringing the potential for damaging winds and large hail.
