The Chicago Sky closed their 2024 WNBA campaign with a 13-27 record, missing the playoffs. Amid the rebuild, rookie forward Angel Reese emerged as the Sky's most consistent performer.
On Tuesday, Beats by Dre unveiled a new 'Pill People' short on its X account, casting Reese as the Blush Pink Beats Pill Person in a retailer-exclusive launch.

The accompanying caption read, "Just a winner's mentality @Reese10Angel 💘🚨 The long-awaited return of the (Blush) Pink Beats Pill is FINALLY HERE, only at @Target."
In the video, Reese, voicing the Pink Pill, tells her counterparts, "Listen, my plan is to be the best Pill in the house. It's nothing personal, but I'm on a mission to become the greatest Pill of all time."
When another Pill replies, "It's not a competition, Angel. We're all on the same team here," she simply responds, "Cool, I want to be captain."
In 2024, Reese was named both a WNBA All-Star and to the All-Rookie Team after averaging 13.6 points and a league-leading 13.1 rebounds per game.

The Blush Pink Beats Pill boasts a remodeled 20° upward tilt speaker design, IP67 water and sweat resistance, USB-C charging and 24-hour battery life.
This partnership highlights Reese's rapid ascent as a marketable star.

For the Sky, it provides a marquee moment to promote their franchise around Reese's growing profile.
As training camp opens and the 2025 WNBA season approaches, both Reese and the Sky will look to translate off-court momentum into on-court success.

Caitlin Clark, Reggie Miller, Oscar Robertson among those in crowd for Game 3 of NBA Finals

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Caitlin Clark is at the NBA Finals, taking a baseline seat to cheer on the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. The WNBA star — wearing a yellow T-shirt emblazoned with the famed 'In 49 other states it's just basketball. But this is Indiana' saying along with a finals logo — was seated with Indiana Fever teammates Aliyah Boston and Natasha Howard for the game, in the same end of the floor as the Pacers' bench. Among the other Indiana basketball royalty at the game: Hall of Famers Oscar Robertson and Reggie Miller, both seated near the court as well, along with Mark Jackson, Dale Davis and many other former Pacers. The Pacers were taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. It was the first Indiana home game in the NBA's title series since 2000. Clark and the Fever have been regular attendees at Pacers games during this playoff run when their schedule allows. The Fever don't play again until Saturday, at home against the defending WNBA champion New York Liberty. Clark has been sidelined with a thigh injury, but it's possible she returns to the lineup on Saturday. ___ AP NBA:
