
Riize hits career high with 1st LP
Riize is raising the bar higher for itself with first studio album 'Odyssey.'
The band's first LP sold over 1.79 million copies in its first week, marking a career-high for the six-member act. The album is its third consecutive million-seller, following first single 'Get A Guitar' from 2023 and first EP 'Riizing' last year.
The new set debuted atop a series of music charts at home as well as in Japan and China, while main track 'Fly Up' notched the No. 3 spot on Melon's Top 100.
From July, the boy band will travel to 14 cities across Asia for the 'Riizing Loud' tour. The tour kicks off in Seoul on July 4. After three days of shows, the group will visit five cities in Japan and six in Southeast Asia.

H1-Key to return later this month
Girl group H1-Key is slated to bring out a new album on June 26, according to agency GLG Entertainment on Monday. The quartet will release a new set about a year after its third EP, 'Love or Hate.' The mini album made the iTunes Top Albums Chart in six regions while lead single 'Let It Burn' claimed No. 15 on Melon's Hot 100. Seventeen's 5th LP sells over 2 million, tops Melon chart
The fifth studio album from Seventeen sold more than 2.26 million units on the day of its release, while the main track from the album notched the No. 1 spot on Melon's Top 100, after having debuting at No. 7. The LP 'Happy Burstday' dropped on Monday. Six tracks from the album, including focus track 'Thunder,' were among the top ten on the largest music chart in Korea. The album topped iTunes top albums charts in 15 regions, as did the lead single on top songs charts in 13 regions. The 13-member band unveiled 'Thunder' in advance at its free outdoor concert in Seoul on Sunday evening. The group took over a bridge on the Han River and celebrated the pending release of the album as well as the group's 10th anniversary.
