Paul Sinha, one of The Chase's professional quizzers, has revealed a major rule that could get him 'fired' from the popular ITV quiz show. On Monday (April 21), the 64 year old welcomed four familiar faces to the afternoon programme to test their general knowledge.
This week, Julia Goulding, Oz Clarke, Laura Hamilton, and Mr Motivator took on the challenge against Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha in an effort to raise funds for their chosen charities. The group started strong with Julia making it through to the final round with a commendable £8,000.
Oz was next to step up, adding another £5,000 to the prize fund after a tense one-on-one round. A Place In The Sun presenter Laura hoped to follow suit, but the mother-of-two found it hard to keep pace with her teammates.

Despite only managing to accumulate a modest £3,000 in the cash-builder round, the property expert didn't let that deter her from aiming for the big cash prize.
Taking a risk, Laura went toe-to-toe with Paul for a whopping £75,000, despite the professional quizzer advising her against going for the staggering amount. The TV star had a tough start, with Paul quickly closing the gap between them in just two questions.
Halfway through the gruelling one-on-one round, Bradley posed the question: "In what Ryan Gosling film does Noah write a letter to Allie every day for a year? A) Crazy, Stupid, Love, B) La La Land, or C) The Notebook?"
Laura managed to get the answer C) The Notebook right, with the Sinnerman close behind also giving the correct response. This left Laura with no choice but to get every subsequent question right.
Then, she pleaded, "Can't you just get one wrong?" only for him to respond firmly, "No, I'd lose my job if I deliberately got one wrong."

Regrettably, the pressure was too much for Laura, who was caught by The Chaser on her fourth question.
Nevertheless, Mr Motivator added a commendable £4,000 to the pot in his cash-builder round, hiking the team's total prize fund up to £17,000.
In a nail-biting final chase, the team managed 14 questions in two minutes, but they were overtaken by Paul with 38 seconds to spare. Although they missed out on the substantial sum, the three team members decided to donate £1,000 to their chosen charities.

Sue Cleaver reflects on '25 years of laughs' after Coronation Street exit

Eileen Grimshaw had a special send-off during Friday's episode of the soap, where she was seen leaving for Thailand alongside her son Jason Grimshaw, played by Ryan Thomas. Simon Gregson's character Steve McDonald, Tony Maudsley's George Shuttleworth, and Eileen's son Todd, played by Gareth Pierce, all said goodbye to the matriarch before drivers from the local taxi firm honked their horns as she was driven off. In an Instagram post, Cleaver said: 'Well… that's a wrap. 25 years of laughs, tears, costumes, chaos — and one unforgettable journey. A post shared by Sue Cleaver (@officialsuecleaver) 'I'll miss this character like crazy, but what a ride it's been. Thank you for every moment.' Cleaver has played the outspoken and uncomplicated Eileen in the ITV show since 2000. Eileen came to Weatherfield to work at the local taxi firm, Streetcars, to provide for her two tearaway teenage children, Jason and Todd. She soon became friends with her boss Steve and came into conflict with Helen Worth's character Gail Rodwell (also known as Gail Platt). Cleaver took part in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2022, where she opened up about reconciling with her birth mother, and was eliminated third. She also said her family is 'bizarrely interconnected' to other Coronation Street stars, including Worth who is godmother to one of her half-sisters, while her other half-sister's husband, John Bowe, appeared on the cobbles as Duggie Ferguson. In 2024, she released a book A Work In Progress in which she discusses how she feels she is not past her prime. In recent years she has appeared as a panellist on ITV chat show Loose Women.

Nick Knowles, 62, and his fiancée Katie Dadzie, 34, arrive at their wedding venue ahead of their 'lavish six-figure Essex nuptials' this weekend

Nick Knowles and his fiancée Katie Dadzie were spotted arriving at their wedding venue on Friday. The lingerie brand boss, 34, and DIY SOS star, 62, began dating in 2021 after they met when their children became friends at a play centre and got engaged in 2023. Katie confirmed the countdown was 'on' until their big day in an Instagram post last Friday, and it has been claimed that the couple are due to tie the knot this weekend in a lavish six-figure ceremony in Essex. Ahead of the nuptials, Nick was seen wheeling two suitcases as he arrived at the venue, before greeting friends and family. He cut a smart-casual figure in a brown zip-up polo top and beige trousers, paired with casual white trainers. Katie arrived a few hours later with her close friends, looking effortlessly chic in a skin-tight black bodysuit and light-blue skinny jeans that showcased her enviable figure. She added height with black stiletto heels and carried her essentials in a Louis Vuitton handbag. The bride-to-be wore her brunette tresses in a curly blowout and opted for minimal makeup to highlight her natural beauty. Katie looked more loved-up than ever as she greeted her husband-to-be and took in her first glimpse of the wedding venue. The couple shared a sweet hug and kiss as they prepared for the fun-filled weekend ahead. According to The Sun, Nick and Katie will exchange vows at high-end wedding venue Braxted Park in Essex - where Rylan Clark married his ex-husband Dan Neal in 2015. The couple are said to have spared no expense on their special day, which will be attended by a whole host of celebrity guests, including Nick's Strictly co-stars. A source told the publication: 'He's invited all of his famous pals, including his Strictly co-stars so it's going to be a proper showbiz bash. He cut a smart-casual figure in a brown zip-up polo top and beige trousers, paired with casual white trainers 'Katie's dress is beautiful and is going to blow people away.' Nick starred on Strictly Come Dancing last year alongside the likes of Sarah Hadland, JB Gill, Love Island's Tasha Ghouri and Pete Wicks, though it was Chris McCausland who ultimately took home the glitterball. MailOnline contacted Nick's representatives for comment at the time. Katie kicked off the wedding celebrations earlier this month at her hen party, where she was joined by close friends Kirsty Shaw-Rayner and Sherene Fuller. The group arrived on a beer bus and then headed through party district Soho wearing Nick Knowles face masks, much to the amusement of Katie, ahead of partying at luxury boutique hotel Karma Sanctum. Katie was later entertained by two buff men dressed as a fireman and policeman as the party carried on into the early hours. Katie and the TV star have been subject to cruel trolling during their relationship, with critics mocking their age difference and financial setup. Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, about the 'gold digger' jibes, Katie admitted they don't get to her as much as they used to because she and Nick know it's not true. According to The Sun , Nick and Katie will exchange vows at high-end wedding venue Braxted Park in Essex - where Rylan Clark married his ex-husband Dan Neal in 2015 She said: 'I think at the start, it was probably more irritating, especially for my family. But now those comments kind of just pass over me because we both know it's not true. 'Nick works hard, he has what he has. I work hard, I have what I have and then we buy each other stuff.' Katie continued: 'We're both really comfortable with where we are with that and you will always get it because there's an age gap. 'I know plenty of people who are together and the same age where someone's using the other one for money and they're not happy. 'So as long as I know it's not true and he knows it's not true, I think that's, that's pretty much all that matters.' Nick has an estimated £7.5million net worth but Katie has built up an impressive lingerie brand, having launched Boa Boa in 2022. She has proved to be her own best advert for the brand, modelling the skimpy looks to her 102,000 Instagram followers.
