Love Is Blind UK Season 2 Cast, News

Cosmopolitan5 days ago
Love Is Blind UK is back! While our lives have been taken over by Married At First Sight Australia and Love Island, we're heading back to Netflix with a second season of the show, which follows a series of single people hoping to find love, without ever seeing the person they're dating.
Hosted by Matt and Emma Willis, the format takes places in blind pods, where participants head on speed dates with each other, before whittling down their best matches. Eventually, they must either leave engaged to someone, or still single. Those who say 'yes' then head on a group engagement trip before moving into luxury apartments together, and eventually, walking down the aisle.
So, who'll be taking on this crazy journey, which kicks off on the streaming platform on August 13? The Love Is Blind UK season 2 cast has finally been announced; and from a singer from Essex, to a cabin crew member from Surrey and a health coach from Kent; here's what you need to know.

Netflix (@netflix) August 4, 2025 Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Gangs of London actor Sope Dirisu will star in All the Sinners Bleed, a crime thriller series adapted by Black Panther co-writer Joe Robert Cole. The upcoming Netflix show takes its inspiration from S.A. Cosby's novel of the same name, which earned a spot on former president Barack Obama's summer reading list. The Obamas' production company, Higher Ground Productions, is among the executive producers on the project. "Haunted by his devout mother's untimely death, the first Black sheriff in a small Bible Belt county (Dirisu) must lead the hunt for a serial killer who has quietly been preying on his Black community for years in the name of God," an official synopsis reads. Cole is also the showrunner and an executive producer. A release date, and additional casting information, has not yet been announced.

Celebrity SAS Who Dares Win: What do they actually win?

The Special Forces are officially back in action for another series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Win as the Channel 4 reality show kicked off again last night [3 August], seeing 14 famous faces put through their paces in a series of difficult challenges. But if they make it all the way to the final episode, what do the celebs win? Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Win is in it's seventh season and sees 14 celebrities pitted against each other in a series of challenges designed and executed by former SAS staff, who are on site to guide and instruct the contestants. This year the cast includes drag artist Bimini, Love Island's Tasha Ghouri and winner of The Traitors' season two Harry Clark, and the group head to Wales where in the first episode they were challenged with diving into freezing cold water and then throwing a grenade at a 'hostage filled' building. But after they've completed all the challenges, reached the end of the series and eventually win the show, what is their actual prize? Here's what we know. Well ironically for a show called 'Who Dares Win' there is no actual prize for the winners of Celebrity SAS. Unlike other reality shows featuring celebrities, there's no cash prize for a charity of their choice such as is in the upcoming Celebrity Traitors. And unlike in I'm a Me Out of Here where the winner is named King or Queen of the jungle, and receives a crown and sceptre, the winner of Celebrity SAS literally just gets told they've passed the SAS process. The one exception to this is the first series of the celebrity version which was done in collaboration with Stand Up To Cancer and was done to raise funds for the charity. However, it does seem the pride and achievement of passing selection is the prize within itself for many celebrities. Georgia Harrison, who won last year's show, said of her win in an interview with the Daily Mirror: "It made me a lot stronger and it was almost like an actual turning point in my life to really overcome all the trauma and challenge I've been through the year before. "I'm like, 'Right this is my time to come back fighting, come back stringer and move into a whole new era of my life.' I've definitely felt a shift in my energy, my vibration, my ability to handle things." Though they don't win a cash prize, the celebrities are paid for appearing in the show and over the years there's been some very large salaries. Katie Price was reportedly paid £120,000 for her appearance on the show in 2020, Matt Hancock was said to be paid £45,000 to take part in the show back in 2023 and last year, despite being in the show for less than 24 hours John Barrowman was reportedly paid £30,000. Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Win continues on Channel 4
