Two neighbouring businesses in Guelph were broken into Wednesday morning.
The Guelph Police Service said they were called to a plaza near Laird Road and Southgate Drive shortly after 8 a.m. after an employee at an unrelated business discovered the glass doors to two shops had been smashed.
Investigators said security video showed two men approached the stores just after 1 a.m. and broke the doors to get inside.
They took a cash drawer, tablets, phones and approximately $1,000 worth of other products.
Both suspects were described as men between the ages of 18 to 35. They wore hoodies and gloves. One also wore a mask.
