Sushil Kashyap and Bhaskar Singh alleged that in the said recruitment, OBC category has been given only 3.86% reservation instead of 27%, SC category has been given only 16.2% reservation instead of 21% and thus in this recruitment, Basic Education Rules 1981 and Reservation Rules 1994 have been violated.
They also alleged that the original selection of this recruitment was not being made public for the last 5 years despite the order of a division bench of the Allahabad high court issued on August 13. 2024, 'which shows that there has been a huge reservation scam in the said recruitment'. Basic education department officials said the matter was pending in the court and they will abide by the order of the Supreme Court.

On an appeal by the state, the top court said on April 17 that the non-tainted teachers may be allowed to continue in service until December 31 but they must go through a fresh selection test. Haque is among those teachers who are opposed to the test. Anish Sarkar, deputy commissioner of police, Bidhannagar, played the audio clip before the media on Sunday. Haque was arrested hours later. 'We did not oppose the bail because he is scheduled to appear for the test on September 7,' Sarkar told the media on Monday evening. Asked why charges of plotting mutiny in the armed forces were pressed against Haque, Sarkar said: 'I cannot comment before seeing the court order.'

SP produces affidavits of 2022; accuses CEC of 'lying brazenly'
NEW DELHI: Samajwadi Party Monday accused the CEC of "lying brazenly" that the party had not given any affidavit on the deletion of voters in Uttar Pradesh, even as Akhilesh Yadav alleged targeted deletion of backward and most backward class voters, who back SP, at the behest of the governing party. As the row over voter deletion deepened Monday, SP affidavits became the opposition's propaganda weapon with INDIA bloc MPs holding them up during the protest against SIR of electoral rolls in Bihar and Election Commission at the Parliament entrance ahead of proceedings in the morning. Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy Monday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was blocking approval of the two BC reservation bills and an ordinance to remove the 50% cap on reservations because of his anger at Rahul Gandhi 's fight for education, employment, and political empowerment of Backward Classes. "If PM Modi and Union minister G Kishan Reddy have anything against Rahul Gandhi's stand for justice to the BCs, let them book more cases against him individually. Already, there are several cases pending. But they should stop blocking the BC quota bills. Modi and Kishan Reddy should take up the issue with the President and ensure assent for the two bills passed by the Telangana assembly and the ordinance.
